Getting "iPhone needs to cool down" warning while using Apple Maps

I bought the iPhone 6 yesterday and today I used the Apple Maps navigation on it. Not 30 mins into the navigation I got following warning from the phone "iPhone needs to cool down". 30 minutes of GPS usage is not too much. This happened twice. Are other ppl. having the same issue or is it just my phone?

Is there an easy way to toggle between an Apple ID and a cell phone number in Messages?

My son has an iPod but just a regular cell phone. We communicate a lot through texts/Messages but he doesn't always have a wifi connection on his iPod so sometimes, he is only reachable through his cell phone number and other times through his Apple ID. Is there an easy way to select which channel I want to contact him through on Messages?

On your Mac in Messages with his conversation in "focus" (the one selected) Click and hold his Name in the "to" Spot and the top right of the right hand pane where the conversation is.
This will become a Drop Down and show you the iMessages (and other accounts he might have) options.
In some cases they may not have been used before and may not have the indicator.
Example
NOTE.
Any phone number will be listed as a potential iMessages ID as well any emails.
In the above example I happen to know that both the emails are Apple IDs (What I don't know is if my wife as linked either to her iPhone Number)

You can only sync with one iTuns library/computer. It sounds like the Nano was previously synced to another computer/library.
Just make sure that you also ways sync to the same computer/iTunes library.

Need a way to find out users who have not all logged in into the portal

Please can some body tell me the way to find out all the users who have not at all logged in into the SAP enterprise portal after their user ID's are created.
Are there any methods(UME APIs) or attributes that set the status of user whether he/she has logged in into the portal first time.

Samba: Need easy way to connect as USER like Windows

i am searching for a easy way to connect to my samba server like in windows.
I dosent want allways mount sambashares as root with root:root writes.
I need samba mount as user i try set the suid bit on smbmount but doesent works right.
[sydney@midgard ~]$ smbmount //192.168.2.20/sydeney /media/smb/sydney/ -o username=sydney
libsmb based programs must *NOT* be setuid root.
4240: Connection to 192.168.2.20 failed
SMB connection failed
i know fstab is a way but i dont want use it, only if no other solution.
I hope some can tel me a solution or HowTo mount sambashares as user.

Iphone5 goes to google maps whenever an app needs a map, i'd rather use apple maps. how?

It is up to the app developer what map API to use. The apps you have chosen to use Google; I have an app that uses Bing. It is the developer's choice, not Apple's, however.

What happened to "recently purchased" ? I need a way to find the songs i recently bought so that i may add them to a playlist

In the menu bar, go to file, add smart playlist. It should open a window to customize the playlist. I think you want to set it to date added.

You should be syncing your contact to your computer.
You can probably find a way to get the contacts from your computer to your new phone.

I tried to update my phone and it shut off and said I need to plug it into a computer for itunes and I dont have a computer to connect it to. My phone wont turn on either and I can't use it until I connect to a computer.

Two options. Create a guest user on the computer and there will not be any content on the "guest" iTunes. Or if unable to do that set up the iPhone as New. Do not subsequently synch the phone.

I ordered a pay as you go sim card from EE a few weeks ago to use in my iphone 5 as a second/work phone. The package on the sim is a 'top up £1 and get some free mins and texts (no data allowance)' plan. I put the sim card in my phone and have left the phone at home and not put any credit on it yet or used it at all, ( not even any apps/calls etc ). I am getting sick of this as i have turned mobile data off in the settings and my phone is constantly connected to my home wi-fi so cannot see how it would even by using any data. Today i have come home to 8 of these messages! I refuse to top my phone up with credit and start using it until this is sorted as im not paying for any data usage i wont use! There are no apps running in the background, and nothing has been set up on the phone that would require internet usage i.e. emails / weather etc. Please can someone help me... Thanks
