I mistakenly replaced Firefox 16.0.2 with 19 how do I get 16.0.2 back
My Mac operates on OS X and Firefox 19 is not compatible with OS X. Since 19 replaced 16 it has been removed from my applications file

i need to replace firefox 4.0.1 with firefox 3.6 because my add ins don't work with 4.0 but will work with 3.6. How do I accomplish this?Any particular add-on? Maybe there's an updated version or substitute?
If you can't find a solution with Firefox 4, here's the process to roll back:
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, download and save Firefox 3.6 to your desktop for future installation. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
Close Firefox 4.
You could install Firefox 3.6 over it (many have reported success) or you could uninstall Firefox first. If you uninstall, do not remove your personal data and settings, just the program.
Unless you have installed an incompatible add-on, Firefox 3.6 should pick up where you left off. If there are serious issues, please post back with details.
Note: I haven't actually tried this myself! -

From the email newsletter, I downloaded the new firefox. I said yes when asked if I wanted to replace the one that was there. I then found out that my computer's operating system will not work with the new firefox, and my old one is gone. How do I get the previous version back?

Before installing 4.0.1 I could right click on the Firefox icon on my computer's taskbar and hit close window. It would then give me the option to "save tabs and quit" or "close all tabs."
Now it just alerts me that I'll be closing multiple tabs.
It was convenient to be able to close Firefox and open it with all of the tabs in place. There is nothing more irritating than having multiple tabs lost because your computer did an update overnight and restarted. Also it was helpful when you wanted to run a tun-up or cleaner that asked you close out of your browser for optimum result's.
How do I get "save and quit" back?
ThanksFirefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.

My computer keeps defaulting from a GB format to US format keyboard with a US flag in the top bar. How do I get it to go back to a GB flag and stay with a GB flag?

On clicking the US flag I had previously then unchecked the US box. It has rechecked itself, and I have unchecked it again. The GB English remains checked.
The flag icon has now gone completely from the top bar (just replaced with character and keyboard viewer) -but that's fine. That's different to previous attempts to fix the issue.
Hopefully now I will remain able to type a £ sign on the keyboard rather than get the criss-cross symbol. It may well default back in about an hour (which is what has been happening since this started 2 days ago). If it does I'll come back on here. Many thanks in the mean time for your help. -
I downloaded the new version of itunes and when i plug my phone into the computer and try and do something in itunes it wont let me because my device is synced to another itunes library. how do i get my old itunes back? or how can i sync my stuff into the new itunes with out deleting anything off my phone? My daughter's iPad is backing up to my iCloud, which is how we set it up originally. Now she has her own iPhone with her own iCloud. How can I get her iPad to back up to her own iCloud? Her iPad is taking up 3.4MB of my 5MB. I need my space back!

Yes, that's correct, it won't affect your account or your devices in any way.
Use the delete account button in the iCloud settings.
Then enter her iCloud details in the new screen that appears and log in. She should then be returned to the screen above but with her Apple ID at the top, enable the services she wishes to use and then tap the storage & backup option and ensure that iCloud backup is turned on.

How can I get Time Machine to back up an external hard drive (iPhotos) that is attached to airport extreme base station. Note: Time machine is usb to macbook pro and external drive with iphotos is usb to airport extreme base station. Help please. Thanks!
Once you have the drive connected to your Mac, click System Preferences (gear icon) on the dock
Click Time Machine
Click Options
Be default, the hard drive will be Excluded from backups. Click the drive to highlight it, then click the "-" (minus) button at the bottom of the list to remove the drive from Excluded items.
The drive will be backed up on the next Time Machine pass
Everything above assumes that the hard drive has been formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as Time Machine will only backup drives in that format.
