I moved my project and I can't get it back

I'm sure I'm missing something. I moved the folder that my project was in to back it up. I tried to put it back but Premier Pro CS3 doesn't "see" any of the clips/files. It asks me for several locations...I Select them...and the project opens with those few files intact but the rest seem to be "offline". Do I need to re-link every single clip? Thanks in advance for any help.

This often happens if upon Opening the Project, the user chooses Ignore, or Offline All, and then does a Save, rather than a Save_As. The original links to media are overwritten. Save_As is safer.
When Opening a Project, where the Assets have been Moved, or Renamed, PrPro will try to help you locate those Assets in several ways. Before choosing to Offline, one should avail themselves of that help - or do a Save_As.
One thing to look into, since you did Move the Assets back, would be to explore any AutoSave files that you might have. If you moved the Assets back to the original locations, one of those will have the original links, and might not have lost too much editing. Remember to look at the Date/Time of those AutoSave files. One with a higher incremental number might not be the latest - check the folder in Details View Mode, and study the Date/Times carefully.
Otherwise, you might have to manually relink. It's not the end of the world, but does take some time.

Ana Candano, what is your Aperture version? Earlier Aperture versions - until Aperture 3.2.4 had colored icons, Aperture 3.3 and later are gray in gray. Do you have two versions of Aperture installed?
When you post back, list your version of MacOS X and the versions of any Aperture.app you can find with Spotlight on your Mac.

I believe now you potentially lose all extensions, plug-ins when you use the new reset function, but you will let me know.
If that is the case, your find corrupt file method maybe better. However, I reviewed the two help articles and there appear to be more files than just the delete search.json file and a possible search.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder. I am confused. Then I have to find the folders. I think help articles mentioned how to find the profile containing the files, but not sure.

You can only sync with one computer. When you synced to the new computer it would have erased it and synced what was on the new computer.
You always need to have a backup, an iPhone is not a storage device.
When you get a new computer you need to transfer your library before syncing
If you don't have a backup you may be out of luck
The only thing would be if you're in the US and have access to the iCloud beta to reload purchases

My apps. ended up on my computer and I can not get them back onto my iphone.

You might want to repair Acrobat from the 'Help' menu and check if it installs the pdf printer back or not.

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

Apple calls it Smart Search field.
There is no way to separate them.

I've been using a new HD camera and i have had to change a billion settings on FCP. Now that I am no longer using HD it was time to go back to the way they were, but I must have done something wrong. My canvas and timeline are gone and I can't get them back. I tried going to window and just pulling them up but I can't click on the canvas and timeline buttons...

Trash your FCP preferences. This will reset FCP to it's defaults.
Close Final Cut Pro and open a Finder window.
Click on your user name in the side bar.
Open the following sub folders Library, Preferences, Final Cut Pro User Data.
Place the following files in the Trash:
Final Cut Pro 6.0 Prefs, Final Cut Pro Obj Cache, Final Cut Pro Prof Cache.
Empty the Trash.
Open Final Cut Pro. You will be asked to choose your working format (Easy Setup) and designate your scatch disks.

I went onto windows live messenger today and all my contacts have disappeared from it, but I also noticed that they had somehow now appeared in my curve 9360 phone contacts. How did this happen, and how can I get them back into windows live messenger and out of my phone contacts on my phone? This is driving me crazy, can anybody help please?
My phone is the curve 9360, OS is 7.0.0 bundle 2259 And it was purchased Easter Monday

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

When an iPhone updates, it wipes the whole device clean and then reinstalls the software and then the backup. Obviously you didn't create/couldn't create a backup either via iCloud or iTunes. You can get your apps back when you go to App Store>Updates>Purchased and download the apps you want.
