I Movie HD wont let me save anything, shuts down on export
HELP!! I work for a photography company and we want high quality slide shows for our customers. I Movie makes very nice movies but we have to process slideshows of over 300 images. I will get the whole process done, transitions, music (3 hours of work at least) and the stupid program shuts down and i lose Everything!!! it throws everything in the trash and i have to start from scratch. ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING!! Some on please help. why does this happen? I have bare-boned my computer so that nothing else is running and there is plenty of space. anyone have a clue how to gt around this?? This problem, if i can'r resolve it, will force me to have to use some hookie slideshow software (yuk). And yes, i know i photo does nice slide shows but i need more than simply the slideshow.

Are you saving the project once in a while? If we don't save, and iMovie runs into a problem and crashes, everything ends up in the iMovie Trash for iMovie doesn't know what to do with it.
Working for hours without saving not only risks losing lots of work but also, probably, increases the likelihood of iMovie crashing.
So it's good to get in the habit of saving, and saving often.
If you ARE saving regularly, but still losing the project, please say more. You should lose only the material that's not been saved. And much of that should go in the iMovie Trash.

Rebuild the mailboxes if you still have some access to Mail.app (Mail.app > select the mailboxes you're working with, then Mailbox > Rebuild from the menus), or Force Quit mail if not and if mail is stuck.
The Force Quit here is different from Quit, and to Force Quit Mail.app, place the cursor over the Mail.app icon in the Dock and press and hold the option key, then click and hold on the Mail.app icon, and select Force Quit from the available options in the pop-up.
Then restart OS X.
I'd then try rebuilding the mailboxes.
Force Quit isn't something I'd recommend using as part of your daily operations. -

If it says your billing info is wrong that means that your credit card issuer is refusing to approve your account. You will have to solve the problem with your bank or credit card company.

I had gotten a gift card with around $20 on it so I decided to buy some songs. I had bought a few, then I bought the last song, and now iTunes wont allow me to update my apps, or let me download any other apps because apparently I have $0 on my card; The weird part about that is it let me keep the song, but wont let me get anything else regardless of the charge. If you go to the Apple equivalent of: Appdata\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates (sorry am a mere PC user )
If there is a file titled iphone1,22.1_5F136Restore then try deleting it and then running iTunes without your iPhone attached.
Go to the menu and select Help/Software Updates which should then notify you that there are updates and allow you to download them in advance of restoring.
Hopefully this will download the update. Once completed attach the iPhone and restore.

I think that you mean that you are getting a message to contact iTunes Store Support. There must be some issue with your account that only iTunes support can solve for you.
Go here and click on the iTunes Store Support link on the right side and then in the next window, click on Purchases, Billing and Redemption, then click on Unable to Purchase from the iTunes Store, then click on email in the next window. Send an email and tell them what you are experiencing.

Ok so I recently got a new MacBook Pro and my external hard drive will let me see what I have on it but wont let me save. It worked fine with other MacBook Pro's with snowleperd but dosen't seem to work with my Mountian Lion.

Aperture wont let me do anything!
So I am working in aperture going about my merry way after having just imported a batch of new images for the first time in a while, and then it just stops letting me import photos. So I quit out and try to go back in. Now it appears to completely hang and never opens my library. But it actually does launch but doesn’t freeze, it just wont do ANYTHING. Every single menu is grayed out.
So I remove the prefs file per some posts I saw and still nothing. So I thought maybe my libarary is boogered up, moved and renamed my library and fired it up. It creates a brand new library in my original location and STILL nothing. It just sits there and you cant do anything. It doesn’t show any window, and it wont let you do anything.
So I tried to rebuild my library and that didn’t work. I am starting to run out of ideas. I obviously have rebooted several times in there.
Does anyone have any suggestions?!
