Are the photos you want to send back to your mac on your iPad, iPod, iPhone saved to the camera roll? If you have photos in other albums (not camera roll) share them to the camera roll.
Then connect your device via USB and lauch iPhoto. You will see your device as a camera in iPhoto. Import those photos like you would import from a camera.

I went to apple store and they walked me through this except for the syncing part. I went to sync everything at home and a lot of my photos aren't there. When I scroll all the way down, its just a loading spiral thing.

Is there some way to put my icloud pictures on my computer as well?If the restore process is done, or seems to have stalled, and it didnt' restore your camera roll photos, all you can do is try restoring the backup again. If it's still restoring, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup and tap Stop Restoring at the bottom. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud backup and follow the prompts.
Be sure your phone is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup. You might want to move it closer to your wifi router for the strongest signal possible. -

Thanks a lot! After I sent the above post, I tried that. It worked a little. Some of the ones that I Purchased would not come up. I followed instructions from Apple about going to Purchased and downloading them again, but ran into another problem. They are greyed on my Mac and they will not download again. It says to click on the iCloud beside them, but there is not one visible. iCloud is set up, at least I thought it was. I am sure there is a simple explanation, but I am missing it!

You'll need to get it all onto one iTunes collection on your Mac Pro, then sync the devices to that. iTunes only lets you transfer purchases from a device, otherwise you have to use third party software.
I guess you could also look into getting iTunes Match. -

I was thinking of getting my wife an ipad mini. I use a PC with Windows 7, latest version of itunes installed. From this I have an ipad, ipod and iphone, all of which work perfectly. My question is will the ipad mini also work and be recognised as another device?
Can I put some of my existing Apps onto the mini?
Thanks in advance.Sure, but only if the new iGadget is "married" to the rest by virtue of having the same AppleID. You will be able to back up, update and upgrade its contents, apps and iOS on the iTunes application on the PC.
However, if it shares the same AppleID as the rest of your toys, she will be able to read your mail and see your messages, which could eventually lead to battles royal on who said what to whom. So beware, you have been warned. -
I have a problem with Iphoto '06. I have approximately 28000 photos. Recently all but 5000 have disappeared. I can not find or restore them. Any suggestions?

Where in there did you look for the image files?
Did you run any updaters pror to discovering the missing photos? What fixes have you tried? Do you have a backup of the library on another hard drive?

This did not happen by syncing with iTunes alone. The Camera Roll is not included or touched with the iTunes sync process.
The first time you connect a new iPhone to iTunes that has been used to sync with another iPhone, you are prompted to transfer the backup for the other iPhone to the new iPhone, or set up as a new iPhone or don't transfer the backup for the previous or old iPhone. You chose the former, which replaced the Camera Roll on your new iPhone with the Camera Roll for your previous iPhone. This was followed by a sync with iTunes.
If you didn't import the photos from the Camera Roll on your new iPhone with your computer as with any other digital camera before you chose to transfer the backup for your old or previous iPhone to your new iPhone, the photos that were in the Camera Roll on your new iPhone are gone. -

If they really meant that much to you, they would have been copied off to a computer at the earliest possible opportunity.
I personally find it amazing that people get so upset when pictures "accidentally" get deleted and then scream about how important they are. You wouldn't leave important paper work lying around to be lost/damaged/stolen, so why take a chance with important pictures on a device that can so easily be lost/damaged/stolen, or deleted by a child. -

Thank you very muchDo you have a backup of your iPhone in iCloud or in iTunes on your Mac? Are you planning to get a replacement for your iphone (or an iPod Touch or iPad)? When you setup your replacement you can use your backup, and the backup will include all photos in the camera roll.

"2013 May Photostream. " is a project that will automatically be created, when you enable Autoimport for Photo Stream. Have you still your Photo Stream enabled in iPhoto on your Mac? If not, enable it again in the iPhoto Preferences.
If the Photo Stream is not showing in the source list, hover the mouse beside the "Web" heading in the Source List to show the "Show" button. Press it. Then click "Photo Stream", open "My Photo Stream" and wait a while for the stream to sync.

Thinking that I was deleting it from my iPod, I have inadvertently deleted a lot of music from my iTunes library. I clicked for saving to file rather than sending to trash. How can I get it back into my library?
See Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash or simply import the media folder back into the library. Restoring a recent backup of the .itl database will restore the original date added values, ratings, play counts, playlist membership, etc. that would otherwise be missing from the reimported media.

I have a problem with Photo Library on my iphone4.
It shows the number of photos contained in the Library, but when I choose the folder, it shows black.
This happened after iTunes automatically synced with my iPhone without my wish or knowledge. During the sync, I saw it started deleting images, so I immediately stopped it. But maybe it was too late???
The reason I have my pics in the library was that I had to empty my pictures folder on my PC, so I moved my pics to my iPhone. I guess that was a mistake...
Does anyone know if there is any way for me to be able to see my photos again?
Thanks for your attention!They could be gone unfortunately. You might try quitting the photos app then starting it again.
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on the app in question until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.
If that doesn't work try quitting it again but reset your iPad before restarting the Photos app.
Quit your Photos app like I describe above but do not restart it. Then reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

ITunes freezes after playing or ripping a disc
I'm having big trouble with iTunes. Every time I play or rip a CD, iTunes freezes if I try to eject the disc or close down iTunes. Everything else works fine up to the point when I try to close iTunes and the whole PC locks up and I have to re-boot.
