Need a camera that saves video clips in a format the iPhone will read

I have a Samsung digital camera and it takes great photos and video clips. The problem is, they don't sync on my iPhone because they must use a different format than .MOV
It's a big enough issue that I would consider buying a new camera. Can anyone recommend a good camera that, once the videos are imported in iPhoto, will then play nice with the iPhone?

Both the iPhone Quicktime Movie files produced with the File > Export for Web using Quicktime 7 Pro (.m4v and .3gp) play fine on iPhone 4 for me.
Don't have any earlier iPhones handy to test with atm.
That said, the official tech specs do not list that specific file extension as being one iPhone reads: http://support.apple.com/kb/SP587
The .3gp file produced by Quicktime 7 Pro is using the H.264 codec which is supported by iPhone which might be why it still works.

I need a relatively cheap digital camera that will work with a G4 Quicksilver. I know I'll probably have to get a used one, but that's OK. I just have no idea which older brands or models will work with a Power Mac. Anybody have any suggestions?

Cameras often allow a direct USB cable connection to a computer. This could possibly lead to compatibility problems, depending upon the requirements for each camera.
For cameras with a flash memory card slot (many modern models have one), an alternative solution would be to use an appropriate USB memory card reader connected to the computer. One could then move the memory card (for example, SD or CompactFlash) to the USB reader. The transfer is usually relatively fast, and no power is drawn from the camera batteries. The G4 should not have difficulties reading files from memory cards.

I'm looking for a charting solution to display the parent-child relationships between jobs in our job schedule. A given job may have 0 or more parent jobs and may have 0 or more child jobs. Similar to org chart but allowing child node(s) to link to more than 1 parent node. Any ideas...?

Correct; our job scheduler is InControl and I can pull the schedule data from there into our database for reporting. Ultimately my goal is to get the data from InControl into our database for reporting/visualization, and build an Apex application that will allow us to make changes to the schedule (add/remove/modify jobs and their dependencies) and then generate a report to serve as the job documentation for our team and for the schedulers to make the corresponding changes in InControl, and so the data center operators have up-to-date information for overnight support in the event of job failures. It's just that visualization piece that seems elusive, the rest is just writing queries designing the app, writing the report, etc.

Hi folks,
do you know how many cores are supported by after fx CS3?
I am able to use a dual xeon quadcore workstation with 8 cores and 24 GB Ram for my diploma, but I don't know if this hardware is supported by CS3?
It is the Xeon 5355 Quad Core 2,67 Ghz on dual 771 socket mainboard from Tyan. The OS is Win Vista Premium 64bit.
Does anyone of you have further information if this is doable?

Each instance of AE can only access a maximum of 4 GB of RAM (on Vista64). With the "Render multiple frames simultaneously" option in the preferences, AE CS3 and later can start several hidden copies of itself in the background, which can each address that maxmium amount of RAM, so your machine would ideally use 5 processor cores (5 x 4 = 20 GB and leave 4 GB for the OS.)
In CS4 you can set the number of cores to use, in CS3 you have to do it via a text file, detailed in this post:

If you can't install Windows 7 or higher or get a new computer with Windows 7 or higher, you won't be able to run Photoshop Elements 13.
