I need a charge refunded.

I downloaded the Mad Magazine subscription last year for free. The app didn't work so I deleted it. I haven't used it in months or even had it on my devices. Then today I got a charge for $10. It looks like I was automatically renewed for my subscription?
Apple makes it hard to even turn off auto renew, and doesn't send a message prior notifying me that I will get the charge? Even GoDaddy does that! I've cancelled my subscription as of today and have not even looked at an issue of Mad. I want my $10 back!

my ipad 3 currently has only 18% charge, ive just gone to click on the download button to download new ios 6 but its not highlighted so therfore i cant do it, is this because ipad needs more charge?

Yes, the update takes quite a bit of time (> 1 hr for my iPad2) and will not initiate unless you have enough juice in your battery or are plugged in.

  • How can I re-charge my ipod when I think it needs re-charging?

    Hi all.
Now this may sound like a stupid question, but here goes. I use my ipod every day to go for power-walks.
I'm not sure when the power is depleted and I don't know how to check for that (is there a way). but I've used it every day this week and I'm about to go for another power walk. So I figured it might need a bit of re-charging so I plugged it into my computer and it just kept saying "updating your ipod, do not disconnect". Then it said "safe to disconnect". Now I did NOT want to update my ipod, I wanted to make sure that when I went out, that my ipod would not go off on me.
So there are actually two questions here?
the first is: Is there a way to tell if it needs re-charging.
And second. Why can't I just plug it into the computer and it should say "charging".
In the past, I only re-charged it when I found out after walkking, that it went dead on me. So I knew I had to go home and plug it in and the thing goes "CHARGING".
And an hour later or so, it's all charged up.
Isn't there some way to do this 'BETWEEN CHARGES"???
Anybody understand what I'm getting at here?
thanks to anybody who understands my question.
    Melody
P.S. I used to post with a different user ID but it wouldn't accept it so I re-registered.

Hi, I have read the tutorials and no where does it answer my question. I really tried to find my answer believe me but I had to come back here.
I plugged in my ipod and went to ipd options. I then checked the little box that said "manually update songs".
    Then I clicked okay.
so that option has been selected.
Two days later (I had maybe used my ipod for 3 hours total), I looked at my ipod to see the strength of my battery life and in the upper right corner, the battery has a little picture that indicates the following.
3/4ths of the battery is clear and one fourth of the battery is in black.
Does this mean I need more charging or I have 3/4th charge left. Does the black mean that is how much is left?
Also, and here is where I get completely lost.
I was told that if I chose manually update for my songs, that when I plug in my ipod, it would absolutely automaticlaly recharge. Even if there was a bit of charge in the ipod, I was under the impression that it would re-charge it fully. This did not happen.
I plugged in the ipod, the ipod said the words, do not disconnect" and up on my itunes screen it said "Ipod is Updated".
Now where am I being told that it is recharging.
I remember when I first bought this thing, I had to plug it into the computer and it took 2 hours to charge it up.
Now, when the thing goes dead on me, I plug it in and it takes 15 minutes. Am I crazy or something? or is something not right here.
I just went to ebay to buy a home wall charger. I first went to Radio Shack and it costs $29.99.
On ebay you can get it (generic version) for $.99 plus s&h.
Here's the link to what I mean.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/For-Apple-iPod-Mini-Nano-Video-Home-Wall-Charger_W0QQitemZ18 0018872971QQihZ008QQcategoryZ48680QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Now, if I buy this home charging thing and I plug in my ipod, will it then re-charge it fully??? or do I just keep plugging it into my computer and hope for the best.
I guess I'm just not reading the little symbol in the upper right hand corner correctly.
I really did go to the tutorial but I can't find my answers.
Please somebody just answer my basic questions and I'll go away quietly.
    Thanks,
    Melody

  • When travelling from US to UK and France what do I need to charge macbook and iPhone?

When travelling from US to UK and France what do I need to charge macbook and iPhone?

Just a pin converter and your Apple US Power adapters (100-240v 50/60Hz)
The European sockets take 2 x round pins, adapter available from  in most drug stores carrying travel aids as is the UK pin converter.
UK is heavier 3 x rectangular pins

  • How long do you need to charge a new iPhone 5 for before trying to turn it on?

I received a new iphone 5 in the post today to replace the ne I had smashed the screen on.
I was told that I would need to charge the phone and then insert my SIM and it would be good to go.
The phone has been on charge since 14:00 and still wont turn on (tried when still on charge and off charge).
    Any ideas?
I have held down the power button for 10+ seconds
I have held the power and home button down together for 10+ seconds
I have held the home button, plugged the phone into my Mac, Itunes then acknowledges that a IPhone is present and is up to date but the screen on my actual ipone remains black????

It doesn't matter. You can use it right away. Charge it when you need to.

  • Do I need to charge my Zen Vision:M before turning it

Will I upset the battery gods if I just turn it on? If so, how long does it need to charge?

The battery won't be effected if you don't let it run down to be dead. Honestly it charges faster on the USB cable if the device is on and plugged in. So if it has charged enough to turn on, I would turn it on and plug it in so its recognized by windows and it will charge faster. Just don't let the battery run down, as the limitation with USB charging devices is that they get much less current to charge on if windows can't recognize it.
So if you run the battery down to close to dead, it will take you that much longer to recharge so its best to keep the units mostly charged.

  • Is true that I need to charge my ipod 5G 12 hours for the first time?

Is true that I need to charge my ipod 5G 12 hours for the first time? Help me please

No, you need to charge until the battery shows it is fully charged...that can take only a couple hours depending on how far you have discharged it.  You do not need to discharge the iPod all the way and then recharge...plug it in when convenient and top up that battery.  Plug it in at night so it is charged in the morning.
You cannot overcharge the battery, the charging circuit shutsdown when the battery is fully charged so you cannot harm it leaving it plugged in.

  • HT1695 Do I need to charge my ipad before setting it up?

Do I need to charge my ipad mini before setting it up? and if so how long?

Nope. All apple devices come precharged.  It may not have 100% battery but it should still be pretty much charged. You should be able to turn it on and start setting it up.  You can even set it up while its charging if you wanted to.

  • What do I need to charge an iPhone in France?

I'm planning to travel to Paris and need to know what exactly I need to charge my iPhone once I get there. Will I need a voltage converter or just a plug adapter? I've done quite a bit of Googling and can't seemed to find any detailed info on this.
Also, anyone know what the availability of wifi is like over there?

Just a plug adapter so the North American plug fits into a European socket. The AC adapter that came with your iPhone works on 100-240 V and 50/60 Hz (even states that in very fine print on the adapter itself), so it works (nearly) worldwide with the proper plug adapter.
Wi-Fi availability is pretty good in urban areas.

  • My apple is not recognizing my ipod nano G4, has always worked in the past. Need to charge it, but it won't charge. please help. have read troubleshooting, checked connectionsp

my mac doesnt recognize my ipod nano G4, its always worked before. read the trouble shoots, checked all connections. it needs to charge and wont do it.

Try the suggestions in article - iPod not recognized in iTunes and Mac desktop.  If the suggestions do not work, more than likely you need a new battery.  Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP.  Whichever is more convenient for you.

  • HT1430 What is the output power,      when using a portable batteries that the iPad need to charge up??

What is the output power needed to charge a iPad,  when using a portable battery?
    Will 2.1A output work?
    Thanks

The wall charger which comes with the ipad is a 10 watt charger, it's current is 2A, voltage is 5v. 2x5=10 w.
    2.1Ax5v = 10.5w.

  • Need to Charge only Excise Duty Cost to customer.

    Hi Gurus,
I need to sell lot of materials.Out of all these material , i have 1 material whose only excise duty price, i need  to charge to customer not the actual price
On the basis of its price the excise duty will get calculated.
How should i proceed?Pricing procedure is same for all customers.Pl. Help me regarding the same.

Create one more condition type with calculation type as percent with negative sign in V/06.  Have the access sequence as Customer / Material (or whatever combination you require) and maintain 100% in VK11. Maintain this condition type before your excise condition type and assign the From-To step number accordingly.
So whenever you create sale order, system will search for this combination and wherever, you maintain 100% discount, this will reflect in your sale order and accordingly, only the duty portion will get debited.  Wherever you have not maintained the 100% discount, then the selling price and duty as well will get debited as there will be nil value against this condition type in sale order.
