What country, state, and city do you live in? (Your name above indicates you might be in NY.(?)
Has your child been diagnosed with autism so that he deals with a specialist? The doctor/medical facility you are connected with should be able to help you.
I did a quick google search and many groups came up. You can also get connected with many groups, such as your board of education, autismspeaks.org, hollyrod.org, nationalautismassociation.org, ...the list goes on.
If you google 'autism support groups' and 'autism support groups in (your city)' you might get to some groups that will steer you in the right direction.

Use AirPort Utility 5.6 which contains the features you need. It is compatible with Lion as well as Mountain Lion, however, the installer app will refuse to install it on Mountain Lion.
This dilemma is easily solved though. You simply need to extract the app from the installer package using a package extractor like Pacifist.

If you happen to have an archived copy of the AU 5.6 app somewhere, such as a Time Machine backup or equivalent, you can simply restore it or drag the app to your Mountain Lion system's Utilities folder. It will run without complaint. It is only the package installer that is the problem.
Mountain Lion will not allow you to delete its existing version of AirPort Utility. Just ignore it. It and the older version (which will bear the unique name "AirPort Utility 5.6") can peacefully coexist.
Note: For those with Leopard or Snow Leopard systems you need AirPort Utility 5.6.1 (this is confusing - a later AirPort Utility version for an earlier OS X version - but it is correct).

I have already tried following those steps. I went back and tried to follow them again but they did not work. Some of my songs have synced, some have not. If it is asking for a serial number for a previous version then you purchased an upgrade version rather than a standalone version. You should be able to determine this based on the price you paid. If you do not own an earlier version then you need to purchase a full version rather than an upgrade. If you did purchase a full version but acquired an upgrade version then you will need to acquire the full version.

When I use the burn/dodge tool sometimes it drags and staggers and takes forever to complete whatever I'm burning/dodging. When I try to delete an image from the dock, it won't disappear but it won't display either.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Central Cache is the Bridge Cache.
It's referred as the Central Cache to differentiate it from the individual folder's cache or even the individual image cache.
