I need a heat tollerant Mac for my studio

I need a really good mac for my new music studio (to run Logic on). My ancient Mac is a G4 Platinum.
I live in South Australia, and just like New Mexico it get very hot here in the summer. You can expect it to average 38C to 45C for a lot of the hottest part of summer and I know that a lot of computers can't take the heat. We have a pile of dead laptops that attest to that.
If all I wanted was a PC laptop I'd go get a dell M4700 as it is MIL-STD-810G 3rd part tested & compliant to deal with high temperatures, but I need a Mac for this purpose (PC's suck at smooth audio/video).
Although I would prefer a new one, if the best answer is an older model with a different case (and perhaps water cooling) I will deal with it. computer producers seem to want everyone to live inside of an air-conditioned space where the temp is pushed down under 80F. There are a lot of consumer grade laptops that hit 50C just rfom burning a DVD, but are definitely not rated to that temp.
If there was a way to put water cooling on the new Mac Pro (without violating the warranty) that would be my anwser. It really bothers me that

Laptops... waiting for the next die shrink from Intel that will deal with heat better and not need fan.
Broadwell for mobil, but Intel has its IDF conference coming in next week with new generation of Xeon too (though don't hold your breath as to if they will find their way into Mac Pro workstation in early 2015 as can happen as in 2008 and again in 2009 with previous chips)
the Mac Pro is not a laptop. It is a cylinder and it probably is quiet and able to keep it self cool very well - but no system can run cooler than ambient temperature unless it is water-cooled perhaps. Just not the PowerMac G5s! no way. Heat, noise, old and half of liquid cooling units failed. H100 unit in a PC?

Need to Turn On Mac for Sharing on Apple TV?

If I want to share my videos or photos from my Macbook to Apple TV, do I need to turn on my Mac since all my videos/photos are located in the Airport Disk?
If my Mac has to turn on in order to have sharing function, do I need to log in my Mac or can I just let it in standby mode?
Because I want to let my kids to watch the video when I am at work, but my grand ma doesn't know how to turn on a Mac. Then, I can turn my Macbook on and close the lid.

yes, itunes needs to be on and running

itunes needs be active, so your mac needs to be awake.

closing the lid would put it to sleep, thus itunes would no longer be active.

Need advice on new mac for video editing.

Hello! I'm throwing $4,000 down on a new iMac to use for video editing and various other design purposes. I'm maxing it out with a 3.75ghz quad core intel i7, 32 gigs of ram, 4 gigs of video ram and a 1t sold state hard drive. With being a creative cloud subscriber and updates being rolled out constantly, as a video editor do you think i'll get at least 5-7 years out of this mac. I also do 3d animates with after effects and cinema 4d. Thanks! Any advice and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Mac for music studio use

I run a mac dual2Ghz for use in my production companies studio.
I'm going to be upgrading to an intel mac pro... I usually get a top of the line mac so it lasts a number of years. Looking at the macs available at the moment though will I really benefit from the extra power the 3.2Ghz gives over the 2.8Ghz?
I intend to be running large sample libraries (200gig) and running audio applications.
Any help would be appreciated.

From a purely mixing point of view my current 2Ghz mac is fine, it's more the large sample libraries I'm worried.
I need to be able to load a hefty amount of samples and keep the buffers down so I don't get too much latency.

In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

Genieo definitely doesn't help with your router. It's just adware, and has no benefit to you at all. They scammed you so that they could display their ads on your computer.

If you have Lion and wireless you can use Airdrop to copy files back and forth. (You don't need an internet connection, just two reasonably recent Lion machines with WiFi cards.)

I bougnt a full master pack CS6 which I had installed on a mac for one year. Then, I decided to change it to another computer, so I sisintalled it according to instructions. In the meantime I got a free trial of creative cloud on that computer, but I gave up and decided to reinstall my cd-roms. However, everytime I try to use acrobat for instance it says that my trial period ran out! I disinstalled my cloud products, I am using my registered full master series items, they have nothing whatsoever to do with my creative cloud FREE subscription. If I try to cancel my free membership, it is to no avail, there simply is no such possiblity. I want to use the software I paid dearly for, not the cloud items I disinstalled and which do not interest me. How can I contact Adobe to fix it? It was no fault of mine, I did all I was supposed to, disintalling items before installing the right ones, but the system must have some error i am not responsible for.

H.264 video should be supported by your basic Snow Leopard operating system. The DVCPRO HD family of codecs is part of the Apple "Pro" codecs package which is normally installed as part of a "Pro" video editing suite installer or contemporaneously installed separately as part of one of the newer pro editing apps like FCPX. if you already have one of these pro suites or apps installed or available, then re-install the correct codec package that is missing. If not, you will need to purchase a Pro suite or app to be able to install the required codec package.

Need to rebuild Outlook 2011 for mac identity for exporting data file.

I was exporting outlook for mac data file (to import it into apple mail), and suddenly Outlook email client crashed and when I tried again it said that I need to rebuild the Outlook for mac database using rebuild utility. I took help from some professional technicians but it was a dead end. They said that my outlook for mac database was corrupt and they could not help me any further. I had years of emails in outlook for mac that I needed to move to apple mail as I was fed up of these frequently occuring outlook 2011 errors. Please if anyone could help me in this case then it will be very helpful.

Outlook for mac stores archives its data in .olm format and it originally stores its mails in .OLK format. If everything has failed then you can seek help of a tool that can recover these .olk14 messages. One tool I know that is capable of doing so is http://www.outlookmacdatabaserecovery.com/.
Look for the trial version first and see of it works and recovers you emails.

I second LibreOffice as it's the most recent fork, however NeoOffice and OpenOffice will also work.
Just say No money to Redmond!
Also the old Ready Set Go! will be having a Lion version out soon.
It's a low cost page layout program (like Indesign but without the high price) and can make booklets etc better, import the excel grpahics from LibreOffice.
