I need a Lightbox for an external URL - how?

Hello, from Germany,
I would like to show a picture (jpg) that links to an external URL in a Lightbox Window (90% x 90 % size of the screen).
Here is an example... Pls click on a preview picture:

I can´t find a way to manage that.

Frank -- This is why forums are not the best teaching tools! The example I'm speaking of is the lighbox here: http://www.katiescafe.com/home.html -- this is a placed bitmap graphic that when clicked brings up a Lighbox Widget with an embedded YouTube video. Instead of embedding the video you could perhaps embed an iFrame with the URL you're looking to play within the lighbox widget? Easiest way to try this out would be to download the example embed lightbox widget from the Muse Widget gallery, here: http://muse.adobe.com/widget/video-lightbox-embed-widget-ricks. I am not certian how your iFrame will behave with your specfic URL, but you can give this a try. Sorry if you are meaning something different than I'm assuming here.

You can't — at least not if you want to run it in the Mac OS. If you have Winidows installed on your Mac, then of course you can run the Windows version of IE, but the Mac version hasn't been updated since June 2003 and is unsupported by Microsoft. It's very insecure, it can't handle a lot of current web sites, and it may not run at all in recent OS X versions. It was lousy in 2003, and it can't have gotten any better while the world was passing it by.
If there's a web site you want to access that says it requires IE, complain to its webmaster about the benighted design of the site. No responsible web designer codes sites for just one browser any more. Every web site should be tested and should work well with a large variety of browsers — IE, Firefox and Chrome at a bare minimum — and every site owner should insist that their designer(s) adhere to that "best practice."

Need backup software for Seagate external hard drive

I need a little handholding here. I have an iBook G4 running 10.4.10. My husband bought me a Seagate external hard drive to use to back up the hard drive on my iBook. The only problem is that I don't think the external hard drive came with any software. I'm looking for something that I can set once that will automatically back up my hard drive periodically. Does such a thing exist?

Hi there-
Most good backup software allows you to schedule backups. I've tried a number of programs and the two best I've found are SuperDuper and Synk.
Both are very user-friendly--good for simple folks like me.

SuperDuper is my favorite because it easily allows you to "clone" your hard drive, giving you a bootable backup in case the worst happens to your computer and you need to restore everything. It's MUCH faster than reinstalling everything. You need to make sure your external hard drive is capable of being booted from, however.
Synk is also very user friendly and you can try it for 30 days for free. I would highly recommend either of these.

My client wants, Schedule lines to be created in the Production Order Operations.

When setting the midi port for an external device, how do I stop this altering the port setting for a separate external device?

I am using Logic Pro 9.1.7.
I have an EMU sampler set to port D.
And a Roland JV 2080 set to port B.
The ports refer to an external M-Audio Midisport midi interface.
When creating a new track (brand new, not as a duplicate of another) for sounds from the Roland and setting port B in the Inspector, I find this affects certain existing tracks set to port D that are using sounds from the EMU. The latter tracks are converted to port B. I note that only some, not all, tracks are affected.
If I try to change the EMU tracks back to port D, then the Roland track also switches to port D! And so on...
Each device has a 16-channel "instrument" in the Environment (but no virtual wiring anywhere).
Usually, setting channels, banks and programs in the Event List for each track has been able to make things work reasonably well.
Any suggestions that I could explore would be welcome. Thanks.

I haven't checked this with instrument tracks, could it possibly be you have somehow de-selected Universal Track Mode in Preferences/Audio? It should be enabled.

I saw it does work for local SharePoint URL but not too sure for the external URL.
And in that case, is it possible to sort the search result by viewlifetime/viewrecent for both Local SharePoint Sites and External Site from crawler?

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to use viewliftime and viewrecent property when crawing external URL.
Per my knowleage, the viewlifetime and viewrecent property does not apply for external URL from crawling.
In my environment, I can edit the refinement panel in search center page to display viewlifetime and viewrecent when I crawl SharePoint Sites.
However, when I crawl external site, in the search center page, I cannot get any information about the result items.

I can connected outlook form outside but with warning and I can send and receive
and OWA working fine without error or warning and mobile connected without any problem
but the strange thing when press view certificate button I see
certificate issued to: my hosting company but my certificate issued to my domain
and also certificate issued by digicert but my certificate issued by geo cert Trust

The problem has existed since Exchange 2007. That article just illustrates the issue.
