I need a os x full version mac g5 leopard 10.5.8

I need a os x full version, mac g5 leopard 10.5.8 I've been looking around for sometime, but been unable to find anything.

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard installation system requirements

Leopard is no longer available at the Apple Store but may be available by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753).
If you can't obtain a retail install DVD from Apple, look on eBay or Google the installer part numbers to possibly find at an on-line store. Here's what to look for:
MB427Z/A  Leopard 10.5.1 install DVD
MB576Z/A  Leopard 10.5.4 install DVD
MB021Z/A  Leopard 10.5.6 install DVD (single user)
MB022Z/A  Leopard 10.5.6 install DVD (5-user family pack)

Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Installation and Setup Guide

After you install the base 10.5, download & install the 10.5.8 combo update at http://support.apple.com/downloads/Mac_OS_X_10_5_8_Combo_Update
The DVD should look like this
Caution - Leopard does not support classic mode. So, if you currently open OS 9 apps in classic mode, you won't be able to do this if you upgrade to Leopard.

  • Need to download a full version of Adobe Reader 9.1

I need to download a full version of Adobe Reader 9.1... The updates are no good, I need the whole thing to open old documents created in 9.1 on my old PC. Can anyone help ?? (PS : I'm not a big "computer" person, but I do know the original documents were created in 9.1 & won't open in the current version of "Adobe Reader" I just downloaded.)

The current version of Adobe Reader X available from the download site will open PDF files with any previous version number. If you have a file which doesn't open then the file itself is corrupted, or uses legacy code which has been disabled for security reasons.
You can download version 9.1 from the Adobe FTP archive, but we strongly discourage installing it. Adobe has issued a number of security-critical updates since then, and using the old version would place you at risk.

  • Why does it tell me I need to install the full version of flash player when I do have the full version installed.

I'm trying to open a pdf attachment that apparently has flash content in it. When I go to the download page, it says I need to install the full version. We are set up to distribute within our company because part of our network is offline. I assumed what we were downloading is the full version. Is there something else I'm missing?

Downloading from a browser?  If so, what browser?

  • I need to buy an older version mac to run OS9

I need to buy an older version mac to run OS9 for a program,
What would be a good option?
    Thanks

Perhaps the PowerBook G4 (1GHz or 867MHz) model portable Mac, which appears
to have similar OS 9.2 and OS X 10 support as some Quicksilver towers, to a degree.
    M8858LL/A (867 MHz) or M8859LL/A (1.0 GHz) later: Mac OS X 10.2.3 and Mac OS 9.2.2
The towers are superior; upgradeable in hard drives, optical drives, RAM & Graphics.
These can do more, and with separate hard drives, they can support several OSs.
OS X 10.5.8 and Before, and Classic with OS X 10.4.11; and boot OS 9.2.2 with the
original install software shipped with the computer.
For comparing specifications and update information, see http://everymac.com and/or
get information (download database) from http://mactracker.ca and there was some
information in Apple Support hardware specifications for older computer models.
Some resellers specialize in vintage computers and a few better companies repair
them for a living; so they can offer a limited guaranty and offer better goods. I've
heard good reports on http://wegenermedia.com about their service & inventory; as
an authorized service agent, they also can repair newer hardware under warranty.
{However, be sure the computer you want has the correct original software discs
included with the sale, if you hope to run OS9.2.2 and OS X 10.2 or later, in it.
    The software is very hard to find separately, and many sellers do not include it.}
Maybe a portable Mac can be located to perform the tasks you need, but the ideal
could be a tower computer; for overall value of cost vs. benefit, by the numbers...
But that may be a personal call, and not necessarily objective.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • Want to load WindowXP on Mac. Need clarification between OEM & full version

First I am totally new and green. Have had MacBook for 6 mos.- Have learned a lot but can't figure this one. I want to load Windows XP. I have installed Leopard, had the drive partitioned but now need to know which XP I need. I have already purchased an OEM version and was told it would not work. I returned to seller. Now I am not sure of the difference between 1) licensed copy, 2)full version 3)OEM version. What do I need to buy??
    Carolyn525

Most any OEM XP SP2 should work unless it is 'vendor specific' to a particular machine (Dell, etc). The seller should know, most buy from places like Newegg, Amazon etc.
I use Vista System Builder, which is basically your OEM, you don't get Microsoft support and have to provide your own if you run into trouble and have questions is all.
If new to Windows, you may want to need to know to configure, choose which security software you want to use, etc. I settled on Kaspersky Internet Suite after trying a couple others (AVG, Norton 2007/2008).

  • Re Photo Books – Elements 12 brilliant and serves all my need except Photo Books. Do I need to Buy the full version of Lightroom 5 to use the Photo Book facility?

Re Photo Books. Hi I have an old full version of Photoshop 6 and Elements 12. Elements 12 serves pretty well all my editing needs. It has a Photo Book facility but the Template is not brilliant eg It is clumsy adding captions. I have been looking at Lightroom 5 which seems to have a great Photo Book facility but do I have to Buy the full Light Room 5 programme to use it? If so, what is the cost?

    Hi DJ,
Many thanks for your comments on the Adobe Forum about Photoshop for
    Photo Books..
Following your suggestion, I have had a look at Blurb and it seems
pretty good and  quite easy to use. Many thanks for this suggestion. I
have had a look around and I find there are many "publishers" and
although Blurb comes out well in many reviews, there are many others
also. But there is one big problem for me - they ALL produce BOUND Photo
Books but I want a flexible Photo Book where I can later add or change
pages! Nobody I have found produces a book where pages can be printed
separately to be added when and where required in a book!
I have posted another question in the Forum asking if anyone knows of
such a publisher - especially in the UK, where I live.
The reason I want the ability to insert pages etc is for a number of
reasons. For example, I am producing an historical Photo Book but if
friends send me photos of a past era, I want to scan the photos, put
them on a separate page and then insert that page in the appropriate era
in my book or I may later want to enlarge an old photograph already in
the book and insert the enlargement next to the original etc. etc.
I have printed some pages myself using Photoshop Elements, which was not
the ideal tool as I mentioned before, but when the A4 pages were placed
in clear plastic A4 pockets and inserted in my smart presentation Ring
Binder, the result looked brilliant. But I have hundreds of photographs
and I dread to think what the cost of ink would be if I printed them all
    myself, let alone the time!
But I am beginning to think I may after all have to print them myself
and that, as I have several hundred or more, the cost of buying
Lightroom 5 may be worth it in the long run.
Anyway, thanks for coming back to me with your views regarding my
    original enquiry.
    With very best wishes,
    Tony

  • About Apple Aperture 3 Full Version (Mac)

In Apple Aperture 3 for Mac can i be able to PhotoStitch Photos in the Apple Aperture 3 Software? Or can it do PhotoStitching is what I mean? I Bought a 24inch Apple iMac Computer 1 Year ago & i did not get Apple Aperture 3 in My iMac cause i did not choose it i'm thinking of getting it but not for $200 i can get it cheaper on ebay.com cause i'm tight with money at the moment so please tell me what it can do? also I have a Canon PowerShot A2100 IS Digital Camera will it work on Apple Aperture 3? or What kind of Software can i use? please help me,
    From Byron

Does your camera allow you to shoot in Panorama mode? I have a Canon and when I choose that, I can shoot several pictures in a row. Canon supplies the software called Stitch Assist which works on a Mac and it works like a charm. So you have to check if your camera has that capability; if it doesn't, then check out the doubletake as suggested. Aperture will not do any stitch assist; it is only for adjusting photo colors, digitally enhancing, etc. And, be very careful buying something like that on ebay: a great percentage is pirated/fake/illegal - only buy it if it is advertised as a new, still factory shrinkwrapped package. There are several sellers right now who advertise a full version, but only email you a fake/illegal serial number.
Edit: And you don't have to worry about your camera working with Aperture or the Mac - most pictures are in .jpg format. The easiest way is to put the memory card in a USB card reader and using that to transfer the pictures to your computer (saves camera battery wear). I always do that; as soon as I plug in the card reader, I get the icon on the desktop and then pick which pictures I want to keep (drag onto desktop) or throw away. If you temporarily drag them to the desktop, you can then decide which application you want to use (Aperture, iPhoto, or whatever) to adjust colors or whatever.

  • I purchased version 12 for Windows elements and changed on iMAC computer do I need to buy the full versions of the elements 13

I elements12 versions of Windows but now changed to a mac computer and I can not download the purchased version of how to change or upgarde to the elements 13 for mac

Download versions are for one platform only, but that won't matter if you buy an upgrade. However, if you're in the US later this week you'll almost certainly be able to find the full version for much less than adobe's upgrade price, at big box stores and online retailers.

  • Do I need to install CS4 full version before installing CS5 upgrade?

New hard drive in iMac. I have a full version of CS4 design premium and an upgrade version of CS5. Do I have to install both? Or can I just install CS5 upgrade and somehow use my CS4 full serial number to validate the CS5?

You have the right idea.  You do not have to install CS4.  At some point during installation of CS5 you will be required to enter the serial number for CS4 in order to confirm it as a valid upgrade installation

  • Do I need to buy the full version of lightroom 4 after using the trial

I am not sure if I purchase the full version or the upgrade

If you have owned a previous qualifying version then you would purchase the upgrade.  If this is your first purchase of Lightroom then you would want to purchase the full version.

  • Urgent!! - Adobe CC crashes during the "extracting " process for Photoshop, need to install the full version of , without passing trough CC

I need urgent support because Adobe CC crashes after the "extracting " process of an app. So if i choose to download an application ( Muse, Photoshop etc ) it downloads, and after that it crashes, is there any support available ?
    Thanks,

Problem solved, it is the firewall who blocked the installation, everything works fine now!

  • How do I download a full version of Firefox to intall offline on a computer that has only dialup internet access

I need to download the full version of Firefox files to be copied to a flash or other drive then installed on a machine which only has dial up internet access. The dial up takes too long to download the files necessary for the installation.

For anyone trying to download the latest version of the full Firefox installer, go to this link where you can choose your language and version and can download the offline installation file:
If that doesn't work for you (non-US downloads), on the download page beneath the green box that says: ''Firefox Free Download'', click on the link that says: "Systems and Languages" - this should take you to the appropriate page.
    Good luck...

  • How to install a "full" version of HTMLDB

    Hi,
I've downloaded Oracle Express and I like the simplicity of the installation and setup. However the "version" of HTMLDB / Application Express has some differences from the full one available online. Particularly the Workspace concept.
I really need to have a full version since I'll be having more then 1 developer working on an application. This doesn't seem to be possible in the version that comes with Oracle XE.
I'd like to remove the current version and install the full HTML DB available online. Anyone know how I can do this?
    Thanks,
    Martin

So the concept of the Workspace is dead?Well, the concept of a workspace is still there, but implicit only. Once an existing database user connects to http://localhost:8080/apex for the first time (e.g. HR), an implicit workspace is created on the fly. An Apex user for this workspace is created too, by copying the credentials of the database user to this workspace. This user is automatically created as the administrator of this workspace.
The most noteworthy differences between Apex 2.1 (bundled with XE) and Apex 2.0 (standalone) are:
    1) No explicit administrators or developer accounts
    2) Only one schema per workspace, you cannot assign more schemas to a workspace.
How can I allow multiple developers to work on the
same application then?Well, since you cannot share components across workspace (subscription feature) I tend to organize as many applications in a single workspace as possible (related applications operating on common data).
I guess I would create a single developer schema that has access to all related objects in different schemas (if necessary). Set it up using synonyms and grants.
All developers would log in to Apex/XE using this developer account.
    My personal suggestion ;),
    ~Dietmar.

  • Change from Office Test Drive to Full Version without losing files

So my trial is almost up and I need to download the full version. In browsing earlier discussions, it seems there are a few different ways to uninstall Test Drive - how should I do it so that none of the Word docs I saved get lost?
    Thanks!

is there anything in particular i should do to save/transfer my office documents to NeoOffice?
Just open them with NeoOffice and it should be fine.
Note that if you thereafter need to send a document to a use of Microsoft Office, you'll want to make sure that NeoOffice saves it in an Office-compatible format (the default document format isn't Office-compatible, and I can't find a way to reset that default format though there may be an option I'm missing).
