I need a recommendation for a slick way to embed audio

I am doing a Muse makeover of a Church website. Each week, there is a new audio recording of a sermon to add to the site.
Can someone recommend a slick way to add and archive audio recordings into a Muse site?
Thanks

I need a recommendation for a 24" professional photography monitor for my late 2013 MacBook Pro.  I am looking for a monitor that plays well with my 13" late 2013 Macbook pro.  I tryed the Dell U2413 and found after the fact that it did not work well with my Macbook pro.  Read up on the Asus PA 249Q, It also seems to have problems with my Macbook Pro.  Apple display is larger than i want.  Looking for recommendations for compatable IPS monitor for use with Aperture. buget is $300 to $800.
    Anybody happy with thiers?
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9), Aperture 3.5.1

Any monitor will work. Decide what specs work best for your needs and get that monitor.

Bought a flight simulator and would like to use a joystick. Need a recommendation for a decent device compatible with a MacAir.

Thanks, Sig.  I think I should've been a little clearer.  I've attempted to do the updates on my Mac, but I get a warning that it will erase everything except calenders, email, etc from the iPad.  I've syned the iPad with the Mac with no problem, but get scary messages when I try to do the latest update.

  • I need a recommendation for SAN (Actually NAS) ethernet switches.

Hi, we have one Dell blade chassis with 8 servers ----  connected to stacked switches (3750) with EtherChannels ----  to NetApp (Controller 1 and 2 accordingly). Unfortunately, Dell blade servers only supports 1Gbps for port and NetApp also supports 1Gbps for each port (ports are all ethernet, not FC)
    Questions
    1) What kind of switch do you recommend? I know that it is not popular to use ethernet in SAN  I just recognized that we have NAS, what do you recommend switches for NAS?
not SAN, so any MDS 9000 series don't work because it supports limited ethernet ports (many FC ports). I need many ethernet ports at least 48 ports from each switch. I know Nexus is one of candidates, but want to double check.
    2) Most of vendors ask what kind of connection I have. I said usually just ethernet, not FC, not FCoE. Is it right?    I believe that since I found NAS, it is "Ethernet"
    3) The reason that I am looking for different switches is there are huge packet dropped (outbound) in switches (outgoing toward both dell servers and netapp; incoming is ok) We recently moved PtoV so, it is possible that traffic volume was increased. But output doesn't give me lot of information like below. Do you have any recommendation for further t-shoot?

  • Need Hardware Recommendations for FMS2

I am having a FMS2 enabled site and application built and
would like ideas on the best server setup/specs to run the site
smoothly. I expect maximum users at any one time on the site at
    about 600 with about 400 concurrent FMS2 users. I will have 4
"rooms" with one way video and audio feeds (1 to many) and as many
as 100, (1 to 1) connections. Although I am more familiar with
xServe, I would prefer to use Linux servers if possible. I have 100
megs of local bandwidth for serving out the content. Am I better to
go with fewer, more robust servers or more servers with less
individual processing power? How much memory per server works best
in your experience? Although Adobe's materials do dot suggest that
load balancing is needed at my size, should I look into load
balancing hardware anyway? All suggestions are most welcome.

To come up with some working numbers, let's assume you'll
have the following application instances running, and all of your
audio/video streams are set at a bitrate of 128kbps:
    A) 4 rooms with 1 to many broadcast, each with a single
broadcaster being viewed by 100 people -and-
    B) 100 2 way chat rooms, each having two users both
    sending/receiving audio and video
    For part A, we'll have a total of 404 streams (400 receiving
and 4 broadcasting). At 128kbps, your 404 streams will consume
    about 50Mbps of bandwidth.
For part B, we'll have a total of 400 streams (100 rooms each
with two broadcasting streams and two receiving streams), so,
    there's another 50Mbps.
So, we have a total of 804 streams consuming 100mbps...
assuming you stick with 128kbps. If your video will be sized at
160x120, you might get away with that bitrate, but if you want a
larger image, you'll likely want to increase the video rate to
    265kbps or better.
Given the volume, I'd opt to deploy the app across two, or
maybe even three servers if the budget allows (single processor
Xeon machines with 2gb of RAM should do nicely).
For you OS choice, FMS is rock solid on RHEL 3.

  • Need tablet recommendation for use with CS6 and a Mac Mini

    Hello all,
I'm running CS6 on a Mac MIni with OS X 10.8.3.  I want to start learning graphic design entry on Illustrator and Photoshop and all I've read indicates use of a tablet is de rigueur.  Can anyone recommend a medium to top-end tablet that is compatible with the Mac Mini and CS6?  Apple's site only shows the Wacom Bamboo Splash tablet but doesn't give any hint whether it would work with the Adobe tools.
    Thanks,
    Kevin H.

Actually it depends on how you like to work and what exactly you're after.
Illustrator can be used with a mouse only when you do just construction work, like using the shape tools, the pen tool, pathfinder functions, transformations and all those other tools that serve the need for exact results.
In case you'd like to draw stuff intuitively like doing water color, calligraphy,  sketching then you would definitely need a tablet.
A tablet can also replace a mouse in case you want to reduce a strain on your hand, arm and fingers. Some people prefer styluses in this case.
Is any of these the case for you?

  • I need a recommendation for a good word processor

i have two macs at home which are fully converted to pages and keynote. my family has now fully converted from using clunky office 2004 to iwork. i bought a used ibook g3 for $275 and i thought i could use it for writing essays at school. and its pretty light at 4.9lbs after all (well it's the lightest mac around). i installed iwork thinking it could run smoothly. i found out that when i begin typing, the words take forever to print on the screen. it gets even slower while moving paragraphs around. so now i thought i would have to run word 2k4. that's no problem since i have been used to using word for years. well, as a matter of fact, i can't stand word one bit. pages is just so much better and cleaner, i simply can't take the user interface MS has built. since i am on a 12in screen, the Word window is awkward and clunky. so, i am now thinking of getting appleworks, but that software is older than panther, so i dont know how powerful it really is.
if anyone can recommend me a good app for just writing essays, please tell me. is there a way to make pages run faster, or make word look better? thanks, gabe.
what i am doing now is using word to type and copying everything to pages so it can be formatted better. its pretty slow, annoying but it gets the job done.

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
For your G3 iBook, I recommend AppleWorks 6. You should have received the original disks with that iBook & those disks include AppleWorks. If you didn't get them & can't get them from the seller, you could call Apple & ask for a replacement set of original disks. There will be a small charge, but I'd consider it worthwhile just to have a set of the originals. If you want to buy AppleWorks 6, try eBay and do a search for "AppleWorks" or "Apple Works" (some people put a "space" in the name).

Can anyone recommend a good music management program for the Mac that will allow me to tag and rename all my mp3 files in bulk mode? Thank you.

  • Need some recommendations for K8N Neo Platinum

Well I am real psyched about my k8N Neo Platinum coming on tuesday which wi8ll be coupled with a Althon64 3200+ and I want to go ahead and purchase some RAM and possibly a heatsink and was looking for some suggestions. First of all I won't be overclocking my system much if any at all bare in mind. I am looking at getting one stick of 512 for now since money isn't exactly flowing right now and am looking to spend at the MAX $150. Correct me if I am wrong but I am probably going to just go with the PC3200 since I am not doing any huge overclocks.  Here is some of the ones I was looking at:
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series PC-3200 - $141
    Kingston HyperX 184 Pin 512MB DDR PC-3200 - $141
Please provide other suggestions if you have them, I was leaning towards the Corsair.
As far as the heatsink goes I know several people on here use the  ZALMAN CNPS7000A which looks pretty darn nice to me because it is so quiet but do I really need something like this since I won't be overclocking? I am tempted to get it just because it is so quiet, that's something I am trying to do this time since my current computer is 10ft tall and sounds like a lawn mower. I got the Antec Sonata case with the big 120mm ehxaust fan to help out the cause. Thanks for any help.

Yeh I have been there and the only reason I am not getting it from there is that they are out of stock. So I was going to get it from Directron.com but I noticed that apparently have two all copper Zalman's the CNPS7000 and the CNPS7000A. I suppose I'll just get the "A" version since that is the one they have on NewEgg. Now just have to lock down my memory choice and I am all set.
My bad I just went out and checked the picture for the 7000A on Directron and it clearly has aluminum in it, they just didn't mention it in the description. I'll just have to see if it is worth it for the extra 8 bucks to get the all copper one.
