THere's generally some type of default notification for a missed call - I'm not sure the point though, if you're not with your phone to hear it ring then how are you going to hear the missed call notification?

Try resetting your phone, hold the home and sleep/wake button down until the apple symbol comes up, then release. If that doesnt work, you may have damaged your phone and need to take it to an apple genius bar.

Have the same problem with one room in my house. The good news; my internet provider told me about a device which boosts the signal through the the houses wiring. You plug the sender into an electrical outlet and your USB output, the receiver / transmitter you plug into an outlet in the room with the poor signal and use Wi-Fi as always. It priced in around $30 to $40. The bad news; I just don't remember what it was called, but I'm sure if contact your provider or local electronics store, discribe what your looking for they can hook you up with the needed hardware. YOu can't use the whole song for a ringtone, you would have to create one 30 second or less.
YOu can download an app to create the ringtone.

I recently upgraded my hard drive from the original 80gb to a MomentusXT 500gb Hardrive. Check that you still have the default profile as listed in the file profiles.ini as Default=1.
If profiles.ini is present, but the profile that is marked in profiles.ini as Default=1 is missing then delete profiles.ini to make Firefox create a new default profile.

You can try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download the iTunes installation

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

- Another cable
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Select the compound clip and do Clip->Break Apart Clip Items (or Cmd-Shift-G).

Although all of the scenarios may be applicable, many folks find that the following section helps resolve their issue most often:
Authorize using the correct account name
The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.
