I need a turn by turn navigation for my 4s apple

Does anyone know if I can download a turn by turn navigation for my apple iPhone 4 s? I had vz navigator for my droid and use it ALOT for business. But now with the new phone I'm lost!

I use Tomtom and have been happy with it.

There is no pre-installed "turn by turn" navigation app for the iPhone, at the present. If you're looking for such in the stock Maps app, that's why it doesn't work.

Ok well the subject pretty much asks my question. I wanna add a line to my verizon account but I wont be able to pay for the phone and deposit until Thursday. Does anyone know if I need to pay with a credit card when i select my preorder and setup for pickup at my local apple store? I know that when i preordered my ipad I set it up online for pickup at my local apple store, when i got to the store I paid and it was reserved for me. Was wondering if thats how this will be setup. I work nights also until 7AM so i cant just wait and see what happens and It will take me 30 min to get to a local verizon store one thursday morning coming from work. I reserved mine this morning, and got the confirmation email. At no time did it ask me for any payment info, and as of now there are no charges or holds placed on my card. I am assuming you simply pay for it at time of pickup; they don't charge you ahead of time, that way if you fail to pick it up by the time they close on the 10t; they can sell it to someone else the following day.

Then I got a phoney call from the "microsoft technicians, so called Applecare and they told me what files to search for if it was Safari and suggested I contact Firefox. WOOO! Finally! Free Turn-by-turn navigation GPS on...

At last! The latest Ovi Suite (3.0 beta) is finally allowing me to download the Turn-By-Turn navigation for Ovi Maps.
I think this might have been available for a while directly on my phone, but I never got around to doing it manually on the phone due to poor data rates.

Need to turn off iMessage for an iPhone that no longer works

My daughter broke her iPhone and the motherboard is fried. We got her an Android as a temporary phone until she is due for an upgrade in a few months. The problem is that when we try to text her on the new Andriod, on our iPhones (and any other iPhone that tries to text her) it still sends as an iMessage. Therefore she cannot receive any texts from us unless we turn off our iMessage (which causes us not to be able to receive other iMessages of course!). We went to the Sprint store, and they told us that we would need to turn off the iCloud for her phone, since Apple is recognizing it as still on and associated with her number. I cannot figure out how to do that since we can't access the phone settings. She is traveling this week alone with other family and I really need to be able to text her! She is 12. I appreciate any help.
This is an iPhone 4, with Sprint. We have 3 other iPhones, an iPod 4 and an iPad 2 on the same Apple ID account. We don't use the Cloud storage but I think the iCloud on the phone was turned on for a few things like Calendar.

She would have had to register the phone using her Apple ID/password.
Changing her Apple ID password is the only other way to fix this if you don't have access to the phone.
You can also "try" calling AppleCare.

If restarting Mac or reinstalling OS X does not correct this symptom, you likely have a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for service.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
