I need an activation number.

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me. I've been given an unused copy of CS4 Web Premium. It came with all the packaging etc but no activation number?? Does anyone know how I could get one?

Thanks for getting in touch. The software was given to me by a friend. He was sent an activation email but that was back in 2009, so he's obviously deleted it. Also this was sent to his university email address of which he no longer has access to. Is there anything else you can suggest?

I think, you are looking for master data sources(text,attributes,hier).Am i right?
If so, This cube has almost all SD master data characterstics. So you can activate all the all master data datasources of SD in r/3 (SD-IO).
Any way you requirement does not stop only by using this cube . You will activate all other cubes in SD also. So if you want to activate only needed master data datasources when you are activating a cube, the job becomes senseless. There is no problem(wrong) in activating all master data available under that application , even though you want to activate only one cube.

Service PO for more than one activity number

Hi Experts,
    I'm working on service process, my client requirement is to create a Service PO, SES and Invoice using BAPI's.
    While creating Service PO using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 with
    Item cat 'D' and Acc *** Cat 'P' and more than 1 activity number at the services level,
    service PO is getting created only for the 1st activity and not for the rest of the items.
Can you please help me in solving this issue.

The profile you would need would look something like this:
Object Type: P
Object ID: <blank>
Maint flag: not checked (for display access)
Eval Path: <blank>
Status Vector: <blank> (though the system will probably set it to 12 anyway)
Function Module: <The name of your function module that returns the second pern of the current user as type HROBJECT. See standard module RH_GET_MANAGER_ASSIGNMENT for an example>
This profile can then be used to grant users access to their "second PERNR".

While creating service Purchase Order with reference to service purchase requisition, user change the service activity number adopted from the purchase requisition. How to restrict this.

   If you maintain the field as display only at service level, the same will be as display only for all users and you cant create PO with service number without reference documents like PR.
   If you want to restrict the service number change for only some users, then you may go for a transaction variant. You may create a transaction variant for ME21N using SHD0 transaction and maintain the service number as display only as shown below.
   Assign the variant for the required user ID's. Refer the link: Learning SHD0 with Example
   If you want to restrict the service number change, only in case the PO is created from PR; then you need to go for development and write the logic accordingly. You may check the BAdI: ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

Software activation codes are provided by the software producers, so you need to check with the site you downloaded the app from.

I can't deactivate Adobe because desktop crashed. Need serial # activated on laptop.

I can't get Adobe to work on my laptop because Adobe is saying I have it loaded on 2 others computers. The computer I had it on has crashed twice. I can't get into that computer to deactivate anything. I need the serial number released so I can use Adobe on my laptop. How do I make this happen?

Adobe won't give me an activation number for CS2 re-install

Ugh, I am not a happy camper since Adobe was purchased by Macromedia.
I switched from Quark to Indesign. From the very beginning there was an issue downloading the new product (CS2) Studio.
It took hours many hours to get the support I needed to acutally finally launch and use the product even though they had my money for 2 months.
I only use InDesign infrequently at home for a particular project.
Recently, when launching recently, there was a error message stating some fonts and CMAP was missing
and suggested that I reinstall the product. Ok, that happens, went through the long download process (9 files.)
When I reinstalled, a required activation number was needed to make the product launch. After several calls to India, then US and back to India, etc, being passed around I was on hold for a total of over an hour, Adobe tells me they no longer have the "patch" needed to activate the software package Indesign CS2 Studios and I must pay $500 of whatever the fee is for an update.
In short, They would not give me the required activation number to make the product work and said that I must upate a program that I originally paid $1200 for.
I have been purchasing software for many years and I must say this is a first. and ....excuse me but what a bunch of bull.
Sounds like Adobe has become way to big and more interested in the bottom dollar than decent customer support of thier products even in this down economical time.
If there is a way to activate this program that I purchased, please let me know. I guess going back to Quark is an option......

Wondering who to contact as I now spoken with 5 different customer service reps since the 30 day trial came to an end on our CS2 Design Premium package. We had to reinstall it when the computer's hard drive failed. 30 days ago we contacted support as we couldn't get it activated. Was told to expect an email within 48 hours. Never received it. The user forgot about, until he no longer could use the program - that was Friday. I spoke with 3 customer service reps that morning - including one supervisor who hung up on me mid-sentence. We were promised again that an email would be coming in 24-48 hours resolving our issue. Well, it's over 48 hours now, so I called again - had to speak with 2 reps again - the first one told me they no longer activate CS2 and my only option is to upgrade - not an option! (buggy program "upgrade", extremely slow and expensive!) - I asked how long ago they stopped sending out links - she said they stopped 3-4 days ago - how convenient! Why was I promised then? I asked to speak with a supervisor - she said I had to call back as he was on a call. I called back and spoke with another gentleman who even after reading my case number notes, and me explaining the situation, tried 2 times to activate it for me - of course it didn't work - he again promised me an email within 24 hours to get this activated - once again - I am NOT holding my breath and am absolutely fed up and disgusted with Adobe. Why can't this be resolved???? We cannot be forced into purchasing an inferior product that decreases our productivity because it is so buggy and bloated.

Work Order Operation Duplicated on Operation/Activity Number

I had a coworker duplicated his activity number on a operation. He hit save after he had changed the operation number. Now it is giving an error "Inconsistent data: Order 20066826 02/11/2008, duplicate entry U 0125. This had only happened once before and I tecoed/business completed the work order. Then told them to create a new order. But this one, has important information in it, so I was asked to save this order.
Any way to renumber the operation or delete it, or just get in the work order itself? I get this error in change or display.

What you describe should not have happened, and in 11 years of consulting on SAP Plant Maintenance I can only recall having seen this kind of problem once previously. It's not a very easy problem to resolve. There are a couple of suggestions I can make, neither of which are particularly easy or straighforward:
1. Raise an OSS message with help.sap.com to see if they are aware of the problem and have an ABAP that you can download that will correct or delete the database entries. I have done this successfully previously but whether they have an off the shelf solution for this will depend on which version you are on and which tables have corrupted entries in them.
2. Get an ABAPer to look at the problem and produce an ABAP program to correct the entries internally. It wouldn't need to be a particularly complex program, only a few lines, but some analysis would be needed to ensure that all of the affected table entries are corrected as the work order operations are split across several tables.
Sorry but there is not really an easy answer to this one.

Displaying activity number in CK13n/ck11n

Hi guys,
My client wants to see activity numbers maintained in service master records in CK13n. I can see activity number in itemization under costs tab however it is not populated with activity numbers. Do I need to maintain some settings for the same?

We recently did an upgrade also. This was not one of our problems.
Three suggestions:
1 - when you look at the Costing structure in CK11n, select ALL ITEMS and review the quantity of the activity. If the quantity is wrong review the routing, its settings and the formulas in the work center.
2 - If the qty is right, you need to review costing data, including the activity prices. analyze the costing structure and the itemization make sure your know where ever number came from.
3 - if you still don't find something to fix the cost, go to a test system and build a test material from scratch - we found in the upgrade that sometimes an "X" in a field means something different than it use to. that not all bits convert as expected.
One thing I have learned for sure about SAP cost - there is master data or configuration for EVERY number it calculates, you just have to find it.
Hope some piece of this helps.

Wrong Operation number(Activity Number) showing in Production Order

I have created a production order.
Wrong Operation number(Activity Number - RESBD-VORNR) is showing for some of the Production Order components(all are phantom components only) where as the activity number in its Routing components (RCM01-VORNR) is different. So we need to change the activity to correct activity manually in change production order screen(CO02)
I found one SAP Note 104322 - Error in reallocating phantom (When reallocating phantom components in a production order to another operation, different errors can occur:
-- not all dependent components are allocated to the correct operation). We are on ECC 5.0 . This note already exists in our system
This issue happened only with one BOM . Many other BOMs ( similar type) donot have this issue.
Can some one from the group help me to resolve this issue?

I am just a bit confused if you are talking about wrong operation nos. or wrong activity nos. If I am correct, it should be wrong operation nos. which fetches the activities that are defined in that work center.
If wrong operation nos. is getting selected then
Please check if the system is configured with alternative sequence under T.Code: CA01 for a particular group & group counter (just in case you are using nos. of routings for the single material).
If yes, then check if you have defined priority of the sequence i.e. in which order it has to taken.
If yes, further check if you have aligned automatic routing selection depending upon the B.O.M. alternatives in routing itself.
Just in case you have maintained any of these the routing will get automatically selected depending upon the priority that is given to work center and hence different operation nos.

Why do I need a serial number to run photoshop when I just purchased a cloud subscription?

Just paid for a monthly photoshop subscription, but it's telling me I need a serial number to run it and doesn't seem to be recognizing that I already paid for it? The transaction went through fine, I got a confirmation email saying I bought it.

may be the subscription is not activated yet.
However , we will try with 2 steps.
First we will check with Hosts file .
1)Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for file named hosts inside etc folder.
2)Copy the hosts file to Desktop and open the same with notepad.

HELP! Lost of Iphone...in need of IMEI number.

I lost my Iphone 4s and I need the iMei number to trace. Currently Im still tracing under Find My iPhone App using iPad. THAT fellow actually off my phone at my last location. So I cant detect until the mobile is on. Thus another way of solving will be through IMEI number which i need to hand it over to the police! How can i get the iMei number? It was swapped with Singtel as due to previous phone is faulty and replaced. So the box that originally does not have the new iMei. Can I use Itune? As previously, I did sync into iTunes before.
