I need an align all notes on the beat function

Hello friends,
As a fellow GB musican composer, I was wondering if any of you wish there was a funtion that aligned all notes onto the nearest tempo beat line (if you know what I mean). I use a g 4 dual processer with 1 gig of ram and yet when I play the keyboard using musical typing all my notes are recorded slightly off the beat I suppose due to computer delay. I just wrote a nice five minute song and now the work I have to do to make it all playback in correct time is a consuming process but its ok i love to work and work to love.

I am a newbie; your advice was so helpful. I've probably stared at that button for months not knowing or involving it in the creation process.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes includes Notes.and other app data. However, it does not included synced media like apps and music.
Thus, just restore from backup with all your synced media in your iTunes library.

Hi All,
When I try to activate the DTP the following error occurs."the application could not execute the required function".
I was able to activate the DTP for the same DataSource 2 days back but now I am unable to activate .

If you have transformation, check it is active. Is the object 0plant is acitve or not?

I have a similar problem. I found out that my macbook air created a new USER with my former's computer user name. You can check that by going into System Preferences -> User & Groups, and see if a "Other user" has been created. You have to login under this new USER to find your transferred contacts in the address book.
My problem is that I do not know how to merge the 2 USER logins or transfer the data from the new USER created into the existing one.

We run 2 servers at work and both have sites with legacy ASP.
We just upgraded to DW CS3 and now I get this error message when I

Need Help! "Could not locate the resource file in the Configuration folder."

I had just purchased and installed Adobe Crerative Design Suite last night. Every program works except Dreamweaver, which gives me the error message:"Could not locate the resource file in the Configuration folder. This File is required to run Dreamweaver. Please reinstall the application". I am suspicious because the was a previous version of Dreamweaver on the computer before this installation, but I unistalled it. I do not understand why I get this message. Is there a file somewhere that is missing or at faut. How can I remedy this? Thanks

Your posted resources worked for me. Thank you! After many attempts (to include Adobe's overseas call canter) to resolve the same installation and run errors, I used your suggested steps and I finally have a clean and running install. I did have to take a few extra steps;
First I downloaded both Cleaning scripts. For CS4 & CS3.
Next I downloaded Windows installer/cleaner. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and that is a required installed program to run Adobe's cleaning script.
Once I was sure I had all the programs/scripts I needed (per your instructions and the instructions found on the Cleaning scripts site) I disconnected my computer from the Internet.
Then I disabled all running programs especially all Anti-virus and firewall programs and any others that have calls of any kind: i.e. Boinc (Seti), Skype, email programs (Windows Live Mail), etc.
Next I uninstalled all CS4 products and even though I was told that Macromedia Studio MX 2004 can stay installed (read that on one site and the overseas Tech also reinforced that information) I uninstalled MX 2004.
I then rebooted and installed the Windows installer/cleaner program and ran the Adobe CS4 cleaner script twice.
After another reboot I installed Dreamweaver CS4 first, rebooted (can't reboot enough with Windows!) and, yes you guessed it, rebooted.
I then attempted to open Dreamweaver CS4 and for the first time it ran without the error!
I then installed Adobe Ps CS4 and rebooted and that work for the first time as well.
I can't say for sure if Macromedia Studio MX 2004 caused the install errors on the Adobe products but without it and ALL that uninstalling and rebooting and running cleaning scripts and installing and rebooting, Adobe finally felt my computer was clean enough to call it home and work.
Thank you again for your information and I suggest if anyone else finds their way here that they follow your instructions to the letter. Takes a long time but a proper and clean install will be the result.

Support package stacks: Do we need to import all SP in the stack?

Hi all.
We are about to import Support Package Stack 13 into our ERP 6.0 system. The SPS includes a lot of support packages for software components such as IS-OIL, IS-UT and other IS-* components.
These components are inactive in our system, and are not used. However, I know that the recommendation is to import the complete stack.
I am therefore having some doubts if it is wise to import the IS-* related support packages.

However, I would like to ask if the only argument is to follow SAP recommendation? What risks are we running if we do not implement the IS component support packages?
As the IS-* components are not active, I don't see how not importing these support packages will cause "inconsistence" in the system. Also, it would reduce the total number of support packages that needs to be included.
I am generally positive to following SAP's recommendations, but in this case we are are in a situation where we need to lift the SAP system from SPS 8 to SPS 13 in one operation. That includes a massive amount of support packages, and possibly a lot more time than the timeframe we have available.

With so little Available storage space, you are risking poor operation of the iPad. You should free up more space.

Need FB app, but not via the cloud

Hi. I recently upgraded to the iPhone 6 and I am having trouble loading the Facebook app onto it. I had the app on my previous iPhone, so it is stored in my cloud. I no longer have the old email address to access the version on Facebook that is in my cloud, so I am needing to load the app from someplace other than my cloud. I am not given the option to do this when I go in and try to load the app. I have temporarily worked around this issue by accessing Facebook from the web, but it is not the same as logging in through the app itself, and does not offer any sort of notification feature when doing it this way. Does anyone know how I can upload Facebook onto my new phone but NOT via the cloud?

I am not able to download it by just going to the app store. It indicates it is in my cloud, and that is where it is pulling it from. Specifically, the issue I run into when I download it is that when it asks me to enter my password, it is asking for it under my previous account, which I no longer have an email address for since the account has been deleted. Since the old data in the cloud has my old email address, it will not allow me to access it.

Hopefully I can explain this without confusing anyone. We now have 2 iPads, 2 iPhones, and 2 iPods. 1 iPad, and 1 iPod is clouded together 1 iPhone is its own cloud and the rest we just bought and have not clouded them yet. We are wanting all devices on the same cloud so we can all be linked together for all devices. However can we reassign each device so that they all share the same everything and still keep the apps that are on the phones and pods? Please help!

1 - Ok, to put notes onto your nano, you'll first need to enable it for disk mode. When it's plugged in, go into iTunes, and open up iPod preferences. Check the "Enable disk use" box.
2 - In your Windoze file browser (what you click on files in), locate your iPod, which should be located in My Computer. Open that up, and locate the notes folder. That is where you can put any notes, in the form of text files, that you want.
3 - Make the notes. iPods only recognize plain text and html files. So, when you open the text file up in a word processor, make sure to save it as a plain text file (.txt extension). Then, just drag it onto your iPod.
In disk mode, your iPod will need to be ejected before you unplug it from your computer. Right click on it (in your My Computer folder) and click "Eject"

Help needed with application: "could not find the main class"

I am pretty new to java and am trying to figure out applications a bit now. The one im working on does run within my editor, but when i "test" it or try to run it from within a .jar file it returns a "could not find the main class" error.
I have a code similar to this:

Does this have to do with it? I've been trying to get this right for a couple of days now, I just wanna be able to run it (on either my pc or another) without starting the Editor.

It sounds like you are missing the Main-Class attribute in your manifest file. Create a file 'manifest.mf' with the following line 'Main-Class: user'
Then include that manifest in your jar:
'jar -cfm user.jar manifest.mf user.class'
Then run the jar: 'java -jar user.jar'
