I need an app to lock my messaging and e-mails. does anyone know of one?

I love my iphone but on my droid I could download apps to password protect certain apps. Is anyone aware of an app I can download to do the same to my messaging and emails?

Go to Settings > General > Restrictions > choose a passcode, go down to "Accounts", and select "Don't Allow Changes".
This makes it so that people who might come into possession of your phone cannot log you out of your email, Apple ID, Twitter account, etc.

Well, Brinda, currently there is no way to lock your messages or folders except by using a basic passcode lock on the phone itself.
For dilevery reports, you need at least iOS 5 and go to settings > messages. It is only possible to get these reports for messages sent to other i-devices.
As far as a spam folder, could you elaborate?

A first generation iPod touch can't be updated past 3.1.3. If it's a newer model, update it from iTunes on a computer, and if possible, the one it normally syncs with.

and - check with Adobe - would strongly suspect you need to upgrade CS. Strongly consider Creative Cloud, access to the entire TypeKit alone is amazing.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

Have you had the opportunity to use a Palm PDA. It's Contacts/Calendar has many features that the built in apps do not address. e.g significant dates can be set to remind every week, month, or year without having to enter them manually. It can set up categories that can tie events/contacts together and can be sorted in different ways and searched in those ways. This is just a sample of its functionality.

The 2010 MBPs came installed with either 10.6.3, or 10.6.4 later in their lifespan. Earlier versions of the OS may not have the correct drivers for the Mac's hardware.
Ultimately, you might be better off upgrading your copy of Pro Tools, or updating the Mac to Yosemite and running Logic Pro X.

A DVD caame with the printer. Why not use it? Lost it, just d/l another copy from Canon. It' free.
But the best is Photoshop Elements.

I was able to get my Apple TV working again by downgrading the firmware following the instructions in this message:

In case that message disappears, here's my translation:
1. Connect your Apple TV to your computer via USB. Don't plug in the power cable.
2. Download the older 5.0.2 firmware from Apple here:
5.0.2 (Apple TV 2): AppleTV2,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
5.0.2 (Apple TV 3): AppleTV3,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
3. Open iTunes and select the Apple TV. Hold down the option key and press the restore button at the same time.
4. In the dialog that opens select the firmware that you downloaded.
5. The restore process will take a few minutes. Once it's done plug your Apple TV back into your TV. If the date and time message persists just press the menu button to skip it. This got mine working again.

My I-phone 4 froze when I was trying to sync some music to it tonight from i-tunes. I lost all my contact info, apps and most importantly photos. I had just returned from a vacation to the mountains and had 200 or so photos that are now lost I really would like to know if there is any way to retrieve them because I hadn`t uploaded them to my computer yet. I am looking to give ipads to contestant participants and need a way to automatically lock the device once the set duration (measured in days, weeks, months or years) is complete. Does anyone know of an iPad app that locks the device after a period longer than 24 hours (ike most parental control apps)??
