I need an Exorcist for my iPhone

Hi,
I've had an iPhone since the original one came out. A few months ago I upgraded to a 3GS and it has been fantastic until a couple of weeks ago when a poltergeist seems to have taken over it.
First, it was just not recognized by my MacBook Pro. Nothing, no charging, not showing up in iTunes, nothing. Re-starting the iPhone didn't do anything. I sorted it out by restarting the MacBook while being connected to the iPhone. This has happened three times now.
Second, the volume in the iPod application was unresponsive. When I tried to manually increase (or decrease) the volume by sliding with my finger, the bar started to flicker. I could change the volume with the headset and the lateral button, no problem, BUT the bar didn't change even if the volume was being changed. Sorted by re-starting the iPhone. It has happened twice already.
Third, today I went for a walk and suddenly realized that I could not listen to my music. Nothing came out of the speaker or the headphones, even if the volume cold be changed. Then I realized that it was just not playing anything as the counter wasn't moving even if the icon on the bottom bar indicated that something was playing. Sorted by re-starting...
So, I either need an exorcist (which may be expensive) or a hand from you guys, which I would rather have.

I sadly had the same issue this week. Monday, I brought the "soundless" iPhone 3G to the Genius bar at the Apple store. As usual they were very helpful and restarted the phone. It seemed to work, and then on the way home lost sound and iPod function again. I then restored the phone and set it up as a "new iPhone" as per instructed by the Genius and it did not fix the issue. When I brought it back yesterday they *were not able to figure out what was causing this problem*. I was told I could buy a replacement for $199 being that it was no longer under warranty. Luckily, I was good for an upgrade with AT&T-- so I went for the 3GS.
My concern is could it be a software issue? Perhaps to do with the 3.1.3 firmware? A faulty App? Or maybe it is possessed..

You can do this in iCloud calendars, actually. You just can't do it directly on the device. But, if you go to icloud.com & edit the calendar event, you can select "Custom" from the dropdown for Repeat & it will let you put in "every 4 wks on saturday" or even "every 28 days." But, again, you'd have to be using iCloud & you can only do this on the website.

TIGER 10.4.11 NEED ITUNES 10 FOR NEW IPHONE 4

I just got the new i phone 4. I have 2 macs at home, both running tiger 10.4.11. I know I need the new version of itunes and I was going to bite the bullet and went out and purchased leopard only to then realize that both my macs have 512MB of ram. And leopard requires at least 1GB to be installed.. Needless to say im sooooo frustrated with apple at this point. As an longtime apple customer I cannot believe all the trouble it is to download a FREEEEE itunes update. After calling apple care I was told all I could do was go make yet another purchase for more storage space or buy a new computer!!! Ridiculous! Please anyone help.

I had the same problem. VERY frustrating! I live 5 hours from nearest Apple store which is what customer support told me to do after buying, as you did, the new op system disc and in trying to install it there was not enough room so they said ! I eliminated and backed up photos etc... still not enough. So after doing everything Apple suggested and spending several hundred dollars, Apple suggested I send my Mac in or take it to the store (5 hour drive one way) .... I was ready to return my Iphone 4.
As a last resort, I found a small shop in a town about 30 min away that said they work on Macs. I took it in and for another $120 and 2 days he finally got the new op syst on, but I lost Itunes library and everything else.
But.... he said the reason it shows that there is not enough room is because applications were duplicated, multiple downloads were hidden... well to make a long story short...I got more help from this little shop and I will never buy another Mac laptop or Apple computer again.
During all this.. my new Iphone 4 worked fine on my 8 year old Windows PC desktop but I could not carry around a desktop with me for syncing, etc.
Interesting why an Apple product .. Iphone 4 will not work on a 3 yr old Mac but will work on an 8 yr old PC! I finally got it when the customer support also tried to sell me a new Mac. No way!
Of course, when I bought the Iphone... they failed to mention that you have to have a new Mac for it to work!! This is my 4th Iphone!
I feel your frustration!! I have been there and I will no longer use Mac computers. I have now spent over $350 getting this resolved plus $300 for phone... and did not get ANY help from Apple that worked... it just cost me money. The $120 I spent with the small "unapproved" Apple shop was the only worthwhile expense.

Need a receipt for bought iPhone

I bought an iPhone 5s on 27th August in Apple store and sent it overseas to a friend, unfortunately package got lost in destination country (they probably stole it), I claimed a refund (got coverage on 700$) and now post is asking for a receipt of it, but problem is that when I bought that iPhone I didnt take a receipt.

Do I need to pay for my iPhone 5c replacement?

Since December, I had purchased my phone. Flash forward a month later. My phone has been experiencing some weird pop like noises from my screen. This can be heard when you press the screen on the left side with a bit of pressure. I decided to wait a while later to see if the screen would make a noise. Yet it still does. This problem doesn't damage my phone from the inside or anything. And last saturday I dropped my phone on the concrete and the back bark of it got cracks.
All this being said, is it possible I should get my phone replaced for a refurbished one? I hope I don't need to pay because my iPod had a similar problem with the screen because the side got busted out when it fell and the back got a crack and I didn't pay anything. I got it replaced for free. And I still have my repair & service warranty still.

Even if you had prior screen issues, the cracked screen is not covered and you will need to have it replaced and there will be a fee. Once you get it replaced, get a durable case and if you have issues take it in before others arise.

I want a case that will protect my Iphone but also be able to use the Iphone easily and I don't want the case to make the Iphone bulky .... I am not too fond of silicone cases as they tend to kinda stick to your pocket.

Both me and my Husband use the ifogz luxe case. These are nice cases with a slick enough shell for your pocket, but not overly slippery where you might drop it. It has a small lip around the edge for table top placement yet it isn't too intrusive to block your finger when you swipe the screen. Plus is it probably the lease bulky case I have come across. They have them at the AT&T store and places like Best Buy. I got my purple (you won't find purple at AT&T)one at Best Buy. You can also find them on Amazon...

Remove/delete itunes and reinstall it.

Charging cords are covered by the iPhone warranty or their own warranty
if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local

Hello everybody, Im trying to update my ITunes on my MAC (laptop) to the newer version so I can then be able to update the latest updates for my Iphone-3G. I don’t require a complete reinstall just need to be able to update my itunes.
What I have tried so far is I had my MAC search for update’s and it said that I should update to (ITunes version 10 . 6 . 3 ) So I asked it to do the update but after 2hrs of waiting for it to download/update it then puts up a message saying the following- (In order to continue installation, please close the following application: ITunes).
When I tried to do this another message comes up that says- (The update ITunes can’t be installed. The following install step failed: run preupgrade script for Apple mobile device support. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.)
I have also tried to run the update while having closed ITunes before I even start the update but the same problem happens after waiting about 2hrs.
Some one that had the same problem said this might be happening in the older operating systems. But that does not make sense because surely Apple want customers who own a MAC and i-phone to still buy from iTunes.
My MAC is about 4-5years old. I have a i-phone.3G,
