I need an integrated SVG viewer on my ipad mini, any help?

I am looking for an app of some kind to allow me to access this site on my iPad mini- It is a Volvo Diesel parts program that requires an SVG Viewer.

Go to the iPad's App Store and search for "SVG Viewer". I did that and found something called "SVG Viewer i".

but on the page that im redirected to, there is no download at all. I cant find one anywhere as the page from Ford suggests in their instructions. I have done this before and have never had this problem. I had a hard drive crash and installed a new one, now i cant view EVTM's that i need.

A separate SVG viewer should no longer be necessary as most web browsers will already support the format. Have you tried opening the document in question in your web browser?

To use firefox as my prefered browser in my labour environment I'm seeking for a add-on that provides InternetExplorer abilities for Firefox. With this new feature I need to run the no longer supported Adobe svg-viewer software. Otherwise I am not able to open relevant graphics with Firefox.

Do I need to replace my cracked screen? - ipad mini

ok, so I know there are tons of discussions about how to replace a cracked screen DIY, and how the out of warranty replacement costs works and prices, etc..
But, my questions is do I really need to replace it if it otherwise is working ok? i.e., is there something else that oculd be wrong with it, or something else that could happen later that I really need to. It doesn't really affect screen viewing, just stares at me when screen is locked and makes me angry. ipad mini in a xdoria smart cover case dropped about a foot flat on front.
both pictures below show the ipad in the same position. can't really tell crack when screen is on. a little obvsious when screen is flat on table and i'm trying to type (can see fractured light a little).
can physically feel crack on the surface.
only had it a month, can't even blame the kids, **** it!

Hi...I am new to this site and it looks like I posted the question in the subject box...my bad.
I have an Iphone 3G which is used as an ipod (phone service plans are too expensive).
I had some apps on it, Facebook being one of them. The device was goins soooo slow (not even 2G of the available 6 being used) so I did as instructed and backed it up, restored it and then put the info back into it. When I tried to download the Facebook app...it said that I had a 4.2.1 system and needed a 4.3 something system? Can anyone provide any help on this or am I doing something wrong?

Sorry. There's nothing anyone can do. The current version of the facebook app will not run on 4.2.1. The iPhone 3G won't run anything higher than 4.2.1. You're stuck.
Maybe it's time to buy yourself a new iPod Touch.

Viewing calendar in ipad mini

Have a new ipad mini (refurb) and love it. One annoying problem is the view on the calendar month and the inability of inserting a new event in the "search" view, which took the place of the "list" view in the update. I used the "List" view exclusively in ios6 & hated to see it go.
My problem with viewing the various views is that I can't "pinch" to enlarge. I can barely see events even with my glasses on. Anyone know a workaround for these issues? I tried another calendar from iTunes but that didn't afford me any help either.
And I hope Apple goes back to the old functional "List" view future upgrades.

Does anyone know the viewing angle of iPad mini's camera sensor?

I've read the iPad mini's spec and still can't find the width/height of the camera sensor.
I only know its focal length(3.3 mm).
If anyone can tell me about the camera sensor's width/height, I can figure out the viewing angle.
I would be grateful for any help you can provide.

Remember: they measured the horizontal angle in degree in landscape mode, and the FOV on very compact camera should be affected ( a little bit ) by the autofocus.

How app would i need to be able to attach PDF word documenets to an email from my Ipad? Any help is greatly appreciated as I need to be able to do this in order to work while away for the holidays.

You need an app that will read and work with PDF files. GoodReader is one I see recommended. I have ReaddleDocs and Documents to Go will also handle PDF files.
WHen you need to mail them, you usually open them, then there will be a little swoopy arrow that is the 'send to' arrow. Tap on that and 'send to mail' where you can then e-mail your PDF. (the exact how's vary with each app but you can look on the developers' sites and see how things work)

I'm able to get to the point where Adobe Air Installer icon appears. I'm able to click on this icon but then I get the error. Anyone else experiencing this problem? If the Adobe product is not compatible with Lion, it's still Adobe's issue. Even still, this is a MacBook Pro hardware forum, so if you think Lion caused it, try going to the Lion forum, maybe someone will be able to give you quick/helpful support.

Is there a way to force "desktop view" on my iPad 1 when using Safari?

Google, in their control frenzy, has now changed iGoogle to default to Tablet view on iPads. Why??? Here is one solution but it does not use Safari:

Answer:This issue is with the Tablet view. You can switch to Classic view at the bottom, but as soon as you type anything in the url bar you get reverted to Tablet. I have the Atomic Browser installed on my iPad and have set it to identify itself as a desktop. iGoogle loads fine on that. I am not aware of any such setting for Safari on the iPad.
Google fails to understand that we do not need sub featured pages for our tablets. Tablets work fine with the desktop versions. They have probably concluded that iGoogle pages are too busy for tablets and so have disabled it. Tablet search has been significantly degraded by Goggle with elimination of the pinch and zoom and cached features. It should be possible to make a sticky setting change to Classic view on tablets. Most other settings stick, but not the Classic view. I dont think Google get it anymore.

The website may alter its page display based on the browser ID that is transmitted to the site from your browser. Some browsers on the iPad like iCab allow you change the browser ID to something desktop-oriented. Safari does not provide this capability.

For the iPad, iMac you need to create verifyible e-mail addresses created with one of the providers such as Yahoo, Gmail,etc. For the iphone you should use it's phone number, but an e-mail could be used for it too. If you want to associate these e-mail addresses with a single ID, I'm including a link to give you info about how you can do that. Read it carefully, as it can be a bit confusing.
