Which is a A8M2N-LA Naos-GL6, is this that what you have? And what BIOS are you looking for, or should I say what did you try to put on it?
I happen to have the same motherboard on an old Compaq, so I could possibly exctact the BIOS file if it is the one you are looking for. It showes 3.00 I beleive but I will check if you need the info.

I have to create a product substitution list using BAPI_PSPSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI . I have tried lot by passing parmaeters. Can anyone please tell me the exact parameters which need to be passed for creating a product substitution list. once it is created from this BAPI, It should appear via tcode /SAPAPO/RBA04.

I am trying to test the BAPI first , and during testing i am passing following parameters.
no value to these four import paramters .
LOGICAL_SYSTEM :
BUSINESS_SYSTEM_GROUP
AUTO_DELETE
COMMIT_CONTROL " by default space
In table PRD_SUB_PROC, i am passing only PRD_SUB_PROC   ie 1 .
in table PRODUCT_SUBSTITUTION ,
PRD_SUB_ PR                            PRODUCT                                                            SUBSTITUTE_PROD
1                                                400000005                                                                         4000000010
But still i am not getting any value in return parameter. let me know what value should come in return if product substitution list get created using this BAPI.

I would not recommend installing different BIOS updates from different notebook series on the Satellite A200-23U.
The point is that a wrong BIOS or not compatible BIOS can damage the ROM module or the motherboard!!!
I would not risk this!!!
Fact is that you should update the BIOS only with the version which was designed and published especially for your notebook model.

Hi, Those who have Lenovo G480 Model No: 20149, I really need your cooporation to provide me your BIOS backup of OLDER version (The newest version is V9.01). My BIOS information is 5ECN96WW after updated to the newest version. Im requesting this due to performances issues I faced after updated bios to the latest version (laptop seemed to boot slower). Please help me. I need to restore my BIOS to the older version thus I will need the BIOS.rom file.
You can use Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit 2.0(google it) to backup your BIOS. Click Read then wait for it to read then click backup after that. Save the backup file and upload it to the Internet and provide me the download link.
I've used this program to backup my bios and it worked fine. Thank you for your help.

I need BIOS setup for 5005-S504

Hello,
I no longer have the original disks, the laptop was OFF for 8 years and the CMOS battery was dead. Windows was corrupt and I installed Win Vista. I need to access the BIOS but the Win XP HardWare utility download won't run in VISTA. Hitting ESC when it boots doesn't work. F2 doesn't either.
How can I access the BIOS setup screens? Is their a reset button somewhere on the motherboard?
Any help appeciated.

Need BIOS password for old ACS SE

We recently upgraded our ACS SE 1112 to a SE 1113 model. The trade allows us to keep the old hardware. I want to use it for a test Windows or Linux server, however I can't seem to be able to break out of the locked-down Windows boot sequence. Occasionally I am able to press enough keys to get what looks like a BIOS password prompt. Does anyone know what that is?

Thanks for the suggestion. I get challenged with 3 password prompts when I hit F12 during the boot sequence and neither password works. In fact, I'm not sure that is the BIOS password. But I did open a TAC case and they suggested removing the CMOS battery....which worked. Here's the sequence if I had to do it all over again:
1) boot with a diskette to find a utility to remove the master boot record. I used a 3x diskette OS/2 and used FDISK.
2) remove the cover. Take out the CMOS battery. Wait a minute or two and put it back in place.
3) reboot. Do not (yet) select F1 to setup the BIOS. Just hit the prompt to continue booting. The default boot sequence will boot from the CD.
4) Install your OS from the CD. During the install process if the box needs to reboot, do not (yet) hit F1.
5) after installation of the OS, at the next reboot, select F1 at the prompt, set up the BIOS (date/time, etc), exit and save.
It must have something to do with the SATA drive/controller and the IDE controller on the system board - but I could not find the correct BIOS settings to allow me to boot from CD if I pressed F1 after removing the CMOS battery and saved the BIOS configuration.

This is the 1st system I have built and I am a bit confused on what to set in the BIOS to get my processor running at its rated speed. The BIOS reports it at 1.84ghz. I set the FSB to 166. What else do I need to do (and where do I look) to remedy this?

With WinAmp playing and writing this.
Artic Silver on the Heatsink.

I emailed MSI tech support with the problem and this is what they said:

Update the bios to version 3.5, which you can download from this link. And set the cpu fsb to 133 for a thoroughbred cpu, and 166 for a sempron cpu.

Set FSB to 133
BIOS says 1433 mhz. No change from before.
I reset the FSB to 166 and it now runs at 1866 mhz (rated 2ghz)
As far as the cooling problem, I haven't touched the Heatsink/Cooling fans yet.
Temp dropped when I lowered the FSB.
I bolted a 92mm Fan to the outside of the case (Biohazard grille) and the temp now runs at 48c CPU and 36c Chassis.
Plan to do the fan reversal this weekend and maybe the lapping.

You should know that the BIOS update is always risky.
The wrong BIOS or wrong BIOS update procedure can damage the board or the ROM module.
Yes its true dude. The BIOS upgrade is not an easy thing like a graphic card driver update. BIOS update should be done as a last resort.

THX Console (Vista) - Need Low Pass for

Hi, back on XP the installation CD included a THX console that could be used to setup a LFE or subwoofer channel. Since I've "upgraded" to vista x64 I haven't been able to find a working version of this nor a workaround. I have a plugin for foobar which accomplishes this task; but, I'd like to take advantage of it while watching dvd's and gaming.
Does anyone know where I can find a THX console for Vista x64 or any other way to do this uni'versally?

Let me try to explain it again. First you install the old windows xp. Go to the sound blaster install folder. Look for the THX console folder. Save it to a disc. Install windows vista. Put the saved folder back on your computer it can be anywhere. Install the vista driver and then you will be able to open the .exe file in the THX Console folder and it should work. It works for me. Hope it works for you.

No one will give you that. You only can download to update the bios you will not get the source code and any bios you download and edit is use at your own risk. And since we have no P/N no one can direct you to the BIOS update your system needs. If HP support didn't give you this information why do you think the HP user are going to have access to that information.
