I need display oracle application on mobile

hi
i need display oracle application on mobile
what Issue from java shall i need
or What are the requirements to dis play it
thanks.......

I believe that depends pretty-much on the OS on that mobile.
iOS, Windows Mobile, Android, Symbyan...
They are quite different. And that means you need a different Java machine for each different OS.
And that definitely is not a Oracle Forms development topic.
So far, I've never heard of Oracle Forms Applet run on any kind of mobile phone.

  • Deploying Oracle Applications over mobile phones

Hallo!I am an Oracle Newbie studying for the Oracle 10g Administration course.
I am just curious. If one wanted end users to access Oracle Applications e.g E-Business Suite,Discoverer,Siebel etc over mobile phones such that Oracle Forms and Reports could be loaded over a mobile phone, what would this entail?
What kind of configurations would need to be done on the Application Servers plus on the mobile phones themselves to realize this? Will you need J2ME plus other s/w to do this?
Please give me a very brief overview as to the applications needed and configurations to be done to achieve this.
    Thanks.

    1) >>>>I ftp-d my rdf file to the default demo directory
    "OraHome1/j2ee/OC4J_Demos/applications/reportsDemo/web/examples/Tools/emp.rdf"
    <<<<<
The name of the file is "emp.rdf" and you are giving request for "employees.rdf".
The important thing is the location of file should be in env variable "REPORTS_PATH"
( to be set in $OH\bin\reports.sh)

  • Need free Oracle Applications 11i technical Tutorials

    Hi All,
I've been learning Oracle Application (technical) and need some pointers from you regarding Technical Tutorials.
I've gone through some of the basic tutorials of Oracle Applications and now looking for websites/resources for techical tutorials which can be practiced on Oracle 11i Demo( vision) instance.
Please let me know the resources/pdfs/links where these concepts are explained in a sequential manner as I'm already confused with what to read and what not to read after surfing the net. At the same time, some of the tutorials I found on internet are for Functional training and this created further confusion as I couldn't distinguish between functional & Technical material.
It is not my intend to get hold of every thing, but want to have a fair understanding of Apps & an opportunity to explore/learn other things when I work on projects. So, looking for a course material of 30 - 80 hrs. duration. ( Am I too selective? :) )
Last but not least, I don't have Metalink account and hence need resouces which are free of cost.
Request you all to help me and find me the right resources!
    Many Thanks,
    MK

  • Need Help - Oracle Application

Hi I am new to this forum. We have V890 server with Oracle 10g installed. We have a plan to create more instance in oracle DB. But the issue is Disk space. So we planned to add more disks in server.can anyone please help me, how to add new partitions in existing installed ORACLE DB.

When you install Oracle9iAS, you get the wireless component (Oracle9iAS Wireless). It provides the ability to expose applications to any mobile device (including voice) with only writing the application once. There is a mobile XML defined by Oracle9iAS Wireless that should be used. You can think of the mobile XML as HTML, but for mobile devices. There are a few walkthroughs to get you started: http://otn.oracle.com/tech/wireless/tutorials/content.html
Also, you may want to go to the Oracle Applications forum to get their opinion.

I had to google to find this info :-) OADM was de-supported in 1998. It was used as the presetation layer in release 10.7 and prior.
I am not sure what you need it for - can you please elaborate :-)

    Hello,
Did you copy the 2 JAR files in your /forms/java directory ?
Did you add them to your /forms/server/formsweb.cfg file (archive_jini tag) ?
As always when a Java Bean is in the game, display the Java Console at runtime to see if any error are raised.

  • Oracle bpm worspace application for mobile...

is there any bpm workspace application for mobile ?? ADF mobile ??

I was looking for a Mobile app for BPM and came across this blog:
    https://blogs.oracle.com/fusionmiddleware/entry/unleashing_your_mobile_workforce
    I want to highlight this:
"Oracle Business Process Management (BPM) can accomplish your workflow needs, and BPM includes a task list application for iPad, iPhone, and Android. "
Is this something coming in the next release?

  • Displays blank page when tried to access ORACLE Application Server Control

    Hi,
I have successfully installed the Oracle SOA Suite using advance installation.
But when tried to open ORACLE APPLICATION SERVER CONTROL by following the below path.
start-> programs-> oracle-soa->ORACLE APPLICATION SERVER CONTROL, It displays a blank IE page.
But when tried to open BPEL control or WSM control or ESB control, it takes me to the login page.
Note: Started the SOA suite and the status of ASG component in the Start SOA page says Down.Does this affect in anyways?
Would appreciate if anyone could throw some light on this.

    Hi All,
I started reinstalling SOA suite and while installation, I encounter below warning.
"A DHCP configuration was detected on this host" The installer also detected that the localhost name and network hostname differ. please resolve the networking issues by reffering the "Installing on DHCP computers" section in the installation guide."
Note: Doing installation in the server.
Wondering this could be the cause for displaying blank Application Server Control page.
And here is, what it says in the installation guide.
Note this limitation when running Oracle Application Server on DHCP computers: Oracle Application Server instances on DHCP computers cannot communicate with other instances running on other computers. For example, you cannot have OracleAS Infrastructure on one computer and a middle tier on another computer if any one of those computers uses DHCP. All the instances that need to communicate with each other need to run on the same computer. There are no limitations on clients: clients from other computers can access the instances running on the DHCP computer, as long as the client computer can resolve the DHCP computer on the network.
The solution for this is installing loopback adapter. But the catch is, I have few webmethods running on the server. Wondering about the effects of Loop back adadpter on webmethods. Please someone throw some light.
    Regards
    jude.

  • In Which type of mobile phones i can access Oracle application?

    Hi All,
I was wondering like , in which type of mobile phones (like Windows, Blackberry etc) i can access Oracle application ? Due to some reasons sometimes i can't use/carry my laptop, so in that case i want to open/access Oracle application in my Mobile Phone.
    please advice...
    Thanks
    Skudikyal

    Hi!
Generally it should be possible with nearly every mobile accessing to the database via command line mode.
If you want to access to Apex you need a mobile with a browser or Apple's iPhone with an 'app'.

  • Report does not display data in Oracle Applications

I created a custom report and registered the same under Oracle Order Entry. The report uses 1 parameter and whereas everything is registered in Oracle apps. correctly, the report draws a blank upon completion. The only visible thing is the header part.
This report though works fine if run directly from Reports Designer.
Anybody know what specific setting (if required) needs to be made in Oracle Applications? Further in order that you can know the picture, whatever is enclosed in the Repeating Frame does not show up in App. but as pointed earlier works just fine from Reports Designer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a browser (FireFox v2) based InfoView so I guess it is the DHTML viewer.
On the server it is java (Tomcat). The report uses a custom driver (crdb_ado).
Currently all the servers (RAS, page, cache etc) are running under LocalSystem account. I don't understand what a domain account is, is it administrator?
The interesting part is, I was able to upload and run 8 other reports before I experienced this problem. Have I hit some limit?
I appreciate your help. Please share any other ideas/insights on this issue.
    Regards

  • Quick answer needed----Does Oracle ADF Mobile support Canvas in HML5?

I am interested in Oracle ADF Mobile and want to develop a native mobile product on ipad maybe other tablet devices with CAD functionality. But I can't find a way to create HTML5 with Canvas on it. I wonder if Oracle ADF Mobile can do it. If so, how?
    Thanks
    Ling

    Hi,
ADF Mobile comes with a rich set of Data Visualization Components (charts/graphs/etc) that's based on HTML5 Canvas. You would not need to develop your own set of HTML5 components. This is applicable to the new on-device version of ADF Mobile. You would need to create an ADF Mobile app, and create your user interface using AMX components. The graphics component set is call DVT Mobile AMX.
If you decide to create your own HTML5-based pages with HTML5 canvas-based graphics component, you can still host your own HTML5 page inside ADF Mobile. However, you would need to create your own HTML5 page.

  • I need to know the department column in Oracle Application

    Hi there:
Can somebody tell me how can I get the employee department information from oracle application.
I need to know the table name and column name.
    Thanks and regards,

I think this is not the best forum, to ask such a question. One that deals with Oracle Applications would be better suited.
Maybe have a look [url http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=410]here. Not sure if it is the right one.
