• Windows 7 - 64 Bit Driver Needed For Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Model SB0100

I am having trouble finding a working driver for Windows 7 - 64 Bit for a Sound Blaster Li've! 5. Audo Card Model# SB000
I downloaded driver file SBL_PC64DRVBETA_LB_2_03_0005.exe which I think is a 64 Bit Sound Blaster Li've! update, but Windows 7 does not allow it to be installed because it is not a digitally signed driver. It also seems Creative is no longer supporting these old cards with new driver updates.
I love the card though. I have bought more recent sound cards and the sound of this card is still much better than the more recent sound cards I have bought. So I would like to keep using it if possible.
Are there any driver solutions?

I recently answered about the same question:
If you?use Vista or Windows7, then there is no official driver. You can only use alternati've drivers like Vista Support Pack by Daniel_K or the one from KXProject (better). But if you have more than 2 gigs of memory installed or an x64 OS, then both drivers will be half-working (as far as I remember, Daniel's driver won't work with more than 2 Gb of memory installed in any OS, and with KX-driver there will only be a problem with MIDI playback with more than 2 Gb AND x64 Win7).

• Drivers needed for Sound Blaster LIVE VALUE - Model 4780

I had to move my SB Live Value card model 4780 S/N 4780210008722, to another computer and require new drivers for the SB card which has a gaming port.
I have a 3.0 gig IBM Think Center box using Windows XP SP2.
I tried the DOWNLOAD area Creative provided but found the information very confusing as to what drivers and patches to download. First it said to download except if I did not have the original installation drivers (which I don't have), but then it says to download the drivers as an upgrade.
Again, they don't address clearly what I should download for a basic installation which includes use of the game port for use with flying type software. I have 2-3 joysticks consoles i'd like to use on my newer computer using the CT 4780 SB card.

• Problem install driver sound blaster Omni surround 5.1

Hi, I have just bought this sound card. My computer is using win 7. But when I insert CD and install driver. Then I can't install it and the message below is showed:
"Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system"
Please help me resolve it .
Thank you so much

Maybe you are connecting your Omni Surround 5.1 to a USB hub. How about trying to connect the device to another empty USB port?
Maybe you can try to disable your on board sound card in the bios to see if it works.

• Audigy Sound Blaster model number SB0240 HELP PLEASE

hello, my Toshiba laptop died a few weeks ago, so i borrowed my brothers desktop. well i had to format and do not have any of the drivers for the computer.
i went to the support center and found my card by the model number, but the link to my specific driver was no longer found.
a link to my card's driver would be more than appreciated.
please help
!!! >_<

dkeedy,
The SB0240 is an? Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 Platinum. Some variants, such as SB0249 and SB0245 are OEM, meaning that they came with the computer, and the commercial software might not work with them.

• Need Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI-express Windows XP dri

Hi
It seems that I can't find any drivers for my X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI-Express card anywhere.
It's deeply frustrating as I can't use my audio card to anything without the proper drivers and software(the audio console).
Is there any way of getting these drivers / software?
Thanks in advance

Hi Orion,
You might want to get in touch with support to enquire about the CD.

• Sound blaster model S80

Just bought the above item but can't work out how to transfer the recordings I have made on it to a burn list in order to made CD's or transfer to MP3 player. Anyone any ideas? Preferably in plain English, using words of 2 syllables or less. Thanks.

superpop,
Do you have an application for burning CDs (e.g., Nero)? If so, it likely has an option to import files into a list area in a section of the CD burner application window. For the Roxio CD burner program that I use, I open a folder and click and drag files to the list. Roxio keeps a running total of how much space is taken up and left on the CD I'm "building." Roxio has options to burn music or data CDs. If your software has those options, you would choose "music." When you have all the music files you want in the list, there should be an option to burn. This is often a "button" within the window of the application. Your MP3 player software should have a similar import feature and an option to download it to or "sync" your MP3 player.
(BTW, I'm guessing you have a SB0490, which is a SB Li've! 24 bit external.)

• Realtek HD audio manager vs Sound blaster cinema 2

Hey guys,
Quick question. I have an MSI GAMING 5 motherboard and I have both Realtek HD audio manager and Sound blaster cinema 2 installed. Can I remove one? Which one provides the best sound through headphones (Razer Kraken)?

As okultis said, you can have both.
The Realtek HD audio manager is the driver and manager for the actual sound card itself.
The Sound Blaster Cinema 2 is mainly software that works in conjunction with the audio card driver to give it some more advanced features.
You don't NEED the Sound Blaster Cinema 2 software, but it's generally good to have it installed. It will improve the sound output under many conditions.

• Problems with Sound Blaster Live! 1024 and Windows 2000 Profession

Hello everybody, and thank you since now for your help and support.
Please, forgive my english (I'm italian) not so good, but I hope you can understand me the same.
I have a Sound Blaster Li've! 024, and so far everything works fine with Windows 98 SE, but lately I have installed Windows 2000 Professional on my PC, and now nothing works.
Nothing, neither the softwares, they don't even start!
Here is what I tried so far:
- First, I tried to install the old version of the programs, the ones that I had in the CD-ROM when I bought the sound card. At this point, I couldn't even uninstall the softwares!
- Then, I tried to update the drivers, but it seems that they're already updated when you install Win2000, and the uninstallation didn't works yet.
- At last, I have downloaded the new software pack, Li'veDrvUni-Pack.exe, but nothing even so. But with this, at least, I was able to uninstall everything from the PC (even if not perfectly).
- Today, I tried to install only the new pack, Li'veDrvUni-Pack.exe, but still nothing works. When I start running the program (e.g. AudioHQ), I can see the hourglass for few seconds and then everything aborts.
Please, help me! What can I do? I really don't want to buy a new sound card, even because my SB Li've! 024 works perfectly until now.
Thank you very much for the attention and for your suggestions.
