I need drivers to install Win7 64bit on SSD mSATA

Hi!
I need drivers to install WIN7 64x on SSD mSATA THNSNH256GMCT
Serial number on my product is 23NS10BFTABY
Thank you!

This serial number doesn't help much. It will be better if you can post exact notebook model name and model number.
Anyway, visit Toshiba support and download page for your country and if your notebook model is supported for Win7 64bit you should be able to find all necessary drivers, tools and utilities.

Are you talking about changing the keyboard layout when you are working in Windows?  If so, you need to tell people how you are running it (bootcamp, parallels, other) and whether you have already done stuff like

  • Qosmio F50 - Need to update BIOS in order of installing Win7-64bit

    Dear community,
I plan to update to Windows 7 64 bit. My notebook is Toshiba Qosmio F50-10M with a preinstalled VISTA32bit.
Is there a need to update the BIOS prior installing the new OS? I read that there is a BIOS update f?¼r VISTA64bit available but none I discovered for Win7 64bit.
    Can you give a clue?
I am confident and glad to own such a powerful notebook but this not completed OS named VISTA is driving me nuts increasingly reading all those nice reports concerning the benefits of Windows7!
Eager to read your welcomed responses

    Thank you for anwering Paolo!
Do I understand the right way? I shouldn´t change BIOS if I don´t encounter any problems?
But I should change the BIOS from 32 to 64 bit if I install the 64bit version of Win7? I intend to do so as I plan to use the full memory of my machine (I use VISTA32 at the moment).
I should change the BIOS prior installing Win7 as I understood as posted earlier?
Thank your for your kind assistance!

You need to install essentially all of the drivers and utilities at the site above for the laptop to work as designed. And the order matters. I don't have the time or patience and prefer to restore the hard disk to its original out-of-the-box contents using Toshiba recovery media. All the drivers and utilities are properly preinstalled. Windows is preactivated.
If you failed to create recovery media, you can obtain it from Toshiba. Scroll down to Get Recovery Media here.
For instructions, see the section Restoring from recovery DVDs/media, which begins on p. 72 of the User's Guide.

  • Need advice for installing win7 64 bit via oem dvd builders disk.

My current system = late 2009 iMac. I am wanting to install Win7 Pro in Boot Camp. I have been told that by using the lesser cost system builders disk there should be know significant glitches providing for the downloads of system files to fat 32 USB stick.
Question #1 How large should the boot camp partitions be for the install?
Question#2 How large shoud the USB stick be? Can a directly connected firewire drive be used instead?
Question#3 Any other advice will be greatly appreciated with regards to this software install.
Question#4 Is it true that I will need a wired mouse for the install? and will a apple wirless mouse work with win7 in boot camp?
    Thanks!

    1. 60GB or greater
    2. 2GB or greater
    3. Read the directions thoroughly and backup before you start.
    4. You should have a wired mouse and keyboard available, just in case.
4b An Apple Bluetooth Mouse (Magic Mouse) will work with Windows once Windows is installed completely.

  • 27in i7 iMac STILL won't install win7 64bit - I am using fix released 1/19

Yes I know the new Bootcamp is out and I am following this guide word for word:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3986
Just to be clear I want to install Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on a very new 27 inch i7 iMac.
I ran software update to make sure I had the latest everything including the update to the display drivers (I did this on 1/19/10). I have a ATI Radeon HD 4850 with ROM Revision: 113-B9110C-425
I followed this article TO THE LETTER to create the USB thumb drive with the extra drivers needed to make the process work:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3173
Despite the fact that that article is specifically supposed to fix "a black screen during installation of Windows 7 using Boot Camp" IT DOES NOT FIX IT. I still get that exact same problem.
I have tried THREE times tonight and made sure to follow every step carefully. I don't really understand how this USB drive with the missing drivers is supposed to work. According to the article you just leave it plugged in and during the install process windows 7 install will find it and everything will work.
It does not work! Can anyone with a 27 i7 iMac get this process to work? Can you give me a step by step that is different than the official Apple version?
I don't know what to do.

Well I understand that is the method that the USB drive is using. Sounds very clever except for the fact that it DOES NOT WORK. At least on a i7 iMac it doesn't work. I don't know why but I can promise you I followed the USB drive method very closely and it did not work as the Apple support page said it would. The only way to get it to work is to delete the display driver driver manually, which I described how to do in my second post.
It worked fine on my i7 iMac but not the first time. After it failed I reformated my USB thumb drive making sure it used MBR for the partition table and FAT16 for the file system format. I then copied the XML file and the driver folder back over to the root of the USB thumb drive . I also deleted the partial install of Win7 by repartioning my internal drive again with boot camp assistant and then did the install. This time it worked fine.
I think my partition table may have been wrong since I did not check that when I reformatted my USB thumb drive the first time. I was too stupid to check what it was before I reformated the second time so I'm not sure exactly what I did wrong the first time. I know the USB thumb drive was formatted FAT16 the first time though and nothing else was different. So in my case I believe that was the issue
Obviously YMMV... While it does not work for you, you cannot state IT DOES NOT WORK for all. Just like I cannot say that checking your USB thumb drive partition table and file system WILL fix it for you. There are probably other variables at work here.
On that note, my OS X was a fresh install (right out of the box) AND I had not hooked up anything else to it besides keyboard and mouse, I even had the Ethernet cable unplugged.
For me it's time to work on the banding issue... but that's another post

  • Missing drivers after installing Win7

    Hallo
On my just new macbookpro, i installed an original Win7 home premium 32bit.
All seemed to go right, Windows is working ok, but most drivers are missing!
How to pick them up from internet if you cant't be connected to??
Where can i find them (the right ones)
    thanks

Below is reproduced a procedure the BC Install Manual suggests. The Windows install DVD can do the same sort of thing if it is the Windows drivers that are missing.
You can find the entire PDF document here:
    http://manuals.info.apple.com/enUS/Boot_Camp_Install-Setup10.6.pdf
If You Have Problems Installing the Device Drivers
If it appears that the Boot Camp drivers weren’t successfully installed, try repairing them.
    To repair Boot Camp drivers:
1 Start up your computer in Windows.
2 Insert your Mac OS X installation disc.
3 If the installer doesn’t start automatically, browse the disc using Windows Explorer and double-click the setup.exe file in the Boot Camp directory.
4 Click Repair and follow the onscreen instructions. If a message appears that says the software you’re installing has not passed Windows
    Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.
If you need to reinstall specific drivers, you can install one driver at a time. For example, if your built-in iSight camera isn’t working, you can reinstall just the iSight driver.
Individual drivers are in the Drivers folder on the Mac OS X installation disc.
    To reinstall a specific driver:
1 Insert your Mac OS X installation disc. 2 Quit AutoRun if it opens. 3 Using Windows Explorer, locate the driver that you want to reinstall. 4 Open the driver to start the installation.

  • Installed Win7 64bit but can't install Bootcamp

    Hi all,
Just installed Windows 7 64 bit but can't get Bootcamp to install. Downloaded 3.2 (64) update but that requires 3.1. Downloaded 3.1 (64) update but that requires 3.0. 3.0 won't install from the DVD as it doesn't support the 64 bit Windows 7.
Is there a version I can download or do I have to get rid of that install and do it all again using the 32 bit version?
    Stuart

Head to (better yet, copy the contents to a folder)
    Navigate to Apple \ Drivers \ Bootcamp64.msi
control click and select Compatibility Mode and choose "Vista"
You just have to force it a little.
May also get a warning from Windows that it isn't compatible or known to cause trouble (true) but install anyway.
AppleHFS feature can be buggy and lead to Bsod.
I keep that renamed and therefore disabled, use Paragon HFS or MacDrive8 instead, commercial but at least they work better.
Apple didn't 'bless' some of us with older EFI32 (trouble booting DVD and other issues) and even mid 2008 iMac had 64-bit ROM and processor at a time when MacBook, MacBook Pro, and Mac Pro all were on the "supported" list for Vista 64-bit, the iMac was not

  • FM2-A75MA-P33 & Win7 64Bit Storage Drivers

Looking for the 64Bit AHCI Sata drivers to install Win7 using this Mobo.  I was able to install the 32Bit drivers that came on the CD with no problems, but none of the 64Bit drivers work (CD or on the MSI website).  Has anyone had any luck loading the 64Bit drivers using this Mobo and getting windows to detect the controller on install?
    Thanks

Right after I click to install Windows 7 (when booting off the install DVD), it starts scanning for Controllers/disks to partition/install onto.  The screen then states that it could not find any controllers/disk and prompts to load a driver.  I had no problem loading the 32Bit drivers for AHCI from a fresh install when I only had 4GB RAM in the system, but now I've installed 8GB of RAM and thus re-installing Win7 for 64Bit support.
It's running a  AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz CPU running the latest BIOS
    Thanks!

  • Does OVS2.2.1 support win7-64bit OS

    Hi,
    I use OVS2.2.1
    And I installed win7 64bit OS VM.
But when create the VM by OVM manager, the drop down list for OS do not have win7 selection.
Then I select windows vista instead.
After win7 OS installed, I installed OVM windows PV Drivers on it.
When I go to storage, the Hard Disk Driver is "Auto", and cannot set it as xvdx.
    My question is:
    1) Does OVS2.2.1 support win7-64bit OS
    2) If not, which patch should I install to support win7.
    3) Does xvdx model support win7?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
yes this are the release notes of OVS 2.2.2. However I can remember that they looked the same for OVS 2.2.1.
PS: If you look in the server user guide under "What's new", you won't find a new entry for Windows 7 with 2.2.2 - which implies it has been supported before.
If you want to be 100% sure, upgrade to OVS 2.2.2.
No - it only means you are not using xvd* devices but hd* / sd* devices. Which is also valid.
However using xvd* devices (together with the PV drivers) is better for performance (I/O-Performance).

  • Installing MaxDB client on Win7 64bit and connect to 32bit server

    Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install a MaxDB client on my 64 bit Win7-System in order to use the BO universe designer. And basically it does't work because the db server is 32bit. I tried to:
    1. Install the 64bit client driver -> The connection assistant moans about wrong architectures between application driver and database
    2. Install the 32bit client driver and hope that Win7 does not complain -> The installer quits because of the wrong architecture. I'm aware of the 32bit database administrator in Win7 (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe) but as long as it is not possible to install the driver this solution is not applicable
    3. Use the virtual XP mode -> Installation of the 32bit driver is possible without any problems. Then, the only problem is to access the driver. Unlike the usual "start XP mode application" (accessible via the start menu), the drivers are only registered in the virtual machine. Consequently, I had to install the whole BO package in the virtual machine as well. This works fine, but running the universe designer on the Win7 system in a virtual XP machine just does't feel right
Any ideas to resolve this issue? Maybe "force" the MaxCB 32 bit client into installation?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

    > I'm trying to install a MaxDB client on my 64 bit Win7-System in order to use the BO universe designer. And basically it does't work because the db server is 32bit. I tried to:
    Sorry, but that's nonsense.
The byte-version of the client has nothing to do with the servers byte-version.
    Connect 32 to 64? Works!
    Connect 64 to 32? Works!
    Connect 32 to 32? Works!
    Connect 64 to 64? Works!
The client software really is independent from the MaxDB server software.
What's not independent is the byte-version of the application you want to use with the 32-bit client software.
In this case, the byte-version of the BO universe designer.
    > Any ideas to resolve this issue? Maybe "force" the MaxCB 32 bit client into installation?
Since I'm not (yet) familiar with the universe designer software ... is this a 32-bit software?
Have you already opened a support message to get an answer from the BO support collegues?
Is the BO universe designer officially supported on Windows 7/64-Bit at all?
    regards,
    Lars

  • HP722c install to win7 64bit

Can't get HP722C to install on new Win7 Pro 64bit OS. I saw a long post on HP about a "bridge" but it assumed that the driver was installed and just wouldn't work. I can't even get a driver to install. The CD won't work, driver is not on Win7, and HP won't download it from their site. They tell me it's on Win7, but I have done that dance twice and it ain't there! Anybody smarter than me know how to make this 722C work on Win7 64bit? Now tell me simply and slowly, I'm over 65!

[Please DO NOT post multiple posts on the same subject.  As I composed this message I note you posted three more requests for the same information....]
There are actually three separate issues that will need to be addressed:
Most Windows 7 computers do not have parallel ports and the Deskjet 722 only supports a parallel port.  There are USB-parallel converters that can be used, but many of these do not support Windows 7.  Make sure the converter (if you need one) supports Windows 7.  The posts tagged here have models that users have reported success with in Windows 7.  The port you select will depend on the model you have, the port will typically be USB001: or USB002:.
The driver is delivered through Windows Update.  Lately this has been having an issue with the update failing.  To check this do the following:  click Start, Devices and Printers, Add a Printer, Local Port, LPt1: (for now), Next, click on Windows Update and wait for the list to repopulate.  If you get an error "Windows was unable to get a list..." then see the post here for a workaround.    Once Windows Update has completed and the list is repopulated select HP Deskjet 720, Next, Next, Finish.  (Do not print a test page at this point.)  You can now connect the printer cable, then right click on the Deskjet 720, Printer Properties, Ports and select the proper port.  [I have no way to know what the port will be for your system.  Look for a USBnnn: port or check with the documentation for your converter cable.] Once this has completed and the printer shows up in the Devices and Printers folder you can continue to the next step.
Next apply the patch available here that resolves this issue of the spooler crashing.

  • Going from XP 32bit PRO to Win7 Pro 64 BIT..do I still need drivers? P-35

    Hi,
     I have a MSI P-35 PLATINUM MoBo.
I'm finally dumping Windows XP   Home 32Bit PRO, and installing Windows 7 Pro 64 BIT..When I got the mobo, and installed the CPU,power supply, hard drives, etc., I received a few discs from MSI along with the board, so what drivers do I need to work with Win7?  I already downloaded and saved to a flash drive the following..
    (1) Intel INF Drivers,
    (2) Realtek PCI-E Drivers,
    (3) Realtek High Definition Audio Driver. WHAT ELSE DO YOU THINK I WILL NEED?
I used Live Update and Dual Core center (watching my quad core Q6600 heat issues, in the summertime) and DOT express. Can I use this with WIN7?
Do I also have to go into bios settings again after the win7 install and change anything manually?  Fan speeds, etc.?
When I bought this P-35 mobo, It came with the MSI Multimedia Value package, the MSI Driver and Utilities, and Intel Chipset for Windows XP, (which I used), then they also had a MSI Intel Chipset for Windows VISTA.
:confused2:WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO INSTALL THESE DRIVERS?  JUST AFTER INSTALLING WINDOWS7, OR AFTER WIPING AND FORMATTING THE HDD'S?
EXTRA BONUS QUESTION > This is about memory. I had 4GB with XP 32 Bit, with 64 Win 7, I can use all 8GB. The first ram sticks were Corsair matched DDR2 / 4x1GB / XMS 2PC6400/800 MHz,with 5-5-5-12 and 1.9volts. The new ram I bought was Corsair XMS2 4GB 2x2GB DDR2 with 5-5-5-18 and 1.8volts. Many have told me to trash the old memory and go buy another 4GB of the same speed. others told me I can go to the bios and change the speed there...whaddayathink?  yeah, ok, I'll go buy more ram of the same.
    THANK YOU!  HAPPY FOURTH!

Also If you want to watch the temp of your C2Q Q6600 you could use AIDA64 (well known as Everest) it will help you to check the temp of you CPU, VGA, and see everything from you PC.
