I need help accessing the itunes store

so for some reason my itunes doesnt let me get to the itunes store. it doesnt let me sign in to my itunes account and when i go into the itunes store through the internet is says. itunes can not proccess the request ( error 11223) please help me

Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected. Hope this helps.. good luck!

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

I am on a Windows 7 Gateway laptop with Intel Premium. This problem started a couple days ago, just after I finally gave in to go from my version 10 iTunes to the "new and improved" version 11 iTunes. The version 10 worked like a dream, no worries, very quick. Now, all I can do is use my iTunes library. If I just wanted a library I would be using Windows Media Player (jk, iTunes is better). Anyway, my point is, right after installing the new version of iTunes, this problem began. I've looked all through the Apple Support Pages, and tried a couple of things recommended, but nothing's worked so far. If anyone has a clue on what I can do, help would be very much appreciated. Also, if your suggestions don't involve downloading anything, that would be wonderful. Nevertheless, if they do, that's still okay. I'm desperate at this point, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, I fixed the problem. I logged on as an administrator and deleted iTunes files. I then redownloaded the file as an administrator and the Store is working smoothly again!

I downloaded Itunes 9 on 17/09/09 and as a result I can no longer access the Itunes Store. *I have tried the following*:
* Turning off my Windows Firewall and CA Security Firewall and ensuring that neither is blocking anything Apple related
* Turned off pop up blockers
* Complete uninstall of all Apple programs, then reinstall
* DNSFlush
* Copy, paste, etc of Hosts file
* Used Chat Support who advised the above and then advised it was a tech support issue, contacted tech support to be told I would be in a 20 min queue
* Opened up my account, clicked on each heading to find I can access Itunes U and the Mighty Boosh (under TV tab). Clicked on view Column Browser to find I can search for Artists tracks, great if I want a specific track but I still can't search new music.
Still access Itunes homepage though.
Any suggestions please????

For the last 2days when I attempt to rent a movie And my Apple TV attempts to access the iTunes Store I get a message can't connect to server, try again later. I can connect to Netflix, Hulu and all other services. Any help appreciated.

For the last 2 days when I try to rent a movie on my Apple TV the Apple TV attempts to access the iTunes Store and then I get a message saying Apple TV cannot connect to the server at this time. Please try again later. I have no trouble connecting to Netflix, Hulu or any of the other apps. I also have no trouble connecting to the iTunes Store using my iPhone or iPad. In windows 7 click on your start menu, go to the accessories, right click on the command icon and choose "run as administrator"
Once it opens type the following command...
netsh winsock reset
Hit enter and it should say something like winsock reset successful now reboot your computer
IT WORKED....... cleared all the "action2 on the CPU and loads IStore perfectly

Try quitting the App Store:
Tap the home button to get to the home screen. Then double tap the home button, and hold your finger over the App Store icon. Tap the red when it appears. Tap the home button again to return to the home screen.
Try resetting:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

I have had this same problem since uprading to 10.5.1. I just checked 10.5.2 and it's still broken.
Are you behind a proxy server that requires authenication? I am and I was fine with 10.5.1 until I had to change my proxy server password.
Previous versions of iTunes used to prompt for new proxy credentials but the 10.5.x versions don't.
