I need help as quickly as possible

I have updated my Nokia C3-00 software to v 8.63 and now I can't use ovi Chat. Can someone help me with my problem please.
Sorry for my bad English.

1. Do a tour of the software. http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/quicktours/?quicktours/editing/qtfcp_1_dynamicrt
2. The only version that works w/ the MBP is Final Cut 5.1 and FCE 3.5
3. This question makes no sense. One would originally assume you're asking this question so that you can edit a 30+ min. project but your statement is conflicting in regards to your intentions and the fact that you mention the MBP's limitations. Isn't that the reason you're asking about external drives in the first place??? But FWIW one hour of DV-NTSC material is equal to approx. 13 gigs. - you want to set the scratch disk to a disk other than your start-up disk - and I would go w/ the fastest conncetion you can (FW 800/400)
Also search/research are your two best friends with Final Cut.
Good luck!

Hey Hi ! I brought iPhone 5 in Kuwait and now I'm in India now.I noticed my FaceTime option is missing. No option no settings and no data related to FaceTime . I'm very much worried about it. Need help as soon as possible.

Someone could have stolen it in Kuwait...happens all the time .
Seriously...FaceTime is banned there...there is no way to add it back to your phone...if you wanted FaceTime, you should not have purchased your phone there.
BTW: You don't have any warranty or support for this phone in India.

  • BW Archiving- Need help as soon as possible

    Hi,
Can Archiving on ODS be implemented using an ABAP program? If the data is loaded on to flat files and if it is required to reload it back to ODS is ABAP a better choice. If any one has worked on this issue earlier please provide me the information as soon as possible. Any input on this issue will be of great help.
    Thanks,

  • NEED HELP. IS THIS POSSIBLE? IF SO HOW?

Hi. I am on a real big budget here and i am planning ways around this so here goes.
I need to set up a network which will being 100% network based. So users login with accounts being held on the Main server etc.
This is what i want to do. Get a Mac Pro and put OSX SERVER ON IT. This will be my main server. On this server all the admin work such as PA's accounts and accountants etc. I no this can be done and the home directory is on the main server (what i call the control server)
I then want to get aload of Dell PowerEdge SC440 servers and shove aload of 750GB HDS in them at hardware raid 1.
Is it possible to set these up by installing CENTOS on them and via samba or any other protoal call, can there account home directories be on this these servers. EG. the graphics artists would say have an account which there home directory would be on one of the dells servers. We really cant afford a Xserve raid and also if my way is possible it is some much cheaper and its more reduntant. EG If one server fails, the entire network doesn't go down.
    Thanks,

(Please note that my tone here is friendly, lest anyone (sadly) think otherwise)
Look, no offense, but how bass-ackwards it is, to buy a bunch of Desktop towers and try to use them as storage... :P
I'm talking about the Dell PowerEdge SC440's. That makes no sense whatsoever.
Why deal with the bloat of an entire OS, just to try to use the PowerEdge SC440's onboard RAID controller ? o.O
There is very very probably NO way to present any drives in those Dell's to another machine, via fibre-channel. Seriously. They must be hosted by an OS, and that OS will need to be configured for services, fqdn & dns entries, sharepoints, users & groups & priveleges, etc.
If you really do want to do that (so far I'm seeing zero reasons for it), and essentially re-share NFS or CIFS shares for home folders for users on your OS X Server, then let me say this:
Hire a consultant to help you save yourself endless amounts of wasted money (time is money when you start losing lots of time, no matter your budget), and countless numbers of administrative headaches. I don't think you've thought this through from start to finish, no offense intended.
Here's the last of my free advice:
Instead of what you're proposing, consider an Xserve (unless you have no proper dedicated server space and/or no server rack) - but you DO still need a proper climate-controlled space (heat & humidity) for whatever box you choose.
    Then, for data storage, consider:

    or better yet
    http://www.caldigit.com/S2VRHD.asp
(hba is included - also look at their other models)
    or
    http://www.jetstor.com/0201_jetstor_sata516f.html
fnd out if they provide the fibre-host card (probably not) and if not get an Apple-one, one of the new 4GB ones:
    http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?mco=6C0 4E099&nplm=MA462G/A
    or perhaps
    http://www.fibrenetix.com/products/
    http://www.electronix.com/catalog/productinfo.php/cPath/248_249_321/productsid/13703
I believe this company is European which you may or may not be a plus for you in your considerations, based on your location.

  • Need help on quick links

    Hi All,
can anybody please help me on quick links in portal.
    Thanks,
    vinodh

    Hi Vinodh,
Quick links are shortcuts to iViews and pages. Each quick link is a string that you add to the default portal URL in order to navigate to a specific iView or page.
Quick links provide a meaningful name for iViews and pages to which users may want to navigate.
Quick links are created by setting the Quick Link property of a page or iView. They can be assigned to any page or iView navigation node to which navigation is possible.
To view the page or iView, append a slash (/) to the default portal URL, followed by the quick link
The quicklink will appear like below
    http://<hostname>:<port num>/irj/portal/<created quicklink>.

  • Need help, this configuration is possible or not?

    Hi All,
We have Server A, on which Oracle 11g Database is running, and Server B, on which we have TimesTen IMDB installed.
Now the requirement is, on server A, we have two different tables in different schemas, lets say schemaA.TableA had 100 columns, and schemaB.TableB had 50 columns. Now from table A we wanted to take 10 columns and from table B we wanted to take 8 columns, combining these 18 columns, is it possible to cache and store into IMDB?
What will be the approach to have this, any ideas help me out?
    Thanks,
    Sreenivas.

Thank you for your update Chris. I am little bit elaborating my requirement, we have two big tables in our database, and the external application is hitting those two tables data (only specific columns data, not all columns in each table), to simplify the data required for that application, and to reduce the traffic to the Database server we wanted to create this cache table.
    Database Server: Schema A.Table A (100 Columns) Schema B.Table B (50 Columns)
TimesTen Server: I need a table C (20 columns, combination of Table A and Table B). The external application also will access Table C instead of go and hit two tables in Database Server.
So now please help me the possibilities how we can achieve this? Will it be possible or not?
    - Sreenivas.

  • Project -  need help rather quickly

I am doing a 2 minute/ish long small project which will involve images flowing across the screen......with text which appears over them. Thats it taken down to basics.
    http://www.coremelt.com/products/products-for-final-cut-studio/imageflow-demo-re el.html
is pretty much the effect i want to go for, but i am wondering if i can do those type of effects in FCP (i have about 3 weeks) without that plugin?
If so can someone post some type of tutorials, to help a novice out.
If not....i suppose i will need to buy the plugins in the video for £50.
    thanks

Do you have only Final Cut Pro, or also Motion? This sort of animation can be done in either. But if you're not that familiar with the methods to set up the animations and managing all the tracks/objects involved it would certainly take a lot less time to use a canned animation tool like the one you linked to. It depends on whether you're getting paid to do this, I would imagine!

  • Wanted Main window only on Task bar ...Need help as soon as possible

    Hello All,
    We are creating one application.
We have main window(JFrame) with four subwindows.
By clicking buttons on main window the subwindows will be opened.
By using Iconified method we are able to minimise all the subwindows when main window is minimised.
But on the task bar all the windows are showed.
But we want to show main window only on the task bar while minimising
That means all the sub windows should come under main window.
Will Deiconified satifies this condition while maximisation.
    Need some ones help.

Use show() and hide() on your subwindows instead of iconifying and deiconifying them. Minimizing a window should produce exactly the behavior you're seeing. Using the right tool will get you the right result.

  • I need help as soon as possible

Can anyone please help me and explain how can I do this white effect on dark background? Can I do this in Illustrator or I must use Photoshop?
    Thank you.

    1.     Use a black rectangle to make your black background.
    2.     Create your mountain shape using the pen tool.
    3.     Make a ellipse in the shape of your white glow. Set its stacking order to be behind your mountain, but in front of your background (or use different layers).
4     Set the fill of your ellipse to be a radial gradient from white to black.
    5.    Select your ellipse and go to Effect > Texture > Grain. Play with the sliders until you achieve the desired effect. You may need to bounce back and forth between your gradient settings and the texture settings to get it right.
Tip* You can access the settings of the texture effect again after you apply them by going to your appearance palette and selecting it.

The 2008 MacBook uses Mini DVI, and has no FireWire.
    <http://support.apple.com/kb/SP5>
It should work with a Mini-DVI to DVI adspter.
The 2008 MacBook Pro has DVI and FireWire.
    <http://support.apple.com/kb/SP4>
    It shouldn't need any adapter.
    Neither use Mini DisplayPort.

  • New user needs help with quickly opening files

I have a new imac that I purchased 8/2010. Is there a way to open a file or attachment without the download window opening up to enable you to view the file? Is there a setting that would allow me to just click the file attachment (email) like an excel document and it just opens immediately. Im getting a little aggrevated going through all the steps to open and close an attached email file. this is my first mac, so I am learning. Thanks

Is there a "Quick Look" button at the top of the message?
Right-click the attachment and choose "Quick Look".

I can not seen to make my "if statement work" can someone guide me in the right direction.>1) Maybe the if statement is just a little tired. Give it a good night's rest and it will probably do twice the work tomorrow.
Or to put that a less funny way..
Please describe what it was supposed to do, why you thought it would do that, and what it actually did.
    2) Which 'if' statement? There are two if statements in that code.
    3) String comparison should not be done using '==', instead use string1.equals(string2)
    4) Please use the code formatting tags when posting code, and indent code using the common conventions.
    This is what I mean..
