I got a email from soe saying that i need a driver in order to play starwars galaxies. so i have been looking for it but i cant seem to find the right one can someone please help me.

You will want to download the latest driver for the Audigy MP3+ or Gamer (they are the same driver). Go to our driver/downloads section and get the web update drivers. The automatic driver installer may also be able to help you.

I have a Power Mac G4 that is just about out of hard drive space. Why? I have no idea. I only have about 7 MB left of the 512 MB that came on the machine. I have backed up most pictures, documents, etc... to an external hard drive and have barely anything left on the desk top. Does anyone know what might be working 'behind the scenes' to eat up hard drive space or what I can do to gain any back? I'm not a huge 'techie' so any advice past 'empty the trash' would probably be helpful.

I believe you mean GB instead of MB when referring to hard drive size/space.

Need help updating an old driv

I need to update my sound driver for a Dell desktop that's a couple years old. When I tried to check into the correct download I was directed to a page that said there weren't any updates for my driver. I know this is not correct.
I currently have SB Li've 5. version 5.2..24, and the date on it is 8/30/2002. Creative Labs suggested I should have 5.2..203 and if I didn't that I should follow the support link SBL5DL_DRVPack_LBSBL5DL_PCPatch_LB.exe.
and then click "Download Now" button.
When I did that is when I got the "no update" message rather than the correct download.
I know there must be an update. Could anyone tell me which one I need and where exactly I can find it's Your help would be greatly appreciated.

If "Realtek High Definition Audio" is listed under the "Sound, video and game controllers" in the Device Manager then that is your sound driver. Some people have had luck with uninstalling the Realtek HD audio driver from their computer via the Device Manager (be sure to check the "Delete driver software for this "), and then reinstalling it. You can get the latest version of the Realtek HD audio driver from the Realtek download site.
Many of us who have the Realtek HD sound driver have had to make several tweaks to improve the sound. Opening the Realtek HD Manager and enabling Loudness Equalization and setting the equalizer to Powerful helps with some of the low audio issues some of us have experienced with the Realtek HD sound drivers.

I need help finding an old library that it states my ipod is already linked to. My computer recently had a terrible virus and needed to be wiped clean. I had to redownload itunes and I bought several songs. I want to add them to my old library because I had several cd's that I had uploaded. Umm. If you wiped the hard drive, then all old libraries are gone unless you have them on backup.

I have a macbook that needs a new hard drive and need help knowing what hard drives to buy that will be compatible with it. It is a macbook pro 17inch model no: A1297.

Any 2.5" diameter, 9.5mm thick SATA drive will be compatible. Currently they come up to 1.5 TB in capacity. I have a 1 TB Seagate SSHD (hybrid) drive installed in my primary MBP. The cost is a modest premium over a conventional HDD of the same capacity. Boot and shutdown times are significantly faster when compared to a conventional HDD, I can recommend this as an option.
If the bank account permits, an SSD will produce the overall maximum performance gains. Boot, shutdown and resource hungry applications will be noticeably faster. Casualyll use such as e-mails and text editing will produce no meaningful performance differences compared to a conventional HDD.
I am of the opinion that the cost premium is still too high for the benefits that they afford. Other have different views.
