If it is the same app for the iPod and the iPad (universal or iPod/iPhone app) and not a iPad only app, the only way is to restore the iPad from the backup of the iPod. That will wipe out all the app data currently on the iPad though.
If the iPad is an iPad only app, then there is no way.

Can't get pdf to open in lyteframe window

I am using lytebox in my updated website, and one of the lyteframe boxes was to open and frame a pdf file. I had it working in IE, but couldn't get it to work in firefox. It was always forcing me to save the file and wouldn't let me open it.
I gave up on FF and redownloaded Reader 9 to see if I could get it fixed. I still couldn't get the pdf to open inside the frame in FF, but at least it opens in a new window now. Unfortunately now I can't get it to open inside the frame in IE. The javascript works and a frame opens up, but as soon as it opens, the pdf opens in a new window, leaving a blank, white filled empty frame below.
In Reader I have "display PDF in browser" selected, and in IE I have "reuse windows for launching shortcuts" selected in the advanced options settings selected. I don't know what else to do. I have deleted and reinstalled Reader 9, and I still have the same problem, and I also reset IE7 in case it was the problem. It still keeps doing the same thing.
If I can't get this fixed, I'm just going to switch it to html text with a pdf link at the bottom to print, but I would much prefer to just have it link to the original pdf.

the peg[] are JPanels.
I think it's probably in the repaint since the
program waits for the sum total of the sleeptime and
does nothing until the time is over then it displays
the final position after the time is up.Very much possible. You tell the AWT thread to repaint, but right after you tell it to do nothing for a second. It's be easier if there were a correct view-model separation, you could time the changes to the model and the view would paint whatever state the model is in, without the need to wait for anything.

Need help with volume I can't get rid of and terminal

I own a external HD named "elements". One day a second volume appeared named "elements". Every time I tried to save files to my external HD they were written on this mysterious volume. The volume isn't showed on my desktop - only when I try to save something with Opera (browser) or in the terminal I can see it.
I renamed my external HD so I can write files to it. So far so good.
But how can I get rid of this volume? The finder does not show it. Spotlight does noch find it. Only in the terminal I can see this volume and I can see the files in it.
the terminal command "diskutil eject /volumes/elements" or "diskutil unmount force /volumes/elements" did not help.

It sounds like a "false clone" was created on your internal HD, which can happen if the target volume of a backup program becomes unavailable during the copy process.
Try this:
First eject and disconnect all external drives, then:
Finder>Go menu> Go to Folder
enter /Volumes and click Go
Don't touch the alias to your internal HD volume, or any other alias.
If you see "elements," and it is NOT an alias, trash it and empty the trash.

I would like to know if there is a specific website ran by apple that I can log onto and knock out a few SO CALLED authorized computers for playing? I have had repeated problems with one of my windows systems and had to reinstall the entire system, including iTunes, but because of loosing everything and having to reinstall, I was not able to deauthorize the computer. So this one computer is counted like 2 or 3 times and when I try to authorize it, iTunes tells me that I already have 5 authorized and I have to deauthorize 1 in order to get it to function. I don't even have 5 computers ( I wish ), but the problem is as described above. I appreciate any input.

Have them make a zip archive and send to you, or you make a zip archive and send to them. you can do that from Finder on a Mac.
First Click on the PDF in question and the if in a Mac choose from File menu Create Archive.
From PC side have them use Windows zip or PKzip (PKware) and create the archive. Send to the other party.
See if it can be opened after unzipping. If so, then the server the files are going through (ISP or some intervening connection) is misconfiguring the files some way.
If it works then you or the other party on the other end needs to remember to make a zip archive before sending. Generally, There should be no problem send PDFs to a PC from a Mac or from a Mac to a PC. Now if you (either party) are using a different version of Acrobat there may be some differences in Features either can use (the older version can not use use new features added in later versions - But new versions can use all features in the older version.)

Well, I downloaded Skype. Then, i sign in to my account. And an error pops up on my computer screen that said "Skype can't connect. Get help fixing this problem". Someone help me fix this?

Well it all started with Aperture 3 trying to import some photos from my iphone.It took ages to import those photos and like I was in a hurry to finish my work in Illustrator so I tryied to force quit on A3 and it didn´t, so I shut down the computer and started over.it was all ok but I uninstalled the A3 and the I realized the icons were back to original form and a few fonts changed.so I Installed the trial version of A3.I did a restart of the system and then there was.aperture lauching but no dock and a 80% of the icons disappeared, but the names of the files and folder remained.and I cand acces the apps from the apple sign on the left corner.I tried also restarting a few time but it´s always the same.I am a recent user of a mac , and please excuse my bad english.If this is in any way useful please help me!

You can't use iMovie to create a video DVD - for that you need iDVD:

To burn a DVD with iDVD from the latest version of iMovie, you have to export the movie using the Export button and select 480p as the size. Open iDVD and start a new project, then drag that exported movie file into the iDVD menu window, avoiding any drop zones you see.
