ok ladies and gents help me out i need some info on oracle solaris 11 and i havent been able to find it online. here is the stuff i need:
1. Number of Clients Supported-
2. Number of Processors Supported-

4. Support for Windows, Linux, UNIX & Appleclients-
5. Back up capabilities-
if you know anything about this stuff please help me out i would greatly appreciate it. and have a great turkey day everybody.XD

No one will do your work for you, particularly if it is schoolwork.
You would be cheating and whatever grade you might get would be false because it wouldn't be your work.
Here is the link to Oracle's documentation page.
From there you can get to the documentation for Solaris 11.
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/documentation/solaris-11-192991.html
There is a lot of OS documentation there, so you had better start reading.
  It will take some time for you to eventually undertand it all.

    h264.mp4 is actually the most common 'standard' (4000 video 'standards' aaaaand counting)
    mp4 is indeed universal (Mac, Windows, Linux), and since YouTube, the h264 codec has a good installed base .....
    you can bump into probs only when it comes to sheer amount of data:
    for instance cheap 'digital frames' are sortof over-whelmed, if you try to playback 720/30p in high quality.
    I'm not familiar with 21st cent devices as SmartBoards ... again, it could happen, you have to reduce resolution/fps/bit-rate to avoid clutter&stutter in the video.
    I'm using such encoded files successfully on Playstation3, WD HD TV or flatscreenTVs with integrated usb-connection (via stick), etc
    imho, it should work welll .............. < fingers-crossed >

    Is it possible to create a schedule in Labview . Example: i want to off the lights at 7pm and want it on at 8am. If there is can anyone teach, its for a school project. Im using labview 2011...thx

    Since this is a school project I recommend you do the work yourself. You will not learn asking others to do it for you. In addition, folks here will not do your homework for you. We are however more than wiling to answer specific questions for you. Post what you have done or tried and ask specific questions. I am confident you will get assistance.
    And to answer your question, yes LabVIEW can be used to implement a scheduling program.

  • Need example for BAPI query. Please, help.

    Hi,
    badly need help on BAPI_ACC_ACTIVITY_ALLOC_POST.
    Does anybody have some example code for jCO query?
    Thanks.

    Try this code...

           try

           myConnection.connect();
           mRepository = new JCO.Repository("WIPRO",myConnection);

                  myConnection.execute(myFunction);
                  }catch (Exception ex)
                         ex.printStackTrace();
                         System.exit(1);
                myConnection.execute(myFunction);
                JCO.Table codes = null;
                  codes =myFunction.getTableParameterList().getTable("COMPANYCODE_LIST");
                  int size;

    Hope that helps...
    Note: in case for the BAPI that inserts or modified data you must call the BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT also for the changes to get reflected in the Database.
    Please let me if that helps you.

  • For a school project what ideal apple hardware do I need to connect an office of 11 lawyers, 8 paralegals, 7 secretaries, 1 office manager and 1 receptionist?

    Or then again, maybe I misunderstood that question

  • Need help for a school project

    I am new to Oracle/Sql and the last part of my project requires that I use a Stored Procedure to access info from an AUTHORS table. I have followed the guidelines in the assignment but for some reason the Stored procedure is not working. If someone could help I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks.
    public void fillSet(string key)
    if (connect())
    cmd.CommandText = "SELECT TO_CHAR(SALES.ORD_DATE), SALES.QTY, SALES.TITLE_ID, TITLES.TITLE, TITLES. PRICE FROM SALES, TITLES WHERE SALES.TITLE_ID = TITLES.TITLE_ID AND SALES.STOR_ID = :key";
    parm = new OracleParameter("key", key);
    cmd.Parameters.Add(parm);
    reader = cmd.ExecuteReader();
    while (reader.Read())
    ORDER_DATE = (string)reader.GetString(0);
    QUANTITY = (int)reader.GetDecimal(1);
    TITLE_ID = (string)reader.GetString(2);
    TITLE = (string)reader.GetString(3);
    PRICE = (double)reader.GetDouble(4);
    TOTAL = QUANTITY * PRICE;
    AUTHORS = loadStoredProcedure(TITLE_ID);
    loadDataSet();
    reader.Dispose();
    cmd.Dispose();
    oracleConn.Close();
    return;
    else return;
    public string loadStoredProcedure(string match)
    string cmdStr2 = "ALLAUTHORSFORTITLE";
    op1 = new OracleParameter();
    op1.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input;
    op1.Value = (object)match;
    op2 = new OracleParameter();
    op2.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
    op2.Size = 100;
    cmd2 = new OracleCommand();
    cmd2.CommandText = cmdStr2;
    cmd2.Parameters.Add(op1);
    cmd2.Parameters.Add(op2);
    cmd2.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure;
    int code = cmd2.ExecuteNonQuery();  //error here
    String buildit = (string)op2.Value;
    oracleConn.Close();
    return buildit;
    }

    Hi,
    In cases with the same problems do you have, it's recommended to post a break point before the call of the store procedure. And then test the store procedure with this values separately. If you do this you can find out where the problem is.
    Also, is best if you put the output of the console log to see what it's the problem.

    I don't understand you GUI approach at all: you are making a very basic board game. You need not even do an animation loop as a continuously running process. While I have not gone over your code extensively, what your errors and glimpsing at your code says to me is that you don't have your objects being disposed of because they are running--your "while(true)" loop is not being canceled/stopped.
    You need to make a very basic animation loop and look at making your events happen accordingly. You can easily paint your cards/messages over portions of the playing screen and have them age off with a timer or other triggered events--this removes the need of your while(true) loops and runnable objects.
    On the other hand, you do not need to implement runnable nor have a running animation loop with a basic GUI. When you have your "cards" pop up, they need not be objects that implement runnable either, but just basic GUI components.
    Anyways, I'm just at a loss as to your need to have everything implement runnable.

  • Need some help building a game for a school project

    I have to build a game called quads.
    My java knowledge is not the best there is, so i'm looking for some existing code i could use for my game.
    Here are some game details.
    - The game is played by 2 players (on the same computer).
    - both players have 18 square stones.
    - the stones are divided in 4 sides,
    - each side can be shaped, with horizontal- or vertical lines, gray, or black
    - http://213.73.158.54/plaatjes/stones.htm for some preview images
    - player1 has only gray stones, player2 only black.
    - both players have 1 white stone, wich they have to use first.
    - the game is over when one of the players can no longer place one of his stones on the board.
    What i'm looking for,
    I'm looking for a source of a similar game, with:
    - a mouse listener, with te option te rotate the selected stone (0, 90, 180, 270), and to move the selected stone.
    - enable/disable stone collections. (take turns)
    PS. if you don't know where i can find a source similar to this game, sites with game souces are also welcome.
    Thanks alot :D

    - i can't rotate 1 stone (i did rotate them all, but that's a bit useless)
    - i can't make players to take turns.
    - i can't move stones, i can only copy them...
    So if i can't use source codes, does anyone know a tutorial for all this?
    PS. sorry about the dutch code.

  • Doing research for undergrad student project - Please help!

    All
    I'm doing research for a Computer Science project and could use some help. The project we have chosen is to develop a web-based application using web 2.0 techniques like AJAX. Not sure if the details of the application are pertinent to my question, so I won't post them at this point. Basically, we are trying to make a personal web finance app in a browser, similar to http://www.buxfer.com.
    We are currently working through the software engineering phases of development, but we need to decide what our server platform will be and put something together.
    I recently attended a Sun Developer Days conf in Atlanta, and I like a lot of the new "web stack" support that is offered. Here is what we are thinking of using:
    Server apps:
    Operating System:     Solaris 10 (should we go with opensolaris? whats the difference?)
    Application Server:     Glassfish (Java EE 5) (or should we use Tomcat?)
    Web Server:     Sun Java System Web Server (or should we use Apache?)
    Database:          MySQL (or should we use Postgre?)
    Version Control:     Subversion (is this needed? will have 5 students collaborating on project)
    Client developer tools:
    IDE:          Netbeans 6
    Web 2.0 Framework:     GWT (Google Web Tookit)
    Does this stack make sense?
    Are there any tutorials or guides to help me set this up???
    thanks,
    overwhelmed student

    Server apps:
    Operating System:     Solaris 10 (should we go with opensolaris? whats the difference?)OpenSolaris is a moving target, Solaris in theory is not. But then again, why not Windows, *BSD or any flavor of Linux?
    Application Server:     Glassfish (Java EE 5) (or should we use Tomcat?)Tomcat is a "reference" platform. From what I've seen Glassfish is the "next" version. Why not BEA or Websphere?
    Web Server:     Sun Java System Web Server (or should we use Apache?)Or Zeus for that matter.
    Database:          MySQL (or should we use Postgre?)Or Oracle of MS SQL server or Sybase?
    Version Control:     Subversion (is this needed? will have 5 students collaborating on project)Or CVS.
    Client developer tools:
    IDE:          Netbeans 6
    Web 2.0 Framework:     GWT (Google Web Tookit)There is nothing to help anyone give you tips on which way to go. A simple list of software is just a simple list of software. As you flesh out your project you also need to flesh out which each app can provide and hopefully then things get easier. You list no reason why you should tilt towards one app or another. Start with cost and go from there.

  • Is there any possible way I can download Microsoft powerpoint on my MacBook Pro OS X for free? I need it for lots of projects of my school.

    Dear Apple Inc.
         I would like to know if there is any possible way I can download Microsoft Powerpoint on my MacBook Pro OS X for free? I hope you can reply as soon as you can so I can be able to do all the projects being presented to me from school on Microsoft Powerpoint.
    Thank you,
         April Navarro

    These are user forums. You are not speaking to Apple here. You cannot get MS products for free. You can purchase the student version of Office for OS X from MS. You can download a 30 day free trial that you can fully activate by purchasing a license key for $139.00.
    You can download a free copy of Libre Office which is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows but runs on Macs. I don't know how compatible the presentation module is to Powerpoint.

  • Help with a school project please

    Finally got the code to compile without errors, but now it is giving me a null pointer exception and I can't see it (blind, maybe)
    Can someone help me see what I have done wrong?

    Your stack is null. It only gets initialised inside the Calc2 constructor but since you never create a Calc2 object the stack will remain null.
    Also never use == to compare Strings, use the equals method instead.

  • After upgrading to Maverick, my computer will not upgrade from 10.6.8 to 10.9.5 My editing software will not run on my current version and I need this for my job! Please any help would be SO greatly appreciated!

    Computer won't upgrade to 10.9.5 after Mavericks update.

    This is all a little confusing now...let's stop and get the basics down so Chris and I are on the same sheet of paper:
    What MacBook Pro do you have and how much memory and how much free space on the hard drive?
    From the apple left side of the menu bar, About This Mac, More Info, System Report, Hardware and what does it show for Model Identifier?
    You currently have Mac OS X 10.6.8 installed, downloaded 10.9.x from the Mac App Store?  If so there should be an Installer for Mac OS X in the Finder, Applications folder if it has not yet installed.  Exactly what does it give as the name for the installer and how big is it, should be a little larger than 5 GB.
