Check settings>iCloud, settings>messages and settings>FaceTime. Don't use the same apple id in all devices.

By default, ML no longer comes with the Java runtime preinstalled. I believe the route to enabling Java if you are going to need it is to run the Java Preferences app found in Utilities. It will inform you of Java's absence and offer to install the latest version and activate it. On subsequent runs, the Preferences app will allow you to fine tune how the runtime operates.
Note that the new default operation is for the applet plugin to be disabled. You need to enable it as needed and it self-deactivates if unused in awhile. Also important to note that Java comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions and you can set the preferred order. Default is 64-bit but I've had issues with some applets failing to run and have had to switch the order.

I think you'll find that iPhoto will recognize your Rebel and load it's pictures (does for my RebelXT). If you don't want to use iPhoto, then yes, you'll need to download the software that came on a disk with the camera, and possibly update it (from the Canon site) based on the operating system you're running.

Hi,
To have OEPE with the plugins for OSB you actually have to install Weblogic with OEPE and OSB. OEPE will need the libraries in Weblogic and OSB installation...

Need Help with the Total and Grand Total

I have posted a question couple of days ago regarding the COUNT and AVERAGES, for a minute i thought i got the work around, but the problem still exists. I'm trying to find the average work done and average revenue generated. I have to do this by the location,
employee id , date and the number of hours. Below is a sample for february 2014. I have two averages for the work done AvgWorkDone=(sum of work done/count of workingdays in month), the second one is AverageWorkDone1... which i skewed by multiplying by 16 (since
there are 16 hours in my data per day) Please need help

If you see the above report the number of days are adding upto 368, this causes the Individual Averages to be fine but the GrandToatl of the Average is messed up. If i multiply by 16 the Individual Averages are messed up, but the GrandAverage is coming RIGHT.
Please need help where i can get both the individual and the grand averages right.

Hi All,
Finally i found a solution. a) I have a time dim from the ware house and its joined to the fact table based on the dateid, since the fact table is getting only the data for the working days , the ware house time dim is showing only those days as count.
b) I created a new time dim in SSAS TIMEDIMSSAS
c) I joined the new TIMEDIMSSAS to the warehouse time dimension and the fact table and created new measure AvgWorkDone over time and Avg Rev over time.
I'm getting what i wanted. BUT here is a new problem , when i select multiple months the grand total (which should be Average is showing wrong average and i'm not sure why), can anyone please help ?

The values were supposed to be (1.59+.97+9.52)/3=4.02 and NOT 4.17 for Revenue. Similarly for WorkDone (105.79+64.66+634.55)/3=268.33 and NOT 277.68
Please can some one suggest what is going wrong here?

I need help installing the Flash player

problem I'm having is that at first there was a problem with the Active X so I followed one of the feeds to uninstall all of any different types of the program just in case there was mixed versions of the software and then reload the software after a reboot of the system. Now I'm getting different problems. The first was that the program couldn't find the DSOUND.dll file so I downloaded a copy of it and put it into my SYSTEM and SYSTE32 file folder that went away. Now I'm getting that it can't open the KERNEL32.dll file, the file is on the system and I copied the most recent date of the file into the SYSTEM, and SYSTEM32 file folder. I still get that it can't register the Active X and it won't load. This is a Hewlett Packard system running Windows XP Professional SP3. So if one of the techies could tell me what to do from here I would be most appreciative. Thank You Tim

Hi, If you are getting that message, then that is normally a permissions issue. This thread has Instructions for Uninstalling and Installing FP for IE. You can try that and if you still get that message, then that same thread has another procedure which you'll see.
AVG has a LinkScanner that can conflict and a couple of other, 3 I think in the browser. They don't block the Install of the ActiveX Control but may interfere with viewing Flash content.

Alright, I've figured out the IP addresses, I think.
My printer's is 192.168.1.105. I know this because it's on the printer's control panel.
Now, when I look at my network connection in system preferences, it says 122.127.104.156.
Do I understand correctly that the third set of digits, 1 and 104 respectively, are the subnet and the subnet for the two devices need to be the same?
The IPv4 is configured using PPP. Am I meant to configure it manually and set up an IP address for this location using the subnet 104? In which case, I need to assign a unique number to my Mac for the final series. And it must be different from any other device running through this here router.
That seems like it should be pretty easy. If it's just my mac, the Windows system, and the printer on this network, don't I have the choice of any number except three between 1 and 244?

I need to play a DVD that was created on a microsoft machine on my Mac and need help finding the right converter software.

I think I understand now. The DVD has an auto start player (exe) that steps through the video's, html, whatever. Your gonna need windows or you'll be forced to look at the individual pieces seperately. Html's you can open, idx files are subtitles, the video format is avi I'm guessing or maybe wma.
Try this first, get the VLC player from video_lan. It's a great tool to have in your toolbox. It should play the video files at least (including subtitles). VLC can play almost any format.

That looks like the install files for a windows operating system.
You would need the photoshop elements 6 disk for a mac operating system.

I need help with the sync and the new update.

I have had 3 new updates recently. I'm now into iTunes 8.1-8.6 or something. I've got two problems that I can't find answers for in the help.
First off, The new iTunes is pink with a black side-bar. I was wondering if there is a way to change it back to white and gray.
Next, when I plug my iPod into the coputer, it says that it has detected the iPod, but can't read it. It then tells me to unplug it and try again. I have done this over 300 times, over two months. It dosn't work. My iPod still dosn't read, and I now have almost twice as many songs on iTunes, as I do on my iPod.
Please help.

My computer tells me iTunes 8.0 is the most current version. I'll assume that's what you're running, but you can check by opening iTunes and going to Help > About iTunes.
You can resolve the color issue by:
Open your Control Panel
Click "Switch to Classic View" on the left
Open the Display icon
Choose the Settings tab
Move your color settings to highest: 32-bit

I need help witht the fan and usb.

Ok Hi. a few weeks ago i finished doing one of the updates my computer gave me and by the way im not very computer literate sorry. and ever since then the fan run all the time very loudly and the bottom heats up pretty hot. and on top of that the usb ports dont work. i tried plugging in my ipod and it didnt show up in itunes or on my desktop. any help?

Yeah this is a sign of some kind of hardware or management failure, it's possible one of your fans is no longer working. When you reboot hold "D" and run the diagnostics to see if perhaps there is something you can do about it. But my best advice is to not turn it on at all because that many things going wrong at once is a very serious problem.
Call your local Applestore and see if they have an opening for you.
