I need help making my gradient fill the width of my browser

How do i set the background to fit my browser? I don't want grey margins... Right now im using a gradient on my web pages background fill but Id like it to fit the whole browser.. i dont want it to have margins..Any ideas?

As mentioned above, make sure that your "Browser Fill" is what you are applying the gradient to:

How do I make a horizontal bar stretch to always fill the width of the browser outside of the wrappe

When I enter 100% in the width field it will fill to the wrapper which is at 1000px, I want just certain Horizontal Bars to fill the width of the browser at all times.
Example is at http://www.hollywoodunderground.com - the bars below the header/links and the bar above the footer. Trying to figure out how to get both of those to always fill the width of the browser while still maintaining the original wrapper for all of the other content. Do I just find a way to get those 2 bars outside of the wrapper into a new wrapper or do I do it within the wrapper?

You would have to set up your construction a bit differently.
You would put the logo and the social media icons in their own <div> set to 1000px, margin 0 auto to horizontally center it

Then you would have your black bar <div> set to width: 100% (no need to set this though as it will fill the available space).

Is it possible to fill the width of the browser without creating horizontal scrolling?

I'm trying to fill the width of the browser with placed images across the page so that they bleed off. But as soon as I reach the edge of the working area and then preview it just scrolls to show empty white space.
I'm trying to achieve the effect that if you're viewing on a wide screen monitor the you'll see all the images, but if viewed on a smaller monitor the images will just bleed off with no option to horizontally scroll.
Is it possible?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, create a rectangle at 100% width, either by clicking the 100% width icon or dragging the edges out to the edge of the browser space until the edge turns red. Now go to the Fill Panel and select Add Image. Choose your image. Set the location to Centre. Set the Fitting to Original Size - this will prevent the image from resizing with the browser. You'll need to make sure the images are wide enough to fill the screen, of course.

How can I stop the add multiple bookmarks pop up from filling the width of the screen?

Whenever I try to add more than one link to my bookmarks, the pop up that asks to add those links fills the width of the screen. It happens when I try to add all the current tabs to bookmarks, as well as when I use the add on, multi links. This makes it really hard to add links because I have to go to the other side of the screen to find the ok button.
I want to resize the pop up to a more managable size. However, even though I should be able to resize it, I cannot figure out how. I've also tried minimizing it, but the next time I tried to gather more bookmarks, it was back to the big size again.

Needing help making a Slideshow in Premiere 7

Back in 2008 several contributors on this forum helped me make a slideshow using Photoshop Elements 6 and Premiere Elements 4, which I am forever grateful for. It was a long process as I had never made a slideshow before, but after much labor I created a wonderful slideshow of my Alaska photos with music. After a lot of reading I decided to upgrade to Elements and Premiere 7, which I was able to actually do for free. I purchased the Muvipix.com Guide to Adobe Premiere Elements 7 as I was told this would be a great resource to help me out. Well, here I am two years later trying to make a slideshow again and still as confused as ever. I am trying to make the slideshow in Adobe Premiere Elements, as I was told last time it was easier to do it that way if I wanted to add music to it. I am just getting started and am already confused.
My first question is: Am I best off making the slide show in Premiere Elements rather than Photoshop Elements? I want to add music to it.
I have tried using both the book that came with the program and the Muvipix book and I am lost on step one.
In the Adobe manual it says to deselect the Show Video and Show Audio buttons. Why do I need to deselect these?
In the Muvipix book it tells me to select a number of clips amd then either right-click on them or click on the ">>" button to access the "Create Slideshow" too. I can't find the ">>" button. How do I access the the "Create Slideshow" feature?
I have a question about the stills that show up in the panel. Many actual photos appear in this panel. However, there are also a large group of boxes with two swirling arrows, one green and one red. Why are they there rather than actual photos? I have tried double clicking on a few and they all bring up the same photo folder from "my pictures." I am confused.
Sorry if my questions seem very basic, but this is not what I do for a living. It is a once every couple of year hobby. Perhaps if I ever get it downpat I will do it more often.

These photos were still on the harddrive. I checked in Photoshop Elements and they needed to get reconnected. Here is what I think happened. When I download my photos, they go into MY PICTURES. When I move them from where they automatically get placed by the program, into a folder of my choice, they seem to get "unconnected". I was able to reconnect them and now they appear in Premiere Elements. Thanks for the tip which actually led me to a solution.

I am just starting and I was using Premiere Elements 7. I thought I was told back in 2008 on this forum it was easier to do it all in Premiere Elements if I wanted to add music rather than creating it in Photoshop Elements and then moving it to Premiere. As far as photo size, I am a real beginner here. I have no idea what size they are or where to look to find that out. All I know is that my Alaska slideshow turned out great and did nothing about changing pixels. Where would I find out how to change pixel size?

I did read about Show Docking Headers and did follow that instruction. That was the first thing I did, actually. However, when I am in Premiere ELements, I still don't see where I find the Create Slideshow tool that you mention on p. 59. I am a bit confused with this option. I can move the photos I want from the panel to the Timeline, but I am confused as to where the "Create Slideshow Tool" is located.

It's possible if you computer is not authorized with your iTunes Store account it may not have transfered your purchases from the iPad to the computer. To check, Open iTunes> Select the "Store" menu along top of the program and select Authorize this computer. Sign in with your AppleID and password, this will make sure your computer is authorized for the future so you can transfer purchases from your device.

I need help making a mailserver.

Hey all, this is my first post on the Arch-Linux forum. As you can tell by my title, I would like to allow this computer (running arch, as you may have guessed) to work not only as a desktop machine, but also an e-mail server, with the possibility of expansion in the future. I've found some guides, but I do have some questions, so I decided to ask them here.
First off: Will this even work? The guides to do this that I've seen recommend a server-based distribution, like ubuntu server edition, to do this. I'm making the assumption that this desktop system can do it as well, but I'm not sure.
Second: To do this, and be able to access it from a remote location (my ipod at a wifi hotspot, or a friend's house, for instance), will I need to register a domain name, or is there an easier way?

You can install the mail-services on any computer. It doesn't matter if it is a "server" or a "desktop".

But please keep in mind, that making services aviable trough the internet implies a much higher security-risk than just having a linux box behind a firewall. Especially mail-servers need elaborate configuration - don't let your box become an open mail relay...

Need help recording three shows at the same time

I have the FiOS DVR, and have a problem this TV season. There are 3 shows that we watch that are on at the same time. if we are home that night, we can record two on the DVR and watch the other in another room. Not ideal, but we can handle it. But if we are out, we are hosed. I have an old series 1 Tivo that I would think I could factor in here....which I could timer record on a different TV. Any way to do it on my regular TV? Not sure how I could hook up the Tivo with the DVR and the rest of it.

I have a similar setup with a Replay.
You will need to get a Verizon Digital Adapter for $3.99 per Month and an IR Blaster for your Tivo.
Connect the Digital Adapter (DCT-700) to the FIOS Coax (May need to use a Splitter). Connect the Composite Out cables from the DCT-700 to the Tivo. Connect the IR Blaster from the Tivo to the front of the DCT-700. Configure the Tivo and tell it you have FIOS Cable and Digital Adapter. You may need to find the right codes to use to control the FIOS box from the Tivo.
Once you get it configured you will be able to tell the Tivo to record the 3rd program and it will switch the box to the channel and record it. If the box is near your other Verizon STBs you will need to hide it or cover the IR Sensor so that the remote for the main STB does not control the Digital Adapter.
As an added bonus you can connect the Coax Out from the DCT-700 to your Main TV if it has PIP and now you have a 2nd input source to make PIP work.
