Has any had you try a reset yet? Sometimes the WiFi & Cellular anntennas get wacky.

I have been uploading my old cd's to iTunes and it worked fine. suddenly it will not show the window "do you want to load this cd" What have i done wrong ?

i am a new boy to itunes and have been loading my old cd collection.
Mostly it goes fine - AS LONG as the window "do you want to upload this (Elvis) cd to itunes" appears.

for purchases from the iTunes store do this:
connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

Yep, and it still didn't work.
But I figured what I did wrong: I was selecting both the text and the heart, and then I was doing the whole Object>Wrap Text>Make thing, as opposed to just selecting the heart and doing it. Once I did it, I moved the heart around on top of the text, and it "made room" for the pic, wrapping itself around the heart.

You can only sync to 1 computer at a time.
To put the music on it from the other computer, you switched the sync computer to that one.
If the music was purchased from iTunes and is under the same ID as your home computer, why don't you go into iTunes, open the store, click on the purchased link and download it from there?

I tried renting a movie last evening & wasn't able to. This evening I rented the sa,e movie & it was playing fine but is now frozen part way through. I can rewind but cannot forward & it keeps freezing in the same spot. Thanks in advance for any help.

I noticed a filed called h264daemon in my allowed firewall options. I didn't put it there. Is this malware? I can't delete it but only turn it off. Thanks in advance for any help.

From Apple support, I found out this file is in the operating system folder. Apple support is satisfied that it's not a virus because a virus wouldn't be mixed with the operating system files. I only have familiarity with PCs and know that malware frequently disguises itself within the Windows operating system. Are there any out there who are adept with OS X 10.8.2? There must be someone. I mean, people code software for new Macs all the time. Anything would be helpfull: a book, an article--anything. I don't want to spend money on an antivirus program that may not even work and probably also slow down my computer. I went through all the major antivirus programs on my PCs. All of them allowed malware to get onto my computers. And what's worse, they couldn't delete the viruses. They would just give complicated instructions that involved manually editing the registry in Windows. The primary reason I bought a Mac is that I was told at a Mac retail store that I don't need an antivirus program; that the operating system is designed with built in barriers to malware. I thank anyone in advance for help.

Periodically delete all apps from the recently-used bar (double clickHome button) and power off and then back on the iPod. With iOS 5, the iPod uses more memory (do not confuse with storage) and periodically you have to reclaim memory for use.

I strongly recommend you use compressor to do the conversion (if it will open the files - since quicktime will open them, it will more than likely do it.
Compressor allows you to customize presets and save them and apply them to multiple files. Although the interface may seem daunting, it's actually pretty simple.
Even if you can edit the avi in fcp, it's not a good idea. Liable to cause problems down the road.

I have an iPad 3, iPad Mini and iPhone 5S and they are all sluggish on capitalisation using shift keys. I hope that Apple will solve the problem because it is driving me crazy.
I find using a Microsoft Surface and Windows 8 phone, which I also have, work as well as all the ios devices before the ios 7 upgrade.
It has something to do with the length of time that you need to hold the shift key down. The shift key needs to be held longer than the letter key for the capitalisation to work. For some reason, this is a major change in the way we have learnt to touch type on computers. I am having to relearn how to type!

The only reason I have any space now is because the music that I had downloaded and synced onto my phone from iTunes I had to take it all off. In Finder's Menu, select Go menu>Go to Folder, and go to "/volumes". (no quotes)
Volumes is where an alias to your hard drive ("/" at boot) is placed at startup, and where all the "mount points" for auxiliary drives are created for you to access them. This folder is normally hidden from view.
Drives with an extra 1 on the end have a side-effect of mounting a drive with the same name as the system already think exists. Try trashing the duplicates with a 1 or 2 if there are no real files in them, and reboot.
