I need help trying to restore the purchase.

I downloaded a Artist lesson and it stopped during the download I could not find it anywhere and so I downloaded the latest version of garageband and it won't let me restore any previous purchases. The restore purchase section is grey and won't let me click on it. Please help!

Is the "Download more sounds" button active? See

If neither of these buttons is active, there may be a problem with your Apple ID. Are any restrictiins active? Are you in the same conutry you were, when you bought GarageBand?

I'm guessing that you want to activate the device but you can't because the person that you bought it from didn't erase it properly. You will need their help for this. any information i could recieve from Geek Squad would be appreciated. i have my computer purchased from best buy that i'm happy with, but my cousin's computer died with the unmountable boot volume error. i want to use my computer to fix his, or if possible fix his directly from the internet. any assisstance in this would be nice. thank you.

this Unmountable Boot Volume error is not always fixed by simply reinstalling
the Operating System (OS). In fact, you may need to back up the drive using an
external USB Hard Drive Enclosure. Even
then the drive may not be readable if there are physical errors/damage, and
this is nearly impossible to do over the internet since they likely cannot boot
the computer? If there is important
information on the drive I would recommend taking it to a professional such as Geek
Squad® before attempting anything. Best

The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone.Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.

It sounds as if your iphone has been hacked/unofficially unlocked and has now been locked back to the rightful carrier.
You would have to contact the carrier to whom the iphone is locked to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.

i changed my passcode and typed in the wrong passcode to get in my phone and has put a lock on it. i went to itunes to restore it and it says i need to put the passcode in on my phone first to select my device through itunes. im not able to put in my passcode trough my phone.

It will only do that if that is not the computer you normally sync with, or if you set the passcode since the last time you synced with that computer.
Google "iPhone recovery mode". You will need to force it into recovery mode and restore.

CCleaner, out of no where, decided to delete most of my Firefox history the last time I used it. There's a tiny part of my browser history that's still there, but most of it's gone. If someone can PLEASE help me, you have no idea how grateful I would be.

Firefox doesn't keep backup copies of the history like is done with the bookmarks, so if you didn't create such a backup yourself then you are probably out of luck.
I don't know if Windows keeps previous (shadow) copies of the places.sqlite file.

This has happened to me a couple of times and what I do is quit iTunes and restart my Mac and then try again and then it will work.
If iTunes has already created the backup, you should still be able to restore from the backup when you are connected to iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes and select restore from backup. After the process completes, sync with iTunes to transfer all of your apps, music, photos and other media back onto the iPad.

If you want to solve your problems, unjailbreak. And don't do it again, because jailbreaking causes problems as you read about in that article. You can try Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Is the app still in your country's store (if it isn't then you won't be able to redownload it), you haven't changed countries since buying it (content is tied to the country as well as the account), and it isn't hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919 ?
If the app is no longer in your country's store then do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ?
