Im not sure which generation it is or whatever but I do not have a camera on mine. anyways i am trying to figure out how to udate it from 3.3 to 4 or higher.

You connect it to iTunes on a computer and check for updates. If iTunes says none are available, it can't be updated further.

That is how a picture-package works. You can make a custom package and drag specific photos into each cell.

i upgraded my os to the latest lion os on 39th NOV . But unfortunately i had to reinstall the os back ( A big story ) .
so i reinstalled and brought it back to 10.7.1
Now when i try to open iphoto it says i need os > 10.7.2
every other ilife apps are opening .

If you are restoring from an icloud backup you are going to have to erase a content and setting and while in the setup prompts you will get the option to restore from an icloud back...that's the only time you will get the option to restore from an icloud back and that's during setup

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

I'm trying to update from Snow Leopard 10.6.8.. I reviewed the specifications and I meet them. So I went ahead and bought Lion 10.7.2 Update Combo. Apparently I need 10.7.(which no longer exists).. So I downloaded 10.7.1 and I received the same message I received from the first download. I've checked several other posts about this, and each and every solution tells me that I need to buy it(upgrade) and make sure specifications have been met. Can someone help?

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.

3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the Steps in this article to force the device into Recovery Mode.

iOS 4.3.3 doesnt have the "Update your Software" tab so you will need to go to itunes and back up your iphone then restore your iphone and it will download the latest iphone software (6.1.4) if you dont want 6.1.4 download your current version and hit shift on your keyboard (alt if your on Mac I think) and click restore iphone and find your downloaded software 4.3.3 then download iOS 5 or 6 and do the samething after your phone boots up from restoring it to 4.3.3.

The download process NEVER ends.
2 screen shot are attached.
In the 2nd you clearly see some counter overrun (65518MB / 17MB).
I have already: uninstalled; download new version; installed.
Same scenario.
Any clue here?
