I need help uninstalling CS6 - have tried all the usual with no joy

I need to uninstall Cs6 for a reinstall as it is misbehaving.
But when I try to uninstall the message keeps appearing that Uninstall FAiled and to use the cleanr - done it, quit all programmes - none running, not even virus software etc, restart - done it numerous times
contact customer services for assistance
I am doing it now!!!
Can you help with this. The software is deactivated and everything looks good to uninstall.

install over your current installation to reinstall your uninstaller.
you can then uninstall, clean (Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6) and do a proper installation.

If neither of the above and you don't have the CD and can't find your tracks on the computer then they you're stuck. A file recovery utility will cost $100, plus another $100 for an external drive to which to resue the files, and may not even work. You can buy a lot of CDs for $200.

Can't play purchased songs even on an authorized computer. I have tried all the fixes with no help.

I just recently purchased a new computer running Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded the latest edition of itunes, and transfered all of my old itunes purchases from my XP computer onto this new computer. The problem that I am having is that I am being prompted for my password everytime I try to play purchases on this new computer, even though I get a message telling me that this computer is already authorized to play purchases under this account. Whenever I try to play the song, I keep getting this same message everytime I enter my password. It also seems I am unable to deauthorize the machines that were authorized using one of the old accounts that I made purchases on in the past. When I go into my itunes account under the username and try to "deauthorize all computers" nothing happens, and it still tells me that I have 5 out of the available 5 computers authorized, even after I try to deauthorize all of them. I have mainly noticed the problem on the older songs that I purchased. Most of the recently purchased songs don't re-prompt me for my password when trying to play them. I have tried all the suggested fixes on the support webpage such as deleting the "SC" folder and changing the security slider settings, but the problem keeps coming up. Can anyone offer a suggestion on how to fix this problem and how to try again to deauthorize all computers and then reauthorize this particular new computer running Windows 7? Thanks for the help!

Sync not working for long time (have tried all the usual suggestions)

Sync stopped working for me months ago and I have not been able to get it to work again.
I'm using Firefox 26 on two different Linux laptops and want to keep the bookmarks and history synced with them. It worked great for a long time. Then around Firefox 25 or so it stopped working. In fact, I logged into an old Linux system I hadn't used in while that still runs Firefox 24 (or maybe it's 23) the other day and it synced great with my laptop I usually use.
I have tried all the suggestsion in the troubleshooting guide (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-sync-troubleshooting-and-tips). I tried unlinking all of my devices and linking them again. That worked to sync both laptops once, when I first relinked them, but never again. I tried creating entirely new profiles on both systems and that didn't help.
Is Sync just broken? Why does it continue to work fine in older version of Firefox but none of the last three versions or so? Is there any way to fix this?

I am not using a proxy server.
Neither system is syncing with the other. It seems like they are both uploading (backing up) the history and bookmarks properly, but then not merging and syncing the changes from the other system. I know things are getting uploaded, because as I said, my third system that I don't use much anymore, with the older version of Firefox, does merge changes in history and bookmarks from the other two systems.

"Firefox is already running but not responding" - have tried all the usual solutions.

The message I'm getting is the standard: "Firefox is already running, but is not responding." I'm using a PC with Windows 7.
I've tried:
- Opening task manager and manually ending the process. This didn't work because the process is not listed in applications, processes, or services.
- Deleting the parent/lock file. This didn't work because the file is not in any of the firefox folders. I've checked APPDATA/Local/Firefox as well as APPDATA/Roaming/Firefox, and the original install folder just to be thorough. It's not a hidden file either - I have those set to display.
- Creating a new profile and importing settings from the old one. I can't import settings because the old profile is still running.
- Restarting before and after each of these potential solutions, including restarting in safe mode, shutting off the computer and waiting a bit before restarting, etc.
All I really want back are my bookmarks, which I've spent quite a while creating. Unfortunately, there is no file I can find for the default profile that has the bookmarks stored. When I created a new profile, a folder appeared with its name in the APPDATA/Roaming/Firefox folder, with all of the bookmarks, etc. There is no such folder for the default profile though - which is the one I want. I've even tried switching to Chrome and importing bookmarks, but that doesn't work because the bookmarks can't be imported while Firefox is still running.

If there is no profile present then you also get that error about "Firefox is already running but not responding"
If you uninstalled Firefox at any time in the past and removed your personal data or deleted that profile folder yourself then you no longer have a profile to start with or restore files from.

IPhone apps not opening - have tried all the usual fixes

A few days ago I got my iPhone unlocked from my provider (Telstra) as I am about to travel and wanted to put a country specific sim in it. Since then no non-Apple apps have worked.
I have tried (many times) to :-
1. restore from a previous backup (plus multiple syncs) and using different backups
2. delete an app and reinstall it
3. download a new free app (and when that didn't work I deleted it and retried installing it)
4. sign in and out of the app store on the iphone
5. sign in and out of the app store on my iMac
6. de-authorise and re-authorise my iMac
7. wipe the iPhone clean and start with a fresh install
8. And reset the device too many times.
Nothing I have found on any site has worked. I thought the wipe the phone clean would have done it but it hasn't.I have wasted about 20 hours trying to get this thing working again.
If I wasn't going on vacation tomorrow I would be at my provider getting them to fix their mess but I can't.
Can anyone help? Please?

Further - the AppleId I am using is the one I first started with years ago - where all my music and app purchases have been made. Signing out of this AppleId and then signing in using my "me.com" address and downloading an app under this address allows the new app (and only the new app) to work. And it continues to work when I sign out and sign back in with the original AppleId.
This is really annoying as I have heaps of paid apps that aren't working.

Happened once before - funnily enough when doing an update back in November - I had to visit an Apple store to have the phone restored. found the real problem.
In my laptop where it couldn't detect the iphone and ipad, this folder is missing:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
The ipad was wrongly using a microsoft driver.
I found the correct drivers in:
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\usbaapl64.inf_amd64_neutral_c111a aecb61e9a2b
Copy the contents to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers
After that, I had to update the driver for Ipad in device manager.
Ipad was found under: "Removable Devices", as a storage device.
Once that is fixed, itunes can detect ipad, and I can restore it.
Apple should really look into ensuring that folder doesn't go missing during itunes update process.

in Finder, my iMovie folders are all visible and accessible. When I click on a clip from iMovie Events folder, Quicktime opens and plays the clip. ALL my video is not missing - it just isn't showing up in the Event Library!
This happened all of a sudden, while I was working on iMovie project (on both computers).
All my Projects are intact, and play when I open them.

My iPad 2 is not recognised by iTunes. I have tried all the steps as mentioned by the support communities. I have spent lot of time trying to diagnose the problem but no success yet. I need immediate help. I have my laptop with windows XP.

I have tried all the steps as suggested by the community partners i.e. uninstall/reinstall itunes (number of times). If I plug my ipad 2 on my office PC which has itunes, it is recognised immediately. My lap top does not show 'NEW HARDWARE FOUND" as iPad. It just says new hardware found and shows scanner and camera hardware recognised. In my opinion there could be programme file which is having conflict with ipad 2 recognisation. I am surprised to find that APPLE has not yet come out with straightforward steps for stting up procedures to avoid this recognition issue. It is waste of time and causing lot of aggravation among iPad 2 purchasers.

Sounds like it could be your computer and not Apple. Sounds like some registry issues and/or other underlying problems.
What are your computer specs? Year? Manufacturer? RAM? Processor (type & speed, # of cores), OS (32 bit? 64 bit? Professional? Standard?)

If i understand what you are saying then you are seeing the WiFi indicator after connecting but Apps are saying that they are not connected to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be to restart your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.

I'm having a very similar issue, paired with iTunes not being able to get online.
iTunes shows up in processes and then hangs at 17,000 K or so -- sometimes it will start up, but that (if it occurs) is a delay of literal hours.
Pretty meticulously went through all the 'cannot connect' trouble shooting, and have uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled every piece of apple software; issue is just as firm. Starting in safe mode or admin mode don't fix it; signing in as a different user doesn't fix it.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging).
