I Need Help With My Weather App

I use the weather app a lot. The current location weather isn't working properly. It shows the correct weather but it's not the correct name of this specific location. How do I fix it to show the correct name of the place? (It's one specific place)

Ruby1316, I understand your problem because I have it as well. I no longer have a proper "current" location page on my weather app. I formerly had three locations that I had defined. These were in addition to the default "current location" which would change whenever my location changed. So if I was in State College, Pa., it would give me the current temperature for State College, Pa. But if my location changed to Pittsburgh, Pa., and I pulled up my weather app, my "current location" would change to Pittsburgh. That no longer happens. All I have is weather for the cities I defined. There is no way to add the "current location" back in. And yes, I have location services turned on.

Need help with an in-app purchase

Every time I try to do an in-app purchase it says that it can't go through and please contact iTunes support. I have money on my card and I did do other in-app purchase but that should not matter. And the app that I'm trying to do the in-app purchase is turbo tax 2012. Don't know if that matters or not. Don't know if I am just supposed to wait until the weekend is over to continue my purchases because the other purchases are still pending since it is the weekend.

I once had an issue with an in app purchase not working. I needed to restart the iPad. Try giving it a reboot. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps.
Beyond that, is it possible that in app purchases have been disabled? They can be disabled in restrictions.
If that's not the case, maybe it's an issue with turbotax and maybe you should contact them, see if they're holding things up somehow.

Need help with my facebook app on my BB 9810

Hello everyone! I need help because i have been trying to remove the stupid apps from posting on my facebook, more precisely on the NEWS FEED OF MY FACEBOOK APP. Now i did go and block each and every stupid app from my facebook profile on the cpu, and ut did do something as they no longer appear when i log in on my cpu. But, for the love of me they STILL appear on my facebook app and i CANT GET RID OF THEM!!! I went as far as to uninstall and re-install my facebook app thinking it would somehow update itself to my profile settings and remove them, but no success........... Anyone can help me with this?

If you are referring to apps such as Farmville, Mafia Wars etc you will need to block each application, managed in your Privacy settings.
Log into your Facebook on a computer, go to each application fan page. On the fan page, scroll down and on the left hand side you will see Block Application. Once you block the app ensure it shows up under your Privacy settings in Blocked People and Apps.
Once you have blocked these apps, on your device go into Facebook>Menu>Options and clear the chache. Once done reboot by pulling the battery and check your Facebook news feed once the reboot has completed.
Let me know how you make out.

Need help with my Newsstand app!!!

I need help for someone to quickly test my app and see if it works, I have nobody else to ask!
I have a free Newsstand application for iPad and iPhone called Flipshion, but one of my users says it is not working for her. I currently have 1 free magazine inside of the app, and my user says when she opens the app she cannot see the magazine. I checked on my devices it works perfect. Can someone download Flipshion on their iPad and let me know if it works? PLEASE THIS WOULD HELP ME SO MUCH!

Need Help With New iPhoto App

Hello,
I recently updated to the new Photos app and when I tried to open it and migrate my library an error popped up saying that I need at least 75 GB of space. I checked and had 55 GB free at the time. I went through and deleted a bunch of excess things like music, videos, documents, and unused apps. When I went back to check it said that I had only 52.56 GB of free space. I don't understand. This is now what my storage looks like.
So now it seems that after deleting things I have less space AND I still cannot migrate my photo library. I'm out of the country now and have many video projects that I need to do for work. As a side note, I don't use iCloud for my photos or videos. Not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

The storage used in that display is only an estimate. What do you see, when you select your Macintosh HD in the Finder and look at the sizes in the "Finder > File > Get Info" panel for your harddisk? The free storage is shown in the General brick of the Info panel:
The migration may be needing more free storage, if your iPhoto Library has a corruuption and needs repairing.
Try the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools before you try to migrate the library again to Photos:
Make a backup copy on an external drive.
Then try the iPhoto Library First Aid Tools on your iPhoto Library to repair the permissions and to repair the database.
To repair hold down the alt/option and the command key simultaneously while double clicking the iPhoto application in the Applications folder to launch the iPhotos Library First aid tools. Hold down both keys firmly and long enough, until the First Aid panel will appear.
The select "Repair database". Repeat with "repair Permissions".
If it still does not suffice, repeat with "Rebuild Library".
Then try to migrate the library again to Photos by dragging it onto the Photos icon in the Dock.

HT202549 I need help with my messages app on my macbook pro.

I'm trying to send/receive messages to/from my son who recently switched from iphone to android. I have a 4s running ios 7.1.2 if that matters. When I try to send him a message through the messages app on my laptop, it says "(his number) is not registered with imessage." But my daughter who has an iphone 5 says that she gets his messages on her macbook pro and can also send messages to him from the messages app on there.
Any help would be much appreciated!

You can do that too but not with the current configuration that you have. To get SMS messages on your Mac, you would need to have iOS 8 on your iPhone and also be running OS X Yosemite on your Mac. Once you have that set up then you can enable SMS messages to have them forward to your Mac.

Need help with Adobe Reader App on ipad

Hi, I downloaded the adobe reader app on my ipad recently and saved lots of documents in it under the “Document” tab. I do my backup on iTune regularly. But I am unsure if all my documents in that app will be backup in my iTune. What worries me is that next time when I buy a new ipad, I cannot transfer the documents over. Any help? Or do I have to painstakingly upload them to Acrobat.com? Is that a storage limit for Acrobat.com? Thank you!

You can back up your all document via iTunes. Tethered your device with your Desktop/Mac and open up iTunes. Select your device from the left hand window, and go to the apps screen , scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and then select Adobe Reader from the list.Now select all the document and tap on Save to option and enter the location where you want to save the PDF. Hope this will solve your problem of back up.
However, you can back up your file to Acrobat.com and storage limit for this is 2GB.

You probably won't like this suggestion, but I suggest you reinstall Lion.
First, backup your system. Next, reboot your system, press/hold the COMMAND-R keys to boot into the Recovery HD. Select 'Reinstall Mac OS X'. If you purchased Lion as an upgrade to Snow Leopard, the reinstall process will install Lion 10.7.3. If your system came preinstalled with Lion, you might still get Lion 10.7.2. Both installs are a total install of the OS. None of your apps or data will be impacted. Just the OS.

Please I need help with my twitter app on 9800

I updated the twitter app on my 9800 and since then I've not been able to access it. The icon does not show on the homepage and that makes it inaccessible. I've restarted my phone a lot of time but till no avail... Would appreciate if someone could give me a link to the former version of twitter so I can downgrade... OK...so to be clear, the installed app listing (as per the KB I linked in post 2 above) does not show Twitter as installed, yet AppWorld does state it to be installed. Correct?
If so, then I suggest that you clear the AppWorld application cache.
For legacy (pre-BB10) Devices:
1. Open App World
2. Go to My World
3. Follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3a. For keyboard-based BB's -- Hold down the ALT key and then press, in sequence R, then S, then T
3b. For Touch Screen Only BBs -- Hold the num-lock (!?123) button so it locks and then press, in sequence 3, then 4, then (
3c. For newer (e,g., OS6 and 7) BB's, see this KB:

4. AppWorld should close.
5. If your BB locks after issuing the cache clear, perform a battery pull reboot
6. Return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it may be sluggish while it re-synchronizes). .
If step (4) does not happen as listed, then the clear cache did not work.
For BB10 devices:

Need Help with the Remote App

I am able to get this to work on my iMac at home but I was trying to help my dad get his remote App working and have not had any luck. Well, slight luck but only for about 1 minute. His computer is hard wired into the wifi router, ipod touch is wifi from same router. He uses CA Firewall (what Time Warner has as a perk to their road runner service). He has windows XP with the latest Microsoft, iTunes, and Remote software. Here is the problem, the iPod touch generates the pass code but the device list with the remote icon never appears. I got it working for 1 minute when I completely turned off the firewall but even with the firewall off it still then lost connection and couldnt find the library. Any ideas?? I am so confused. I made sure that iTunes was allowed through the firewall. I really want to get this working for him. Any help would be awesome!

Hrmm... nice job doing homework... Do you know, or can you find out, if port 3689 is open or blocked? If it's blocked, open it up. I believe this is the same port used for Music Sharing in iTunes, but it's also the port used by the Remote app.

Need help with my numbers app synching with icloud

My numbers app just stopped synching with icloud and my ipad2. And vice versa. I deleted then reinstalled the app, synched the phone, etc. and it still won't transfer to iclous. Any suggestions?

I need help with my FaceTime app on my iPad 3. Someone please help!

I can not log into FaceTime. Every time I try it gives me this error message I am not connected into a network, but I am. I'm at my whits end with this, please help me.

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Urgent!!! Need help with ADF 11g app deployment

My application is designed using ADF 11g and am using adfc-config.xml for page flow.
Through Jdev 11g integrated WLS server the application is running smoothly.
But when i deployed application using EAR file on WLS 11g server and accessed the appliction, the page flow didnt worked.
That is i tried opening login page of my application, it opened. Then i provided login credentials , they were successfully validated.
But after that the application home page did not apperaed and application stuck at Login page only. The page flow didnt worked.
Please help on this, its urgent...

The problem was same as figured by you. :)
The application is running smoothly in IE7 but in Mozilla 3.0.15 it is not running.
There it is throwing error:
Error 404--Not Found

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.
If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
