Need Help with Timeline Setup, Text won't show up in SWF

I am creating a site for one of my company's restaurants, and I have all of my pages created in flash. I have not done any Actionscript on any of the pages yet. I thought that I would just be able to create each page and take the swf files and import them into a main index page on the timeline and code from there. However, when I imported my .swf files to the library of the main flash file, none of my text showed up at all. I have added the fonts to my library and I tried breaking apart the text, but nothing has worked.
Also, I don't know how exactly to set up the timeline to link all of my pages, and I have looked in other forums and have seen people reference the online help, but I do not know where to find that!
I am a mess right now, the site needs to be up by Friday!! PLEASE HELP!

So I have created all new movie clips in my index.fla file by copying all of my files from another file and pasting them into the movie clip timeline. I have placed all of my new movie clips in different layers on the index timeline, and have created keyframes 10 frames apart. I have my actions layer with frame labels for each page every ten frames (i.e. tbLabel is at frame 1 in my actions layer and the movie clip is on a different layer at frame one, restaurantLabel is at frame 10 in my actions layer and the movie clip for that page is on a different layer at frame ten, all the way up to frame 120). I haven't put any actionscript in my movieclips except for stop(); at the end of each file. My current actionscript, placed in frame 1 for my first page when the viewer goes to the site is as follows:

However, when I go to test the movie, I get "1120 access" errors even though the buttons are named in the properties pane, however, I cannot view that in the file that conatins all of my movie clips because they are movie clips.
Also, When I go to view the movie with all of my movie clips, all of them play one on top of the other, none of them stop, and the buttons do not work.
I'm having a hard time figuring out what actionscript I need to use and where!

Need help with actively replacing text in SVG

I am new to Dreamweaver, Illustrator and SVG. Also, I do have a firm understanding of HTML but limited knowledge of Javascript and other languages. I am trying to create a website where the user is able to type in a form field (or something to that extent) and have the text in a displayed SVG be updated with the typed text. I've done extensive searching on the subject and come up with nothing that seems to work. Nor do I seem to be able to make it work.
I found a dead tutorial on the Adobe website which might help illustrate what I am trying to achieve:

I need help with my wifi sync, please?

I am trying to sync a single band from my laptop to my iPhone. This is my new laptop and I have no transfered all my music from my old computer onto here, so I can not sync through the cable or else I will have to remove all my exsisting information on my phone, I do not have all my music on my laptop yet. All I want is to simply transfer a few songs from my iTunes to my phone wirelessly and I can't. I enabled the button when I plug in my phone that tells me I can sync wirelessly but when I disconnect it refuses to work. Please I need help.

I need help with uninstalling FP so I can install FP or some hemlock

I cannot get flash player to install, uninstall so that I can install, as all the instructions tell us to do. That insane crazy pop up that tells you to install FP, that you can only say no to so that it will go away is making me want to eat a bullet. I cannot take it much longer. I have no idea what to do. And, the crazy thing is that I did do something a couple weeks ago that made it all stop and then somehow it started again. Sux to fix something but not know what you did, so that you break it again. Anywho, I have tried everything from doing a manual install with the downloader, tried downloading an older vs, but I could not find one that was compatible with Vista, which is my operating system (32 bit). I did go to the hyperlink provided on another persons delimna and the site said that I have the most current vs of FP installed. But, it is not showing in my programs list nor is it in my files in my C drive, nor a trace of it in common files. It is not in regedit in local machine/software/adobe. I cannot find it, only the saved programs to uninstall or install it saved to desktop. Wait, I just rechecked my programs and features and it shows flashplayer 10 Actuve X and shockwave player 11.5, both of which are not found anywhere else in my computer. I am so weary of all of this. I just need help. Please, please please, It is horrible because you have to have fp to run certain programs, but it will not run and I do not know if this is a Adobe issue, Windows issue or a Vaio issue.

Hokay, I have Norton 360, it is run regularily, I also ran ESET this week, I use malwarebytes, pest patrol, registry repair. I took adaware and mcafee off my system as I was told that too many virus softwares conflict and can cause problems. I have had my email stolen, along with the book, it appears someone stripped my email and sold it to a spammer. It is not coming from my computer. Makes me very upset. I have turned this into the FBI cyber crimes site, AOL and Yahoo, since the link emails in the details are yahoo accounts. I get the spam emails as well. Ppl who click on the hyperlinks, some of them are getting viruses, but as I said, these are not being generated by me, but rather from the web. I hate these ppl. My system appears clean.
The pop ups are what everyone who is complaining about this issue are getting, I am assuming. I am seeing this complaint all over. Here is the information about the pop up:
It pops up with any navigation you try to do in IE....any. It will pop up ten times in a row during simple functions. Makes you insane. And the only way you can answer it is to click don't allow. End of story. over and over and over. If you research, web wide you are told to uninstall FP and then reinstall, and there are hyper links provided to do it with, and then you are told to try doing it manually with the Adobe downloader. NOTHING works. I am truly so upset, I cannot use my laptop, a storm surge ate my desktop and I am waiting on insurance to replace that the the iPad is limited. I have no idea which or what is the prob, IE, Adobe or Vaio, which is my make of computer. But, this is so ridiculous.

You won't lose media purchased with your IDs. Just authorize your computer for each ID in iTunes under Store>Authorize This Computer. Then sign into the iTunes store using the ID you want to use for your purchasing in Store>Sign In. What you may have heard is that your computer can only be associated with a single ID every 90 days. (It becomes associated with an ID when you enable Automatic Downloads in iTunes>Preferences>Store, download previous purchases for an ID or subscribe to iTunes Match.
Purchases can't be transferred between IDs.

Need help with adding formatted text and images to Crystal Report?

Here's my scenario:
I have a customer statement that's generated as a crystal report and that has a placeholder for advertisement. The advertisement is mixture of formatted text and images. Until now we only had one advertisement that was always used on the report. The new requirement is that we would have a pool of hundreds of advertisements and would need to display one specific advertisement on the customer statement based on various marketing criteria. They key is that the advertisement content will be determined programmatically and cannot be hardcoded into the report. I'm using Crystal2008 with .net SDK.
Here are the solutions I thought of, but I'm still rather lost and would appreciate your help/opinion.
1) Pass HTML or RTF to the report
Not really sure if this is possible and how to get it done. Also how would I pass in images? Would display formatting be reliable when exporting to PDF?
2) Create each add as a subreport and append it programatically
I actually have this working, but I only know how to append a new section to the end of the report and then load the subreport to the section. I have no other controll of the placement. Is there a way to dynamically load a subreport to a predefined section in the main report? How about adding a dummy subreport in the main report as a placeholder and then replacing it with a different subreport? How could I do this?
3) Pass an Image to the report
I would create each advertisement as an image and then would somehow add the image to the report. How would I load the image and control the placement? Could I somehow define a placeholder for the image in the main report-maybe a dummy image to be replaced?

You can use dynamic images in your report.
Just by changing the URL to the image the image can be changed.

Need help with a typewriter text effect

Hi, could you guys look over my script and see what's up? I'd like the words in the string to type out in the alotted time, but for some reason my function apends the first and last letter of anything in the string, so "Hello?" becomes "ello." This is not affected if I pad the text in the string with spaces, i.e. " Hello? " Nor does this work if I start count i at -1, not 0. Please help.

I really need help with my wifi on my iPod touch 4g?

I do not know much about technology, so I dont know what to do. Anyways, my iPod touch will not connect to the internet. Apps such as iFunny, Pandora, Safari, Facebook Messenger, etc. all say that I am not connect to the internet, even though that the signal strength bars in the top left corner shows that I am connected to my wifi at my house. I have had this iPod touch for a little over a year now, but I would think that it would start to die this quickly. I have also tried to restart my iPod. Wouldnt work. I have tried to turned the wifi on and off. Wouldnt work. I have tried to troubleshoot and have the iPod forget the network and put my information back in. Wouldnt work. Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network

Need help with my wife's 3g phone

Lately it's been shutting apps down and going back to the home screen, plus most of her games either freeze up or are very slow to respond to the touch. She has a 3g 16gb phone, but I'm not sure how old it is because we got it used in december. It has the latest 3g software installed. not sure what to do to try and fix this.

How often is the phone powered completely off as opposed to simply being in standby? Sometimes powering the phone off more frequently, once a week works for me, can improve the general usability of the phone.
If the phone already has the latest version of the software on it, you may want to restore the phone in iTunes. Restoring the phone will remove the software from the phone, as well as all content, and will reinstall a fresh set of system software on the phone. This could solve your issue if the system software is causing your issue. Since it removes the content from the phone, you will want to make sure you sync before you restore.

Using PHP to process an online form and send the input by email is very simple. The mail() function takes a minimum of three arguments, namely: the address the mail is being sent to, the subject line, and the body of the email as a single string. The reason some people use scripts like form2mail.php is because they don't have the knowledge or patience to validate the user input to make sure it's safe to send.
Rather than attempt to trawl through your complex form looking for the problems, I would suggest starting with a couple of simple tests.
First of all, create a PHP page called mailtest.php containing the following script:

Save the script, upload it to your server, and load it into a browser. If you see "Mail is sent", you're in business. If not, it probably means that the hosting company insists on the fifth argument being supplied to mail(). This is your email address preceded by -f. Change the line of code that sends the mail to this:
$sent = mail($to, $subject, $message, null, '[email protected]');
Obviously, replace "[email protected]" with your own email address.
If this results in the mail being sent successfully, you will need to adapt the code in form2mail.php to accept the fifth parameter. You need to change the following line, which is a few lines from the end of the script:
if (!mail($MailToAddress, $MailSubject, $mailMessage,$mailHeader))
Change it to this:
if (!mail($MailToAddress, $MailSubject, $mailMessage,$mailHeader, '[email protected]'))
Again, use your own email address instead of "[email protected]".
Once you have determined whether you need the fifth argument, test form2mail.php with a very simple form like this:

Need help with installing Symbol so student can graduate

After using OS X exclusively for the last 5 years, I now find that I need to use Framemaker on OS 9 in order to help a student of mine finish his thesis. I've installed Framemaker, but when I try to run it, it says it's missing the Symbol font, then quits. I have no idea why it's missing, and for the life of me, I can't remember how to install a font in OS 9.
Can anyone tell me where I can find an OS 9 compatible version of the Symbol font, and how to install it?

Hi, Gary, and welcome to Apple Discussions. Symbol is a standard font that's normally installed with OS 9. Many people don't use it, so it is often trashed. If you don't have access to a computer that is running OS 9 and has the font installed on it, you can extract a copy from the Installer Tome on any OS 9 installer CD using TomeViewer. Once you've done so, place it in the Fonts folder inside OS 9's System Folder, restart the Mac, and it should be available in the Fonts menu of all your OS 9 applications.
