I really need help with re-activating my little sisters iPad, i already set it up a couple of months ago when i bought it,but unfortunately she disabled it by forgetting her password. i followed the necessary steps to reset it again, when the iPad came back on and we put the apple id and password it kept refusing it, i even reset the password, which sent the verification the email account, i followed the steps to reset, But then i noticed the message at the top of the activate screen with the message “this iPad is currently linked to the following apple ID _______ with a a few hidden dashes, but at the end of the email it says co.uk, but the problem is the email ends with .com. I have no idea how this happened, and its driving me insane and my little sister only used her iPad for a month before this happened. for some reason the the iPad email address ends in co.uk when the actual email ends with .com

Need help with upgrading my OS from 10.5.8

Need help with upgrading my OS. I havent upgraded the OS since I bought it and have version 10.5.8. Now I cant download Mountain Lion- or even Snow Leopard. When i downloaded the first version of SL- 10.6.1 it says i have to have 10.6 first and I cant find that.

You can only Sync to One iTunes Library at a time.

Need help with backup for iphone 4

hey all,
i just upgraded to IOS 5.1.1, and i was pretty mad to find out all my contacts were wiped out after i did this. so i plugged it in my computer, went into iTunes, and tried to restore from backup...well, that would have worked out fine, except it keeps restoring to an old back up from April 17...no matter what i do! i'm trying to use a backup from May 20.
So here's what i'm doing, if anyone can give me insight, by all means!
Restore from backup > iphone name: (here on the drop down list, i see my phone name and various dates including april 17, 2012, and may 20, 2012, which is the date of back up i am trying to use. below the drop down menu, it reads "Last Backed Up: 4/17/2012". but if there are more recent dates listed in the dropdown, doesn't it mean the last back up was whatever date listed in the dropdown??
at any rate, i choose the may 20 back up, and i get a pop up window that says "A more recent backup from 4/17/12 is available for the iphone..." and gives me the option of "use newer backup" or "use older backup". well even if i click the newer backup, it only uses the 4/17/12 backup, not may 20 one. if i click older backup, it gives me a backup from a LONG time ago.
so does this mean i don't actually have a backup from may 20?? i see that the file from 5/20/12 is there when i go to my mobilesync > backup folder on my computer...so i dont get what the problem is. i even tried deleting the 4/17/12 folder from there, and went back into itunes...no luck.
i dont think the upgrade in IOS shoudl be affecting this? afterall both of the backups i listed were both of the old IOS...

You do know that contacts are NOT part of the iTunes backup, right? The only part of contacts that get backed up is the information needed to maintain your favorites and recent call log.
Contacts are meant to live permanently on your computer (Outlook, Address Book) or a cloud-service (Google, iCloud) for safekeeping and archival.
Sounds like you might not have been using your phone as recommended and that your contacts are gone. That's unfortunate. Now might be a good time to review the User Guide to refamiliarize yourself with the way you should be using your phone to minimize data loss in the future.

Thanks for the answers. I tried loading it yesterday, i had lot of confusions.
What should i do to load a master data from a R/3 to BI7.0.
1. Created a Info object named (EKKO_mas) with some attributes (ernam, ekorg, lifnr).
2. Go to info provider and right clicked on info area and selected insert char as data target. (Please correct if i am wrong).
3. Login to R/3, go to sbiw generic data source created one with a view/table as EKKO and map the application compound and select the needed fields by checking the checkbox. (please correct if wrong).
4. Go to source system tab and replicate data source. ( Please correct if i am wrong)
Then what should i do.
guessing steps:
4. Create a Data source, in BI 7.0 . In that as i am not using flat file, should i select "application server" instead of "local workstation" . In field tab i specified all the fields given in Info object. ( Will there be anything else i should do or change in this tab)
5. Load data in PSA. ( will the data from R/3 i selected loaded in PSA without any problem)
6. Create transformation , save and activate.
7. Create DTP save and activate , click execute.
By doing the above given step will i be able to load the master data from R/3 to BI 7.0 data target (IO) . Please help me if something is wrong with my steps.

NEED HELP WITH TRANSFERRING P2 data from the HVX camera to FCP!!!

Need some emergency help here... I'm trying to transfer my data from the P2 card on the HVX camera to my FCP6. I plugged in my 1394 firewire cable into the deck and followed the directions but the computer is not recognizing the HVX camera. PLEASE HELP!!!

Need helps with recently bought iphone 3G

I bought an iPhone 3G 8GB from ebay recently. It was stated as legally unlocked by Telstra (Australian's carrier). I bought this as a present for my sister to be use in Malaysia. When I inserted a Malaysia's SIM card, this iphone give me 'Invalid SIM' status. When I connected it to iTunes, the itunes told me that the SIM card is not compatible. What should i do?
Oh, this is a second hand item. The seller has used it for one month. When I opened itunes, it does show the seller name.
I read around that everytime you insert a new SIM card, you need to restore the iphone through itunes. Is that so? Will the restoration make my iphone become lock again? And how do I restore? Just click the restore button on iTunes?
Wouldn't it be a pain in the *** if you have to restore your iphones everytime you inserting a new SIM card? Can't it be easier? I thought if the iphone is unlocked, you just have to insert you SIM, and you're ready to go.
I'd appreciate if anyone could guide me through this. Thanks

Ok I've called Telstra, and they've confirmed that my iphone has certainly been unlocked by them. I've tried to restore it last night, and when it's complete, I inserted my Malaysia SIM, but it still gives me the 'SIM not compatible' message. Worst, I can't get to 'Home' now. When I turned on the iphone, it gave me this pic of white cable and itunes, asking me to connect to itunes. I can only make an emergency call now. If I inserted my SIM and connect tu itunes, it gives me the message above, but if I do not insert my SIM, the itunes will give me error message asking me to insert SIM. Basically that's the only thing I can do now with my iphone.

Need help with backing upgrading iphone

So I finally decided to upgrade from the 1st gen iphone to the 3GS. The problem is that the laptop I was syncing my old iphone on crashed and I lost everything >:^(
So basically I have all the videos and songs stuck on my old iphone. When I try to sync with another laptop I get a message that all of my old songs will be deleted since none of them are in the new laptop's itunes playlist.
Question: How do I get all my media off of my old iphone and onto my new one without losing any data?? (again, there is no backup of the songs or videos)

The problem is that most of my music was unpurchased (they are uncopywrited live DJ mixes). The videos are DVDs that I converted so that I can watch them on the iphone.

NEED HELP with contact/data recovery from restore backup before current

My girlfriend synched her iphone 5 to itunes 6 months after purchasing it and wiped all of her data. Instead of clicking "restore backup", she chose "Backup now", which replaced the version we needed. Is there anyway of retrieving the data from that restore?

My iPad was stolen - need help with getting my stuff from the icloud

My iPad was stolen two days ago. I did the remote "lock this device" within ten minutes of it being stolen, but I cannot see any of my pics, etc in my iCloud.
Any help or advice would be really appreciated

Photos are not on icloud.com. You could set up iCloud on your computer and enable photo stream to get back photo stream photos from the last 30 days (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/). To access your camera roll photos and other data and settings, you will need to restore your backup to another iPad. If your backup is in iCloud, be sure to do this before it is 180 days old or Apple will delete it.

Previous PC user needs help with setting up iphone on Macbook

I just started using the Macbook and will be using this as the primary computer. My iphone 3G was previously syncing to my previous HP PC. I tried plugging in my iPhone to the Macbook and it definitely reads it....but how do i get the Macbook set up so that it serves as "home base." I didn't see any of the applications that i previously had on the PC itunes iPhone page as on the itunes on the Mac. i thought this would happen automatically. I just need a method of being able to update the apps if need be. Or do i need to use the PC for that?

Your itunes does not automatically show up on your new computer.
You have to move it there. You can use your back up to do this or the Apple Store will do it for you, or you can call Apple support and they will help you do it.
