Basically your insurers are trying to fob you off and are implying they don't believe you own the phone as who keeps this information?!?!
You need to call your insurers and ask them to arrange a "three way call" with EE and you and then they can ask EE all the questions they want. If they again fob you off (which is likely) tell them you want to complain and intend to escalate this issue to FOS http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/ (this costs them £550 if you complain to the FOS) and then they will have to refer your case to complaints who will likely be the actual insurer/underwriter and then you will get your claims dealt with.

The app is just used if necessary to locate another iOS device from that particular iOS device. To see if both of your devices are being located in Find My iPhone, log into www.icloud.com and select Find My iPhone. Both of the devices should appear. If they do not, then go into whichever of the devices does not appear and make sure that Find My iPhone is activated. It has to be activated through iCloud, and for both to show on the same map, they both have to have the same iCloud ID.

If you go to the computer where your sync your phone to and open itunes and then go to edit in the tool bar then preferences then device preferences then devices.. hover the mouse pointer over your device name in the back up lists that appear there and it shows the IMEI

You can execute a fixed number of iterations using a while loop by comparing the iteration count to the number of iterations you want and wiring the output of that comparison (e.g. Less Than or Equal To) to the continue (or stop) terminal of your while loop. Which comparison you use depends on personal preference, where you wire the desired count and the interation count, and whether you're using the while loop as Continue if True or Stop if True.

1. Make your iMessage settings.
2. Change your friends phone number on contacts property of iPhone(not work, home, mobile). if you know his icloud account you can use this too.

EDIT 2: It cannot be restored via iTunes 'cause I get a screen message saying that there's no SIM card in the iPhone I'm attempting to activate. The friend who sold me the phone showed me a method for restoring it on the phone itself, without having to send the command through iTunes (connect the phone to computer, turn it off, hold both Home and Power buttons until the Apple logo disappears, release the Power button without releasing Home button, iTunes shows a message about an iPhone in restoring mode, restore, etc.). Screen cracked. Digitizer broken. Need IMEI number.

My Xperia Z1 screen cracked without being dropped or struck, it actually seems like the crack is on the inside of the glass as I cannot feel it on the front of my phone. This crack must have damaged the touch screen digitizer as only the bottom of my phone can be used, this means I can't even find the IMEI number of my device as I need to use the keypad.

You can find the IMEI on the Box as well as the Proof of purchase. You can also open the SIM card slow and pull a tray out that has the IMEI number on it.

So nothing inside of it like "Find my phone" or "Mobileme".
But I have the serial number on invoice.
Can I learn "imei number" from somewhere, so that I can report it to police.

I believe this is not possible.
However, the serial number of your iPad is unique. There are no two identical serial numbers.
It is possible to register your products with your Apple account, this includes - I believe - the serial number of your device. Whenever an other computer uses your iPad, the serial number gets communicated with Apple's database.
I suggest you mail Apple about this problem and ask them what you should exactly do.
But first you definitely need to report it to the police, including all the information you know.
Any physical information about your devices (a big scratch/stickers/engravings), the devices' name, content, passcode lock. Anything can help. They probably already restored the device, but you never know.
