Here abcd is application name.
ICF Service Node exists and activated but kindly let me know from where "undefined" is coming .

I think ur webdynpro service is not active after upgradation.
You have manually activate it.
Go go Tcode SICF,Execute the Initial screen,
and in this new screen give service as your application name and click on filter.
You will get your service below which will be ur application name .
right-Click on the deactivate and activate it or just activate it,.

Hello SAP folks,
I am currently involved in Consumer Portal integration with SAP System. I need information about the right kind of BAPI that would help me to enter and retrieve data from SAP database. I have noted down following funtionality in Sales And Distribution areas where i require a BAPI :
1. Account Management -- > There are concept of Sales rep, Dealer on the consumer Portal. My question is -- > Could anyone suggest some BAPI for creation of User ID for Sales rep and Dealer as well i need information on the BAPI which would also help me displaying the data from SAP database. As far i know, in Customer Master record, we maintain Contact person and Buiness Partners. So how to take up these development into consideration ???
2. Mulitple Credit Card Management --> Please suggest the BAPI for meeting this functionality at Sales order level.
3. Customer Inclusion/Exclusion --> Here the basic need is exclude certain customer from availabling some product. Please suggest the BAPI for this operation.

Assume you have gone through the transaction BAPI,
where you can find all relevant BAPI's .
select the relevant text such as "sales orders" - from the right side of the screen - check "Tools" tab,where you will find "Create BAPI list", click to search for the Function moduels.

Actually i am new to Apps. I am a OBIEE Developer. Here i will tell you the process. From Flat files to Staging area they are Loading the Data using some Scripts. After that they are using some concurrent programes for clensing the data and load them in to the Interface Tables. Then Those tables are loaded in to the Main oracle Tables.
Mean while when they loading the data from staging to Interface they clensing the data. If Any errors occur they are moving those tables into some Built in Tables like (MTL_Interface_Errors). This is the process.
And i don't know how to find the error tables..

Need information about DMS

For most of you this might be a very old topic. Can anyone please help me with the following ?
1. We would like to scan incoming invoices and attach it to invoice verification process. What should be the procedure ? I know it is possible with DMS and we do have documentum installed. But would like to know the process to implement.
2. In DMS I uploaded word document. Is it possible to convert a word document to PDF ? Do I need to use documentum for this ?
We are running on ECC 5.0, Sun OS, Oracle.
Any help with the above is greatly appreciated. If anyone has some information please send it to me at [email protected]

DMS is not the correct place for invoices. SAP ArchiveLink is designed to handle these types of documents.
Check Archivelink in the help files and you should find more information.
You will need to configure in a couple of areas to enable this. You will need to set up a repository for documentum in OAC0, then configure a document type for the invoice in Oac2, then do doc type customising using the doc type wizard in oad5 to specify what method of storage you would like to use (early archiving, late archiving etc)
ArchiveLink allows you to store documents against the business transaction itself so that the document can follow the transaction, whereas DMS would be in an environment where the document itself has its own approval cycle.
There are various products you can buy that can automate the invoice verification process by doing OCR on the invoice and matching it to the PO in SAP. If the PO has been goods receipted and the amount is within tolerance, then the invoice is automatically paid. You should be able to find solutions from Kofax, Readsoft and IXOS to name a few.

Release code is a two-character identifier with which a person responsible for processing a document can release/ approve an item of a purchase requisition, a complete purchase requisition, or a complete external purchasing document, or cancel a release.
If a link to SAP Business Workflow has been defined for the release code, the person can refuse to effect release (withhold approval), thus rejecting the item or document.
You can find the relelase codes Using the following path :
Go to Transaction : SPRO and click on SAP Reference IMG and follow the menu :
-> Material Management ->Purchasing->Purchase Requisition->Release Procedure ->Procedure with classification -> Setup procedure with classification

first, head into your Add/Remove programs and uninstall your QuickTime. if it goes, good. if it doesn't, we'll just attend to it when we attend to itunes.
next, download and install the revo uninstaller http://http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html. use it to clear any existing itunes and/or QuickTime installation configuration information from the PC.
next download itunes. it worked for me hope this is helpful!!
oonce you get into the revo uninstallergo thru to delete itunes hit uninstall on the itunes icon then you will go thru to it will tell u the same nmessage about the feature and network hit cancell then go thru and hit scan (make sure bthe advance scan button is pushed) this will take awhile but go thru the list and hit everything associated with itunes. hit delete then install itunes again. it worked for me hope it works for you!

what does "cannot retrieve download information please connect to itunes" mean?
lately, my ipod has been acting weird, about 3 days ago, it wasn't able to access the 'Updates" section of the mobile store. Now it can, so I downloaded the Tap Tap update, it tells me to go hook it up to my computer and now this message pops up on my ipod every 5 min.

I had this same problem with the message cannot retrieve download information please connect to itunes. Everything else on the ipod works fine, but you might notice that the ipod is displaying the wrong time, or the time keeps changing. the time thing sometimes occures with this problem just something esle I noticed wrong. The good news is that the problem is not with the ipod or your connection, It is a problem with Itunes, if your computer hibernates while itunes is open and you wake it up and plug your ipod in it screws up stuff with the itunes store and also messes with your time, to solve this problem all you need to do is to is to close itunes, reopen it plug your ipod in and hit sync. pluging your ipod into your computer after it has hibernated and itunes was open causes this problem, so just always restart Itunes before you plug in your ipod after hibernating. hope this helps

I do not see why it will not be possible to do digest authentication with a web server using PL/SQL.
As for the digest password - the web server supplies a token (a nonce) which you need to use for creating the hashed authentication token (the digest password). The URL I posted explains this authentication process.
As for the technical how-to in PL/SQL - as I mentioned, never had to do this (only dealt with Basic and NTLM authentication thus far). But as other auth methods (such as Microsoft's NTLM) can be implemented, I do not see why digest authentication could not.
Suggest you spend some time googling for technical articles/sample code on the subject - and try to find specific PL/SQL related sample code too.
