I need motherboard for Satellite M305D-S4830

Hi Mr/Mrs,
I have a question about my Toshiba Laptop.
Last summer I bought Toshiba M305D-S4830 from BestBuy in USA. (Now I'm in Turkey)
Unfortunately, when I tried to start my laptop, there was nothing. After then, I figure whats happened out.
Now, my mother board is not working properly.
Thats why I need "M305D-S4830" Mother Board Model. Can you help me about this, please?

As far as I know the notebooks have 1 year international warranty.
But therefore I would contact your local ASP. Have did this?
Maybe the ASP in your country can order this part for you
In worst case you must sent the notebook to an ASP in USA.

I was able to fully load Windows XP 64bit onto my Satellite M305D-S4830 with all drivers.
Everything is working great except for my battery not lasting very long.
I have searched but haven't been able to find a working copy of Toshiba Power Saver that will work on my laptop with XP 64.
Any ideas or suggestions?

I think you will not find a 64bit version from Toshiba Power Saver.
Toshiba does not support XP 64bit so are no 64bit software available.
You must use the settings from Windows or you change to Vista 64bit. Vista has more options to save energy and its the same like Power Saver.

hi im johann from the philippines my laptop (a toshiba satellite m305d-s4830) came from the u.s. from my cousin and i don't have much support from toshiba here because it does not have warranty or anything so i was wonderin about two things.. first i wanted to upgrade the hdd of my laptop.. toshiba here does not have anything greater than 320gb but computer shops here have mobile sata hdds up to 500gb.. i'm planning to a 500gb but the catch is i would have to change the hdd on my own.. if that happens if i use the recovery disk would it install the windows vista it came with my laptop or would it be better if i just backup the current hdd and copy it to the new one as a ghost or something? the next question is about readyboost.. i currently have 4gb of ram and that's the max for my laptop right? so i was wondering if readyboost would help me if i attach a 8gb flash drvie with readyboost? i'm using vista home premium 64bit.. thnx

You could use a program like Acronis' True Image to back up your entire drive (all partitions) to an external drive and later boot from a CD and restore to the new drive. This approach would include all data, applications, updates, and setting of course.
That should work seamlessly for most applications, though one or two may require reactivation.

4 GB of RAM is really a great deal! I doubt that you will be using more than a fraction of it. Typically, 2 GB is the sweet spot for Windows Vista.
In any case, I don't recommend ReadyBoost. It doesn't improve performance much.

Need new motherboard for Satellite Pro C50-A-1E0

My son's Satellite Pro C50-A-1E0 went completely t*ts up. I think it is a common fault and requires a bios reset or something. Anyway I'm thinking a new motherboard will do the trick.
Any help as to which motherboard to get that is compatible and would this actually help?

It is not easy to find new motherboard and believe me it is pretty expensive so you can buy new notebook.
What you can do is to contact nearest Toshiba service provider at first. Explain the situation and ask if they can help you with this. They are also able to obtain new motherboard for you.

Need specs for Satellite C50-A-1DV

Been all over, and have had nothing but frustration from trying to use the cumbersome and largely useless Toshiba 'help' services.
If anyone can help, I need specs for the Satellite i3 C50-A-1DV.
I have looked for an hour now and I can find nothing.
In short, I want to buy new memory - upgrading it from 4 to 8gb - but I can find no info beyond
that it is ddr3.

Googling around I found follow information: Your notebook model can be upgraded up to 16GB.
Compatible RAM modules that you can use are as follow:
2GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M2G
4GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M4G
8GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M8G
Using these part numbers you can find full specification but it must be DDR3 1600MHz.
I recommend you to use compatible and high quality RAMs only.

I presume your notebook is an European notebook model and you must not search the drivers on Canadian site. Just go to http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com 'Support & Downloads. For older notebook models (like yours) you should as product type choose Archive.

Well, youve got 2 choices;
Either you will buy an new motherboard which would cost a little fortune or you will try to search on very famous auction site for a second hand Equium A60 (Satellite A60) or second hand motherboard.
All parts and also the new motherboard can be ordered from the ASP in your country.
The technicians could order such part from the Toshiba directly.
So its you choice now ;)

The Satellite M40x is pretty old notebook and therefore you have to search in *Archive* for drivers. Thats all!
Then you can see and download all drivers for it.

Hi, I noticed that the PCMCIA slot and USB ports of my notebook Toshiba Satellite L100 (PSLAOL - OOUOOE) are dead and the technician of the store where I bought the notebook told me that I must change the motherboard to gets the the PCMCIA and USB working again.

Need drivers for Satellite M115-s3094

I have a Satellite M115-s3094, I had problems with my OS which was Windows XP MCE but I could not fix it. So I got fed up and loaded in windows XP Professional, but a lot of my drivers have gone.
The drivers I require are for Ethernet controller, network controller, PCI device, flash memory, SM bus controller, USB controller, video controller....plus I have no sound. It is an Intel centrino duo...as you can see I am missing a lot of drivers.
Could anyone tell me how can I find out what kind of drivers I need and where do I get them from? Would Win XP SP2 installation help to install any of these drivers?

I have the same problem. I just need the drivers for the Ethernet controller and PCI device. I assume that the PCI device is the wireless card.
I have tried all of the drivers on the Toshiba website, but none seem to work.

I dont think some service provider from Dubai will send you new motherboard. Try to contact them per mail and ask what can be done about it.
What I can imagine is that you must send your notebook and get it back when repaired.

I am from Europe and my friend come from US so he brought his US model here. He got info that his model cannot be repaired here in Europe and notebook must be sent to the USA.

Need manual for Satellite A40-702

Hello all
My daughter has been given a SA40 702. The problem is it's the bit worse for wear, keys missing from the keyboard, DVD drive problems. These are not insurmountable.
The main problem is that the manual has been lost. Does anyone have a link to a down-loadable version please?

i need your help. I'm looking for WinXP Driver for this Notebook but didnt find anything from Toshiba.
I tryed to install the Omegadrivers for the Display and the VIA Allinone Driver package for the chipset, but it does not work.
Can someone tell wich chipset is installed on the Mainboard and which Graphic Card is used in this Model?
