I need my Deskjet 2543 to stay on

I just installed the Deskjet 2543 and it's great. However, it just turned off automatically. I own a florist shop, and we are connected to a wire service that prints our orders as they come in. I need the printer to stay on at all times. Is this possible? Or does it always shut off after a certain period of unuse?

I saw your post about your Deskjet 2543 powering off by itself and your inquiry about the Auto-Off feature. Below I have posted you the information you will need from the user guide. After disabling the Auto-Off, you should be okay and the printer will stay powered on.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are trying to print to a Deskjet 2543 from a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, it worked for a single print but now you are getting an error.
There are two connection types you could be using, Wireless Direct (which is the printer's wireless frequency) or the printer being connected to a wireless router that the Tab is also connected to. Which had you used / would like to use?
Try connecting the Tab to the Wireless Direct and test printing. Press the #4 button on the printer to turn on Wireless Direct(if it is off).
On the Tab, connect to the printers network, HP-Print-**-Deskjet2543 and try to print.

I need the Ipad screen to stay on

i updated my ipad2 to 7.0.2 and now there's no option to keep the screen on for longer than 5 minutes. i use it to read music and need the screen to stay on for long periods, or it could turn off in the middle of a song. Is there a way to keep the screen from automatically turning off. Of maybe this a bug in the new version?

Windows 7 Drivers Needed for Deskjet 6540

Hello,
We use 2 Deskjet 6540's @ my office. I have the windows 7 RC, and cannot get it to load drivers for the printers. I download the vista driver, and it says This driver is not for windows 7.and does not give me a "so what" option.
any help would be appreciated.

As of today Sept 16, 2011 the printer drivers from windows 7 work. It still requires some effort.
1) let the printer install (if it is already and the following steps do not work remove the device and let it reinstall)
2) right click on the printer in "Devices and Printers"
3) select "Printer Properties"
4) go to the "Device Setting" tab in the top row in the middle
5) under "installable options" click after the duplexer options and select "installed" from the drop down menu
6) click "OK"

Need help! comp wont stay booted

Hi,
I recently switched my computer parts to a new case and got a new heatsink. I didnt change anything else about the configuration, but when i went to turn it on, it powered on with no video, and then shut off after 7 seconds.
I have troubleshooted it to all hell, and narrowed it down to the mobo and/or cpu. Ive swapped out and/or removed every other component, as well as clearing the bios etc etc, and there has been no change: turns off after 7 seconds, and no video.
please please please, i would love your help.

Does anyone know what script I can use to make my flash intro
stay on top of another .exe file that is going to open after my

IE11 from template not staying isolated

New to virtulaization and here is what is happening. I have successfully
created an IE11 vapp from the template and two SVM's. Java and Flash. I
needed this for PARCC testing due to the fact the of the possible 9k
workstations that could be used we just did not have the resources to check
every computer to make sure that it complied with testing needs. All ws are
win7 pro 64 bit with IE11. My IE11 with the two SVM's works but I am finding
that the IE11 vapp when run on a WS vs my clean VM used to create it
interacts with the installed IEll. So when I run it I get prompted about
enabling add on like adobe pdf of lync. Also wats on the farvorites bar from
the WS IE comes over as does opening of the default home page from the local
IE. My IE app had Bing as the default search. I had it complain about the
installed version of IE11 having Google as default search and since the
local was set to prevent being changed I got all kinds of messages about
the default Google search being changed which is the default for the WS IE.
I need this IE11 vapp to stay totally isolated which I thought was the
purpose of the product. Can anyone give me clue as to what is happening?

Need To: Keep Script Objects Unique to Specific Forms

We create xdp's and then allow users to 'stitch' these together forming one complete PDF.
These form's code check data entry, completeness, calculations, etc. One of its biggest features is that it highlights required fields (not the built in required field highlight) and conditionally required fields as needed.
Global Functions (using a script object) works wonders onimmediate form feedback to the user. However, when we combine 2 or more xdp's together, the script objects disappear - leaving the first form's script object only.
We need the script objects to stay unique to each form without 'dropping off' after stitching forms together.
Any ideas??

I would probably use a TreeMap that referenced the counter.

I understand you have a Deskjet 3900 series that you'd like to install with Windows 7 and are looking for an HP driver to do so. I will do my best to explain what you'll need to do
There is not a driver for Windows 7 for this series printer. To install the printer you would want to follow this Installing the Printer Software in Windows 7 for a USB Cable Connection document, and then you can use the printer with the Windows built in driver.

How do I make a hover object stay on screen?

I have a CSS image gallery, and am struggling to finish it off (I originally intended to find a js example but couldn't find what I wanted despite extensive trawling).
Hovering over the thumbs brings up the large image as required, but I need the image to then stay on screen until the user hovers over another thumb. I'm pretty sure this is possible, but can't work out how to do it.

If you're a fan of high-end LCDs, R50p has a very nice IPS FlexView, and is a very sweet machine overall. With maxed RAM it doesn't feel outdated at all, will fly in most Linux distros and XP, and run 32-bit Vista with no complaints. If the original 1.7 Banias CPU is replaced with 2.0 or 2.1 Dothan (755/765) these babies get quite fast.
The bad news is that these machines are prone to GPU failures that affect the whole ATi-based T4x/R5x generation.
As for your run-of-the-mill T60, if it's going to be nothing more than a backup machine, it's probably a better option than R50p if the price is the same. These are solid performers that don't need any special care to stay in good shape.

Nano froze up need help please

i went to my stopwatch and before i salected the timer it froze up please help. i realy need help becouse my light stays on and the back of my ipod is heating up.

Let me explain the do not disconnect screen:
Ejecting your iPod via iTunes depends on what setting your iPod is on for.
Connect your iPod. Go into Edit> preferences> iPod. See what setting your iPod is on; "automatic" or "manual".
Automatic
If you aren't restoring, or updating your iPod, iTunes should automatically eject your iPod from iTunes. If it doesn't, then right-click the name of your iPod in iTunes, and make sure that the "enable for disk use" is un-checked.
Manual
If you need to eject your iPod from iTunes if the setting is "manual", click the little arrow that's next to the name of your iPod in the left source list in iTunes.
Also, the other simple manual way to disconnect your iPod, without opening up iTunes, is:
Look at the bottom-right corner of your screen, and there's the system tray icons there. If the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon is there, click on it, select your iPod, and click "stop".
