Problem 1: SAP Management Console cannot start successfully
Problem 1.1: Click on SAP Management Console, but yellow light continues for a long period of time.
Problem 1.2: In DOS, startsap command cannot start SAP R/3.
Problem 1.3: Oracle 9i database automatically shutdown by itself.
Problem 1.4: There is very low disk storage left (say less than 50MB) in the hard disk where Oracle 9i database is installed in the server.

3.1 - If you client copy from client 000, you need to go to SCC4 and set the client to customizing chnages allowed;
3.2 - If you do a client copy from client 800 (the one that SAP delivers data in) you should have data. Client 000 is empty (almost).
3.3 - You should be able to change the password of SAP* PASS user.
I am not sure which version you are dealing with, but ERP2004 and ERP2005 allow you to change the password suring installation.
Also, there is a parameter that can be maintained that allows you to log on as SAP*. If you set as not available, no one can log on.

If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like Adblock Plus or NoScript or Flash Block that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

You can use one of these to start Firefox in Safe mode:

Need some help archiving and photos that are in multiple collections.

After creating a new catalog for photos from a collection, I'd want to remove the photos from Lightroom and keep on disk. In the collection, there are some photos that are in multiple other collections and I'd want to keep those images in their other collections and so not removed them from Lightroom.
Need some advice on how to easily identlfy those images that are in other collections and thus might not want to remove those images from Lightroom.

Well, Bob, that works, but agreeing with Geoff, I don't think this is the best solution to the problem; in fact I don't even think this is a good solution to this problem.
If there isn't a lot of space left, and the user wants to do something about the photos in those collections, then the photos should be moved (in Lightroom, or via this process: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm) to a different drive. This generates more free space on the SSD drive. The photos remain in the Lightroom catalog, and they remain in the multiple collections that they are in now.
MrhoniKeith -- your photos probably should not go on the SSD in the first place. Photos ought to be stored on a normal hard drive, not an SSD. You can move them to a regular hard drive en masse, freeing up plenty of space on the SSD via this method: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm. This is the BEST solution to your problem -- keep everything in a single catalog, with photos on a normal hard disk. The idea of having multiple catalogs to help free up space on one drive works opposite to the best practices of using Lightroom, in which most people recommend using a single catalog for all of your photos, except in special cases where the photo's contents are completely non-overlapping, for example Personal and Business catalogs.
Removing photos from some collections but not others will NOT free up space. That's not how Lightroom works. Lightroom has not made multiple copies of your photos for each collection. Deleting photos from collections will NOT free up space.

Need some hand-holding and bullet point direction

ok, i need some help. We shoot our church services on Sony PDW-700 HD XDCAMS. We shoot in 420 HQ (whatever that is). Once we finish shooting the service, we pull the source video off of the XDCAM disk using the Sony XDCAM transfer utility. I believe we end up with a .mls file. We then edit the source and send it to compressor and then to DVD studio pro and it gets burned to a standard DVD. What we end up with is a video with artifacts in it. What I mean by artifacts is wavy lines around the edges of movement.
What I need to know, from step 1 to step whatever, is HOW to get the source from FCP to DVD w/out artifacts. It seems that we should be able to produce a DVD that looks better than ours and w/out the wavy lines around the edges of moving objects.
What I'm looking for is something like this:
When we open FCP, are there any preferences we need to have set before we import our source or will FCP adjust our project settings to match our source?
When done editing, do we need to do anything special when we send it to compressor?
Once in DVDSP, what do we need to be doing to make sure it comes out looking it's best.
I realize I am asking a lot here, but we're not novices. We understand things like the format of our media, etc. We're looking for a list or bullet point process to get from Media to DVD and have it look it's best.

If you have any doubts regarding the format you shot,
look in the Browser, control-click the media file, and select Item Properties > Format.
That will tell you exactly what FCP thinks you're using.
Note that if Field Dominance is None, your clip is progressive.
In the future, you should ask your camera crew to shoot progressive.

Although he's talking about going from XDCAM EX to a PAL DVD,
most of the principles apply. In particular:
• Set Rendering preferences to ProRes 422, i.e.
Sequence Settings > Render Control > Render > Codec
• Do your HD edit.
• When it's time to convert to SD (step 2 in the article) create a new sequence
with the settings NTSC Anamorphic. This will preserve the nice wide-screen look
of the original footage even when played on an SD DVD.
• Step 4 of the article: choose NTSC anamorphic.
If your footage was shot interlaced, choose field dominance lower (even).
The compressor is NTSC, and the frame rate is 29.97.
In the advanced compression settings, note that it should be 16:9,
and Progressive if you're shooting or converting to progressive.

ASA 5505 unable to access ASDM ( just needs some ports ope and FWDing setup)

I was able to access the ASDM launcher in the browser yesterday   via    https://192.168.111.1/admin and I was stuck there as the browser version says that my ASA image does not work with my ASDM version...      So i tried some trouble shooting and think that i may have changed the image to an image that does not exist.     (I'm not sure where it is that I would actually place that image either)    Now i am unable to access through the browser at all.
Anyways, I am ok with SSH/CLI and have been using my firewall in this manner.   I am walking into this companies current configuration and simply need to do the following:
I need to OPEN ports 9000, 85, 40085, 49005 so that my mobile device can pull my security cameras in the office
I need to set port forwarding so that any connections that hit outside-in ip address 205.214.36.53:1610 >>> http://192.168.111.30:1610/AndroidWS/     for our new mobile CRM.

This doesn't specifically answer your question, but if you want to get ASDM functionality back you need to load a newer version onto flash memory and then point the ASA to that with the configuration command:
asdm image disk0:/asdm-version.bin
You are running  ASA Version 9.0(2) so you need at least version 7 of ASDM to support that. Interestingly enough your "asdm image" statement in your config points to asdm-509.bin and you have asdm-631.bin and asdm-645.bin on flash. None of those will work. I suggest loading up asdm-721.bin and changing the asdm image statement accordingly. I am pretty sure a reboot is required after that is done.

Badly need some help: SMS and MMS App DISAPPEARED

Hi there! I got my BlackBerry Curve 8520 a few weeks ago. It was working well until last saturday morning. My "SMS & MMS App" is missing! I tried to look for my messages but I don't see them even after clicking on the Messages App (the one that looks like an envelope)>View Folder>SMS Inbox but I don't see any messages there. How can I get it back?
By the way, the OS is v4.6.1.272 (Platform 4.2.0.118)

Yep. I got the question mark when I opened your URL so I looked through the source code for the file:

Reloading the page also showed the file.
Call your server and ask them about the .m4v file extension. They may need to update some files or you may need to edit your asp code that calls the file.

in adf you have aan option of af:inputFile.. which maps to UploadedFile class.. the class is a pointer to the uploaded file.. now for your case.. as Timo suggested.. make use of File class to check if the file exists..

Yes for the empty dataview problem try this:
Create a project wich measures for example 3 signals, create a dataview with 3 views in, one for each signal,
save the project.
Then open that project again and in my case there is then just one Dataview with no more subviews anymore,
also there is no signal bounded to the view anymore, so in fact I'm left with just an empty Dataview...
I normally measure a number of signals at a time, 8, 12, or so and I define datviews (tabs) with the raw signals, then with the
filtered versions, then with fouriers for example, that is one of the main reasons We buyed SE because it gives us this nice
view on different signal aspects in different tabs, once the project is running no problems (exept for thos damn Y scale labels overwitten
off course) but when I save the project and reopen it again, from the 5 tabs with lets say 3 views each only one remains intact,
the other views seem to have lost their layout or subviews or what you call it....
I can reproduce this error every time I save and re-open a project... but one time if I have 3 tabs with dataviews it clears to views,
the other time it clears one... very strange.
What exactly is saved with each project? I do hope the layouts of the tabbed windows also? It is annoying to redefine the views
each time I open up a project (the essence of SE is just to be able to measure signals, save the project and two hours later be able to
just open the project again and measuring immediately or am I wrong? It is a loss of time if I have to "makeup" the views again
just by opening the same project again!)

Ok, the popping and crackling issue many have has gone on? long enough I would think. So I am thinking could it possiably be a power issue?What I mean is, like any kind of device that uses power if it is not getting the FULL required amount then what are the chances of failure if even on a small scale. So, is there a way to read the power usage going to the sound card/s? I know you can read the power going to Video cards, thus to trouble shoot an issue in regards to BSOD, crashes and the like concerning the VGA device. If the power goes under the required amount, you can see it and then simply wait for the system to crash. Seen this many times myself. Same with CPUs and mainboards. If the power goes under whats needed for stable operation, you get issues. I then would have to think the same thing goes for sound cards. Im not to sure but what is the required amount of amps for a sound card anyway? 5V or something running via the PCI slot? I dont know. So how can we gauge the amount of power going to a sound card and then assertain weather or not enough power is indeed getting to the device?I cant do anything to messure this but I would have to think the CL team would have the tools to read power usage then perhaps force a lower current to test weather or not the device fails or gives issue in regards to popping and crackling. My main thought here was when a light, be it a tourch or a lamp is not getting the fully required amount of amps, the light flickers. So would a sound device, not getting enough power flicker so to speak, hence popping and crackling. Anyway, its just a thought and I have not read anything anywhere on power consumption in regards to sound cards and the adverse affects if the devices is not getting full power. Plenty of listings on CPU , Video , memory and mainboards though. Any thoughts from anyone would be great as I think a power usage range on sound cards has not been fully investigated. well not to my knowlage anyway. Cheers

It could be but i think its unlikely, if it was the other stuff in your pc would suffer. I think its more due to the old creative?cards do this on certain boards chestnut which?at a glance seems to be plaguing?nforce 4 & 3 users, nforce 2 also had the same thing with the audigy 2 range, but that seemed to be more prevalent when?a sata controller was used. They both seemed to be fighting over ?pci bandwidth, there were loads of fixes ranging from changing your video card pci latency to 32 to wrapping the card in tin foil. None of these were a fix for all though and that never seemed to get fixed to my knowledge. I got the chance to try out my x-fi in an nforce 4 board last night and i can only say i pity you guys the crackles coming from my once nice clean x-fi dumbfounded me, and got me worried to. Back in my motherboard the crackles are not present thank god.

No, I do NOT want support anymore. Oh, obviously, support here seems to be done by users themselves.
I've got a Nokia 3500c since about two years now. I used Nokia PC Suite for multiple months with random success. Sometimes it worked like a charm, some others ones I just had to go to hell! I never needed to daily synchronize my data so I did not look further.
The day before yesterday I wanted to synchronize my phone data with my Windows (7) Contacts. So, since I've never installed PC Suite on W7 since I bought it, I went here to download some "that go well" executables installers. PC Suite and this amaaaaaaaazing memory eater called "Ovi Suite". NO ONE wants to synchronize anything!
I uninstalled/cleaned/reinstalled them about TEN time since that day!! On this PC and on two others ones (W7/WXP). I tryied with USB cable and two Blutooth dongles (I bought a new one this afternoon). I reset my phone about three times. I read and read forums threads and tryied ALL the solutions given by others members. I also reinstalled my phone software. NO-THING to do!
I've got ALL updates, etc. But Nokia softwares are definitively unusable! Thus, since real developers make something REALLY usable, I switch to something else. It's a shame, because I own Nokia since so many years, but I heard that other manufacturers, like LG for instance, are doing more great stuffs. And frankly, it's not complicated.

Help needed - new to Blackberry and not very techy - calendar problems

I love my new Blackberry Curve 9300 BUT tried to synchronise Google calendar to Blackberry calendar. For some dates I have 100s of duplicated entries and they are recurring to infinity it seems. Have tried everything but seems the only solution is to completely clear the calendar but unable to find out from anywhere how to do this. I tried via desktop but states that it is read only data and so can't be deleted. I need to delete 6000 entries LOL
Help! Can someone just give me a phone number as have searched internet for help and no solution to problem. Calendar completely useless now and feel like throwing it out of the window...and then stamping on it 6000 times (as many times as there are erroneous entries on my calendar!!!)

Sorry to hear you are having Calendar sync issues with your BlackBerry® Curve™ 9300 smartphone.
You can call your mobile network carrier for walkthrouh assistance with this request and if needed, they can transfer you to Research In Motion® .
If you want to try and resolve this yourself, in your Calendar go to Menu>Options and click on your Gmail® account and clear the check from Wireless Synchronization.
You can then clear the Calendar database on your BlackBerry as shown in KB10167 How to clear the user content databases from the BlackBerry smartphone
