I need some help figuring out why parts of my form don't work

I have built a couple forms to use with my work, the first 1 is a write up sheet that I fill out while on a field job. When complete, I have an insert button that inserts times, dates customer info and employee info into a MYSQL database that is pertinent to the second form which is a standard type timecard. It is with the timecard form that I am having problems. On the timecard form I have a radio button list with seven buttons (1 for each "start/stop" row of the timecard) when I click a button it makes a subform on the second page visible that allows me to insert the data from my database into the start/stop field of the timecard. I used the action builder to make these subforms visable and invisible and this all works except for 1. Also one of the subforms won't insert the data. I can't for the life of me figure out why, I have gone over both problems and don't see anything to cause it. I was hoping that I could upload my form and database somewhere and have somebody look it over, maybe I have overlooked something but at this point I have studied the problems for 3 days and haven't figured either out. any help would be greatly appreciated

What I need is that the "Total" column (i.e. C6) automatically takes the above "total" (i.e. C5) and withdraws the "outcome" (i.e. A6) and adds the "income" (i.e. B6) from the same row. I know I can use the formula "=C5-A6+B6" but what can I type to tell it to take the above "total" and withdraw and add the A and B in the corresponding row?

I'm with WWJD in not understanding what you're wanting to do. Why, because the formula you're using is, to my minds eye, doing what you're asking. I recreated your spreadsheet from Flickr to Numbers. Using cell C3 I used your formula then copied down to C6 receiving the same results in the total column as you have in your sheet.
It appears to me you've created the correct formula. Allow me to ask the same question that WWJD asks, "are you wanting to copy the formula down multiple rows"?

If you were using Apple's BootCamp and received this message, quit it and open Disk Uility in your Applicaitons/Utilities folder.
Select the Macintosh HD partition on the left and select Erase and Erase Free Space > Zero option and let it complete (important) this will check the spare space for bad sectors that can cause issues formatting partitions.
Once it's completed, try creating a partiton again in BootCamp.
If that doesn't work, then hold command option r keys down while connected to a fast internet connection, Internet Recovery should load (spinning globe) and then in that Disk Utility, select your entire internal drive and click > First Aid > Repair Disk and Permissions.
reboot and attempt Bootcamp again.
If you still get a error, it might be that you have OS X data on the bottom area where BootCamp partition needs to go. This would occur if you had the drive or computer for a long time or wrote a large amount of files to the drive and nearly filling it up and then reduced some, but it left traces in the area BootCamp needs to go.
To fix this

The top power button on my iPod touch doesnt work anymore. What do I need to do to fix it or figure out why it all of a sudden stopped working??

I need help figuring out why my computer is running so slowly

My computer suddenly decided to run incredibly slow to the point where it struggles to open and run any programs aside from web browsers. It's gotten so bad I've had to force quit most if not all of my programs that I've tried to run. It's been running slower than usual for a little while now but not noticeably so. After I installed photoshop cs6 is when I noticed it began running REALLY slow. I've since then uninstalled photoshop completely but my computer is still running really slow. I've no idea why it's so slow I've tried restarting and rebooting my computer to no avail. Below is my EtreCheck specs and whatnot. Please help me

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

I'm using Firefox 3.6.23 on my windows 2000 and lately i've been having issues with web pages loading and need help figuring out why.

Try this.
Type in the address bar about:config.
Accept the warning.
In the page that appears, in the Filter box, type network.http.max-connections. Change the value to 32 (which is probably set to 256 in your case).
Close that page. Restart the browser.

Need help figuring out why multiple X servers screws up keyboard

This is a bit tricky to explain so I hope I can be clear enough.
Normally when running under X the key sequences like ALT-F1 or CTRL-ALT-DEL are trapped by the X server. This forces you to use CTRL-ALT-F1 and CTRL-ALT-DEL doesn't usually do anything unless you set it up in your window manager or whatever.
I'm running multiple X servers on my machine, one on the default VT7 and another on VT8 (both using the same keyboard, mouse, and video cards). The problem is when I start the second X server the first one stops trapping those special sequences. In other words, if I press ALT-F1 in the first X server it actually changes to VT1 or if I press CTRL-ALT-DEL it shutdown/reboots the machine. The second X server works like normal and traps those sequences.
Anyone know what's going on? It is some sort of problem with sharing the keyboard between two X servers? I used to run this configuration years ago and never had a problem.

Pressing Alt-Sysreq-R ("raw" keyboard mode magic key) seems to do the same thing. Is there some way to reset the keyboard back to normal after doing that? Without restarting X.

Could someone help me figure out why after saving a form some subforms are hidden again

I am asking this on behalf of a coworker. We have a form she is working on with a drop down (ddlDropDown) with 1, 2, and 3 listed (same values,,1,2,3) That trigger hidden subforms to appear (Employee1, Employee2, Employee3). Initially, Employee1 is visible. If form user selects 2 or 3 in the dropdown then Employee2 and Employee3 become Visible. Once the form is filled in, saved, closed and reopened Employee2 and Employee3 are hidden again even though the dropdown says 2 or 3. The script behind the dropdown's change event is:

subSELECT.Employee3.presence=this.rawValue==3?"visible":"hidden";
I have tried adding this code to the form's initialize, docReady, preOpen, postOpen, layout:ready events but it still doesn't work.

I am in desperate need of help figuring out how to create intricate cut marks around artwork to be made into stickers in indesign.

Hi everyone! I am brand new to InDesign, took a beginner's class on it, bought a Mac, ready to dive in. A friend of mine offered me an amazing opportunity to be the "middle man" for her sticker/magnet distributing business. She already has the artists and she does the printing and distributing (obviously) my job will be to create the cut marks around the artwork to designate where the printer blade should cut.....I have tried googling and you tubing, but my terminology is clearly severely lacking. ANY SORT OF ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!!! Thank you so much

Here's a method for creating a contour line in ID that might work in many situations to create the die line you'll need:
Place the art, then copy and "paste in place" so you have two stacked images.
For this type of art it's pretty likely that there is a strong edge contrast, even a transparent background, so there's a good chance you can make a decent clipping path. Select the top copy, go to Object > Clipping Path > Options... and set it to detect edges (turn on the preview). Play with the tolerance and threshold sliders (lower numbers are likely to work better) until you get a path that matches the shape to your satisfaction, and set an Inset Frame value if you want to chop off part of the art (not likely) or enter a negative value for moving the line away from the art (very likely). When you're happy, click OK.
Object > Clipping Path > Convert Clipping Path to Frame, then double click on the art inside the newly shaped frame to select the content (or use the direct select tool) and delete it, leaving the frame and the other art behind it intact. Apply a stroke to the contoured frame, colored with a spot color assigned to die lines (die lines are always a spot color so they are on their own plate all alone), and set the stroke to overprint.
Group with the art and you're done.

Go to the iPods syncing computer. Open iTunes and open iTunes' Preferences. Go to the Devices tab and hoover the mouse pointer over the backup for that iPod. The SN whill come up.

Can't figure out why "Offline" Pls -Help!

I am running a HP Officejet Pro k5400 Series on a network through a print server running Windows Server 2008 64bit. I have the printer installed and configured and was working fine however, now it is offline and I cannot figure out why. I have redirects and they work fine. The diagnositc shows that it is fine and "ready". Yet if I try to print to the actual printer, not one of the redirects, I eventually get a message that the printer is offline. If it's a network issue then the redirects shouldn't be working either! What am I missing?????

Check in disk utilities and repair permissions. Also look and see how much free space you have. As a rule the minimum is 10%, more is better. If you have some large apps putting them on an external dive can free up you start up volume.

Can anyone out there help me figure out why I am having trouble opening a gray scale tiff in ID and

I have been opening tiffs and coloring them successfully for years, and all of a sudden it is not working. I made a logo in Illustrator, saved it as an ai, opened that in PS, saved as a grayscale tiff, and then opened it in ID. First the white background box was there, so I went back into Illustrator and knocked out group, then in PS preserved transparancy. I succeeded in losing the white box, but then in ID when I tried to color it, nothing happened. I checked all my ID settings, and just cannot figure out why this is happening.

Colorizing in ID works for NON-transparent grayscales or Bitmap mode raster files only.
A Bitmap mode image in a frame filled with [None] and colorized will appear transparent in the white areas, but you'll need to ad a clipping path for grayscale, or change the blend mode and live with overprints, which you probbly don't want.

I have a cleaner copy now after someone suggested GIMP, so played with it last night - though couldn't figure out transparency - that was clear on converter- just not cooperative till these wonderful directions.
So now I know how to do it without messing with the pic, and with messing with it - both good lessons and got a bit brighter color out of the deal.
