I need some truthfull information

Hi previous threads i had a problem with this computer and changed out the memory and finally worked... for awhile. was working great turned it off yesterday and turned it on today and now its dead again. hard drive light on and the dlink card all red and no video. so naturally i changed out the memory again but this time no go. So I ask of all you. Is this motherboard just junk or is just AMD junk? The reason i ask this is because i never ever had a problem with intel based computers. i tried AMD awhile back and had to fight to get it to work so gave up and just stuck with intel. then i decided to give AMD another try with the 64 bit and now my AMD woes are back. I also never used a microstar before i usually use Gigabyte or Asus. Never any problems. Now I do this for a living. I am an IT mangaer at a big company so I do this all the time for the last 20 years so i know what i am doing. Is it just the motherboard thats crap or the cpu crap. I would love some input. I am testing this to see if i should roll this out company wide. So far this is causing more trouble then its worth. Thanks

Screen failure, need some technical information

I have the lenovo y510p sli version. Last night while browsing the internet, the screen suddenly went black (the pc did not shut down, just the screen), and I got a burnt metallic smell. I turned off the laptop and removed the battery. I went to test it after the fact, the pc boots, however the led screen seems to not be backlit now. I can see the lenovo logo slightly if I angle it right, but it as if there is no "backlighting" on the screen. I know for a fact it is not a software issue. I ordered a replacement led screen. My question is whether the entire led controller board is built into the led assembly, or if there is a separate control for the screen that is built into the motherboard that may have caused the failure.

I need some serious help with Oracle Database....PLEASE!!

I am using Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 that has Oracle Database 10g and Wondows XP installed on it.
Database instance is DOWN but that is not the problem
Listener is UP
Agent Connection to Instance is DOWN, and I cannot get this running!
How can I fix this problem? I am not an expert, but I have been trying for a long time to fix this issue, but I can't. It just came to the point that I want to grab my pc and throw it across the room.

I am working on a similar project.
Actually, i can encode 2 streams in h.264 with a resolution around 640X480 on a Intel Xeon E3120 (2 core) 3.16 GHZ configuration.
OS is a windows XP 32 bits. CPU usage is around 75%.
(note: FMLE instances are run with FMLEcmd not GUI mode)

Suppose if i have jre 1.5 customized with "additional language support" installed in my my desktop, and later on i install jre 1.6. will this jre over write all the esisting settings which was present in jre 1.5?
In short will the version upgrades disable the features of the old Version even though the old version is present in the desktop?

That's correct. _After_ you got your C/C
++ test program (and USB
driver) above working, then you can convert this little test program
into a DLL or CIN, which can interface with LabView. A DLL might be
easier (slightly) to write, but the CIN will work faster with LabView
and can be designed to be reentrant. The Code Interface Reference
Manual should guide you. Remember, this is a task for an _experienced_
C programmer. You'll need to use handles to pointers into all your
dynamic arrays and such passed into LabView.
After you got your CIN or DLL written, you can use a special CIN
function node to "link" (or bind) your CIN object into LabView's VI
diagram.
SOME THOUGHTS:
There are many hardware devices already on the market today that come
with Windows 98 drivers and DLL (or even CIN) libraries that would work
immediately with LabView. Why don't you save yourself three months of
work and simply buy one of these?
