I need sound drivers and graphic drivers to my dv2278ea pavillion notebook

Hi there
i am using this Hp pavillion dv2278ea
I borrowed this from my brother
it had Windows 7 installed
the issue was speakers continued sounding even after Headohines are jacked in.
So i downgraded my laptop to Vista Home premium Sp 2.
Now even bigger problem approached.
i am unable to install sound drivers( the hp support is showing the drivers ,i have tried all but none of it is working
Sound Device name=High definition Audio device
Manufacturer= Microsoft
None of the following drivers are working
cognixent high definition audio(error = could not find media for this driver)
MUaa
and yes even Graphic drivers all suggested are not installing
Nvidia MCP(error=it say you are playing 32bit on 64bits)
Please suggest me proper drivers that work

OCI is Oracle Call Interface. That's the lowest-level client API Oracle offers and the API that every thick client application eventually uses. For example, a C++ application using ADO would use the OLE DB driver which is itself written in OCI.
From a deployment standpoint, the major difference is that the thin driver can be deployed to any machine that has Java installed. The OCI driver can only be deployed to machines that have the Oracle client installed.
From a performance & functionality standpoint, there are features that only the OCI driver provides. Depending on the application, the OCI driver may also be faster.

How do I install the sound and graphics drivers on my Equium L40-10Z?

Ok heres the deal, I have everything working pretty much except the sound. Its the analogue inc card that I have on this laptop and not the Realteck one. I believe it also goes under the name of SoundMAX. Been searching for the driver on google for hours now, so can anyone tell me if they have managed to get their sound working and how?
Also about the graphics, I am not fussed but if anyone has any info on that it would be great.
Does anybody know the specs of the chip set, motherboard etc for this laptop, so I can download the chipset drivers.

I downgraded from Vista so I only have a Vista system resume disc. Also my model is the psl41e which has a slightly different soundcard than the psl49e, which the xp drivers are for. I am downloading all the Toshiba branded drivers, but if someone could tell me how to find the Analogue SoundMAX driver on xp for the psl41e then I would be very greatful.
Also how do I find out the specs of my chipset etc?

I need help updating the graphic drivers for my laptop.

Recently purchasd a new game and I am having some issues with the graphics. Every post I have read suggests it is an issue between HP and amd. I keep trying and seem to be going backwards. I would love to actually talk to someone from hp but they haven their number very well. I have tried every combination between hp and amd and I am obviously missing something. I dont have much hair left to pull out.

Premiere Pro and graphics drivers

I’ve started a trial of Premiere Pro but when I try to open the programme, I get an error message stating: ‘Adobe Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules. Please update your video display drivers and start again’.
I’ve tried rolling back my graphics driver to an earlier version and this fixed the problem. However, I can’t use this driver as it only offers a very limited screen resolution. When I updated my graphics driver, I got the same error message.
Does anyone know a solution to this?

You must install the Windows Support software. This support software contains the Windows drivers for your hardware. Since you are running Snow Leopard, the support software is on the Snow Leopard installation disk.

Sound and graphics drivers for Satellite P200-1EE and Windows XP

Hello all,
I just bought a new Sattelite P200-1EE. I had it downgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 2. from Vista.
I have two problems:
1. I cannot find the graphics driver for the ATI Radeon Mobility HD2600 for Windows XP. When I hit the link,
I get an "could not connect to remote server".
2. I cannot get the sound driver to work. In fact, I can't even see the sound card. Ishel there something else I need to install?

Regarding the point;
1) It looks like a driver server issue possibly the guys maintain the server. I would recommend checking this in next few days.
2) First of all you have to update the XP to the latest state. All available MS hotfixes for XP must be installed. Very important are these patches; KB888111 and KB835221. You have to install these patches before the sound driver installation.

Satellite U400-183 - Need Recovery DVD and AHCI drivers

Hi there,
I tried to reinstall Win Vista Home Premium to my Satellite U400-183. I used a Win OS DVD that came with my other Notebook from an other manufacture and the Key which came with my Toshiba notebook. Everything worked just fine but in certain areas of Windows still are some specific settings from the other manufacture. Now is there a possibility to get a Windows Vista DVD from Toshiba?
Another question is where I can get the AHCI drivers. There is only a exe file on the support site which i can't use while installing Windows. There have to be these .sys files but I can't find them on the Toshiba site, so I had to install Windows in compatibility mode.

A new recovery DVD you can get from your local ASP (authorized service provider).
Or you order a DVD from Toshiba directly:

The AHCI drivers or lets say Intel Storage Manager you can download from the Toshiba website as you already said.
The .exe file you must extract to use it during the installation but with the recovery disk you dont need them.
Please read the readme file in from the Storage Manager, there is an example how to extract it. Use he command line

My video driver is 2.5 years old i want to updrade it sexrched in official website got it too but cant click and download the driver. Phone support told me to log in with my serial number and profuct model but nothing happened. How to get drivers and download drivers for my HP 2000-261NR notebook?

I need to download all the original drivers for my HP notebook so that they may be reinstalled on a new hard drive. The old hard drive failed. A new harddrive and Windows 7 64 bit OS have already been installed. The HP support website locks up in a continuous loop when it says it is searching for drivers. It's been almost an hour and it is still searching with no results showing. Sound Enhancer and Graphic Equalizer

Can someone explain to me what Sound Enhancer actually does? is it like the pre-amp in the older versions of iTunes's equalizer? Speaking of which, is there no longer a graphic equalizer in itunes?

I don't have Equalizer in my "View" menu. Just:

Need sound drivers for a Pavillion dv8309us running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit OS. I'm getting "no audio output device is installed" error after trying various different drivers. Sometimes the driver will install and I'll reboot, but to no avail I end up with the same error and a red X over the speaker in the system tray. I've tried Realtek drivers and Conexant drivers from HP. When I run Windows upgrade advisor it recognizes the problem, but Microsoft doesn't offer a compatible driver. At this point I'm very desperate considering everything else works fine and I don't want to go back too XP Media Center. If there is anything you can do to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Trying to update Graphics drivers...and others

Hello,
I am having a few issues with my laptop. Think I need to upgrade the graphics drivers. Possibly update other things as well. Doesn't seem like it's any of the basic "Windows Updates" either. When I download the Intel driver update, it tells me I need to go to the computer manufacturer...which of course is Toshiba...instead of thru them.
Any guidance? How do I update the graphic drivers and check for other updates, drivers or whatever else, for my Toshiba laptop?
Laptop = Satellite P55t - A5118 running on Intel i7.
