I need the 10.9.4 installer
This should be a pretty simple task, right? So easy and simple and obvious that even the biggest dolt on the Internet should be able to manage, right?
Wrong.
I cannot get it from the App Store, as there's already an email address in the Apple ID field, greyed out, because we had the temerity to download an older installer and use it on multiple Macs. Apple decided that each download should, for some bizarre reason, be forever permanently locked to the Apple ID used to download it, because... anything else would be too convenient?
Then I hit on the idea of using Recovery. I created a second partition, pointed the install at it, and let it go. When my Mac rebooted, I zapped the PRAM, booted into my original OS, and prepared to revel in the glory of a nice new installer. WRONG! Apple decided I should get Lion this way. LION!
So... how, precisely, does one obtain the most recent Mavericks installer?
The 'OS install & Apple ID rules' are opaque to me too, sorry.

Yes, gladly. I am trying to install on a 13" MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.3. I insert the disk into the SuperDrive. The I work '09 window pops up with two icons: one Tim install and one that says "Read before you install iWork." I double-click on the "Install iWork '09" icon, and a window appears that says, "This package will run a program to determine if the software can be installed." I click "continue" and see "Welcome to the iWork '09 installer." I click on "Continue." The "read me" bullet on the left lights up, and I see "Read before you install. . . ." I click "Continue," then see the software license agreement. When I click on "Continue" again, I am asked to agree, and I do. The window then says, "Standard Install on 'Mackintosh HD" and indicates how much space the program will take.
I click "Install," enter my password, and the installation begins. It goes through a validating phase and begins "writing files." It indicates that installation will take about 30 minutes (although that number fluctuates). After about four minutes it goes to "cleaning up." Then after just a few seconds, the "Summary" bullet on the left lights up and this message appears: "There were errors with the installation. You may want to try installing again." There is a large yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it, and a bold "The installation failed." Below that appears "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."
At that point, a "Close" button is pulsating blue at the bottom of the window.

I have a new-in-box version of Audition 3.0 that I purchased about 6 years ago; for a variety of reasons it's been sitting on the shelf all that time. I now need to install it; It installs fine on my system (Win XP) but I can't get it to activate. I'm trying to use phone activation because the machine I will be using is not net-connected. Some of my applications have been saying I need the latest version of Adoebe Flash Player. When I try to download it I get the following error message: 'Frame Load interrupted' and the installation stops. Any suggestions?
You can only use apps downloaded from the App store, not via a browser. There is no Flash for any iOS device including the iPod.

After having installed OS X v10.9.1 on my computer, the apple store purchases suggests downloading 10.9 update or the full OS X installer. Do I need to do that?
Are these shown in the App Store's Updates page? If not, then you don't need them. You could download the full Mavericks installer application if you want to create a bootable USB flash drive installer or just to keep handy should you need it (store it in your Downloads folder.)

If you are asking about how to get the 2 discs that came with your mac..you need to call Apple and give them the serial number associated with your mac and they will send them to you for a fee (I dont know how much it costs)

I recently purchased a hp deskjet 1512 all-in-one printer and even though I have the installation cd, can't use it on the old computer. I am trying to install iTunes on a windows 7/64 OS. the 32 bit version said that I needed the 64 bit version. The 64 bit version syas that it is not a valid Win32 application. How do I get around this problem??

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

I need the 64 bit installer to install10.5.1 on Windows 7
When I try to install iTunes 10.5.1 (64 bit), I get a message that I have the wrong (32 bit) installer and to download the correct one from the Bonjour section of Apple downloads. I do the download of Bonjour Print Services. the only option, but the problem remains the same. I was trying to fix the problem with iTunes not connecting to the store.
I am having the same problem. Have you uncovered any solution yet? I noticed the banner on the dialog box with the error message is being sent from Quick time which I don't understand because Quick time is required in version 10.5.1.
Having to get support this way is terrible. I think Apple just does not give a crap about how they treat their customers. -

Start with removing iTunes in the order of the first article states, which is iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later). Once that is done, then download iTunes 64 bit version from the second link below and run that installer.
