What is the easiest and fastest way for me to get the iOS 5.1 update for my ipad2? I am non tech savvy and am a new user to apple devices.

If you are already running iOS 5 on your iPad go to Setrings>General>aoftware Update and you can update over the air via WiFi. If you are not running iOS 5 you have to connect the iPad to your computer and update via iTunes.

  • Sony M4 Aqua Review- The Good , The Bad and The Faulty

The small capacity "cheap" android phones are best avoided, tbh. The flagship phones, even 3 year old ones, are much better buys that an up to date small capacity phone.
I assume you have tried the app called "apps2sd" to see if any others can be moved away from the internal storage?

I bought the M4 as a replacement for my iphone 4. Although I like Apple products I looked at the new iphones and they didnt seem that different than my old phone other than speed and screen size and I felt like trying some thing new.My wife swapped her iPhone for a Z3 Compact and it seemed good. Nice screen, good camera, very customisable and waterproof. All for less than an Apple, so I thought I'd give it a go.So, The Good - Good screen size and  feel to the phone. Easy set up and transfer of data using xperia exchange via my macbook. Even managed to sync Macbook calendars with phone via great Sunrise App from Playstore. The Bad, although the phone only has 8Gb of internal memory I though this with a microSD card 16 Gb would be enough as my iPhone only had 8Gb in total. I dont store a great deal of music and photos on the phone as I download regularly. I was wrong though as the Lollipop Android operating system used aapprox half the 8Gb and the onboard Sony software approx 2Gb I was left with between 1.5 and 2Gb for apps as some wont download to SD cards. So I wasn't able to use all the apps I had on the iPhone. Now, The Faulty - only hours after setting up the phone and all the apps I could, an app update notification came through. The only problem? There wasn't sufficient memory space to update. So I removed all the apps I had added and updated the mandatory apps - a ball ache but it worked, I then had to reload the apps, along with the Sony apps, which had now taken up more memory and left only 1-1.5 gb for apps. The SD card cover keeps popping open when in your pocket. The phone started to say there was no SIM card and no sevice.Three weeks into ownership and the phone has frozen while on charge, won't reboot and has had to go back to the factory for repair with consequent loss of data. Under 28 days and O2 insist on repair not replacement - poor service. Conclusion - Nice looking phone, Nice features, but the memory is insufficient for the operating system and software they have included on the phone. The compact Z3 would be better if you can live with a smaller screen. Will I stick with Sony for 2 Years like i did Apple?- the jury is out.

  • Is there any way to add PO no and  corresponding line item of PO in VL32N?

    Hello,
The scenario is, we have created the IBD and deleted one of the line item and saved it.
We went to VL32N and added the missing line item to IBD but PO number and corresponding item number of PO field of newly added line items are grayed out. We are not able to add PO number in VL32N screen.
Is there any way to add PO number and corresponding line item of PO in VL32N screen of IBD? Our client does not want to create new IBD for same PO. He wants to add the line item in same IBD.
    Thanks,

  • One inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items

    Hi All,
My client requirement is one inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items.
    Please share your thoughts.
Thanks in advance for early reply.
    Regards,
    Jishu

    I totally agree with Amol.
I don't think I would touch that development nor would I ever tell a client it could reliably be done through development.
Knowing what I know about the table structures, I don't think you could create any development for this that could use a significant amount of the existing tables and functionality.  I think you'd have to create all your own Z tables and basically rebuild the functionality.  Tying it back in with SAP data will be difficult.
You're even looking at all custom screens for your results recording and UD as well.  And if you have follow-on functions like batch classification requirements, batch determination, COA publication, results copy functions, use of DMR and sampling procedures, physical samples, quality notifications, etc. etc.. you could be looking a whole lot of development.

  • Post Invoice for Service Entry with many Service line item-MM-LIV

    Dear All,
I have a problem to post Invoice for Service Entry with many Service line item. The problem is as follow:
I have created 1 Service Entry which has 5 Service line item in it. Three of the service line item are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT), the others aren't. Then, i wanted to post Invoice for the Service Entry, however, it just display 1 item which amount in total. How can i segregate each service line item in Service Entry thus i can post Invoice for all Service line item with subject to VAT and all service item with not subject to VAT, if just 1 Service Entry created for it ?
    Please help me.
    Thank You

    Hi Ganda,
If you mark the 'service based invoice verification' checkbox in your PO item, your service items will be in your invoice as seperate invoice lines. Then you can modify the taxcodes on service item level.
    Kind regards, Dick Hendriks.

  • BT - The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

    The Good
I see BT getting a hammering in this forum for upload speeds and broken promises.
I want to say that BT Engineer came round today as promised and sorted my problems out.
Ran some tests and although he said they seemed ok, he did an AC test? Said that it was marginal at 54 (anybody know what this is?)
He has connected a different line and the AC result went up to 75 which is good (apparently).
My BB has been running at 25 Mb down and after he released the profile, now gone up to 36Mb. (May not hold at that!)
Good guy, great work, well done BT.
    The Bad
Under ADSL, the hub showed FEC and CRC errors. BT have chosen to remove this facility in HH3 and I can understand why as for the "average" user, too much knowledge is a dangerous thing. I'm sure customer service was being overwhelmed with calls of "is this right?"
However, it is very frustrating when you know you have a line problem, but officially all you can report to BT is that the line speed has dropped by 10Mb.
I know my line is capable of 30 - 36 Mb but when you phone the call centre (see below) you restart the hub and of course when you find it's still only 25 Mb because your IP profile has been capped by the DSLAM, you are then told that this is acceptable because anything above 20Mb is fine. It's not fine! (Rant)
Of course I have other VDSL modems which are able to five me full stats on DSL errors and surprise, surprise, I'm getting 10 million FEC errors in 15 minutes.
    The Ugly
Quite simply the call centres; actually, certain call centres.
I phone up and report my poor download speed.
    25Mb is acceptable
No it's not I've been running at 33Mb.
    OK restart the hub.
    No better
OK I'll do some line tests....there is a fault on the line. (No shiz Sherlock)
An engineer will sort it within 48 hours.
Will he need access to the house?
No - he will look at the cab and the line.
    Next day...
Call from BT...Has your speed recovered.
    No
Oh we'll need to send an engineer out
    Hmmmmm
Engineer turned up as promised (back to top)
    In summary
    BT Engineers - great.
    BT Infinity itself - great.
I understand the limitation of line length, copper, flooded access points, weather, Xtalk, so am not expecting a full 40Mb service. Just please don't fib to me that I should be ok with 20Mb on a faulty line.
    BT Customer support:
    Online support - great
    Forum mods - great
    Offshore - forget it

    Thanks for the comments.
FEC error details showing on HH3 - understand that but you are probably aware that these can be (ahem) obtained from the HG612 if you were so inclined.
I honestly wanted to say that the product offering and the technical support has been good from BT, probably because I got a decent result to be fair.
In this particular case I got L2 support - never got to those heady hights before, and recieved a call after engineer had been asking if it had been resolved to my satisfaction etc. so tick in the box. Recieved another call this morning.
You've probably nailed it by pointing out the VERY conservative etimates of speed for contractual purposes.
Even the DSLAMs have got the "script" When you have a good connection and decent IP profile, the acceptable range is high, when your profile has dropped through the floor, acceptable speeds are low. Hope we can change the goalposts like this in the European Championships!

  • The Good The Bad And The Ugly

    These are my thoughts:
Battery: seems to run down fast even with the display turned half way down.
Video: World of warcraft runs very smooth and i get 30-60 FPS (my old PB 1.67 17" 2gigs ram did 4FPS 30FPS)
Performance: Can't tell that much of a difference.
Screen: Very bright ( To Bright)
Isight: need very good lighting or your image comes out as a shadow
Overall good notebook for the price
2.0 intel core duo 2gigs of ram 5400rpm drive

Calibrate your battery. Under "Normal" setting in Energy Saver my calibrated battery shows about 3:54 remaining time. Fairly normal for this type of machine.
See my benchmarks re: speed. ( http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=381617&tstart=0 )
    Reduce screen brightness using keyboard.
Of course you need good lighting with iSight. The lens is not designed to work in low-light - it's too small.

  • MacBook Display - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Hello Everyone - I've decided to creat this post in order to voice some of my findings with regards to the MacBook and MacBook Pro Displays.
Just recently I've compared my MacBook (black) display to a number of different brand name notebook displays. I've come to the following conclusin.
Notebooks such as LG X-note, Samsung, Sony VAIO and HP Pavillion all have better displays in general. They are brighter, don't have uneven backlight distribution and considerably better viewing angles.
The MacBook has a decent display - not an awfull one - It's relatively bright with decent backlight distribution - but viewing angles (mainly vertical) are not as good.
I'm little dissapointed here, and will be looking for a better display from Apple when considering and upgrade 2 years down the road.
MacBook Pro on the other hand has a very dissapoining screen indeed. I've compared my notebook to MacBook Pro and I can tell you that I would quickly return it and go for the MacBook. Of all the 15" notebooks I've seen, MacBook Pro has a serious problem with uneven brightness distribution (backlight), grainy looking images (mate display) and even worse viewing angles. I had to stand good 6 feet away from the unit to see it clearly. When about 2 feet away from the unit - u can't see the whole screen evenly, no matter how I tilted it (observed on all 3 models in the store - mate/glossy).
I'm very happy I opted for the cheaper MacBook!!!
Finally: I'm still very happy with my purchase of the black MB. I have to give 2 thumbs to Apple for designing the most beautifull 13" notebook. Very solid, looks and feels better than any other notebook out there.
The list of pro's is very large for me - and even though the MB display could have been better - It's still good enough for what I need.
I hope someone from Apple goes through these posts and takes some of our concerns into consideration. I've just switched from PC to Mac's and I don't want to go back. But I do feel that Display is probably the second most importat feature of any notebook, and hope that Apple will consider improving in this department.
P.S. I would take better display over better Video Card any day.

If I recall the first reviews correctly, the display on the Macbook was praised for brightness, sharpness, and outside viewability (ability to be used in bright sunlight). It was faulted for angle viewing, both laterally and vertically. In other words, one had to be dead-on for the viewing, as compared to other displays.
I'd say mine is 100% with that review. It is amazingly crisp and sharp, great color. But, I can't stray from the viewing angle. I find myself constantly adjusting the lid angle, especially when a photograph is too contrasty or not contrasty enough.
That's OK. I compensated and bent my body to fit the computer. ;>)

  • 3 way match between PO/GR/IR per line item

    Hi..
I'm having an issue with 3 way match between PO/GR/IR. I want to this on line item level. As standard, SAP will compare line items based on line item numbers when doing the match (at least for quantity match). However, this is not possible since the vendors don't always use the line items in the PO (send to them) to create the invoice. And sometimes they simply leave out the line item number. However, the material number is always on the PO, GR and IR. Is it possible to do the 3 way match per line item using the material number as the unique identifier?
    Kind regards
    hundvov

    hi
    Three Way Match
Yes, Three Way Match Means PO -> GR -> IV
For this, You need to Put Tick mark against GR Based IR in Purchase Order Item Detail Invoice Tab and Vendor Master Purchasing Tab.
Once This Purchase Order is Saved. You cannot do / System will not allow you IR Until you make Goods Receipt for the Purchase Order.
The same applies to External Services.

    Hello MM Gurus,
I am not able to print preview of a PO for which i deleted all the line items. It gives me a message saying that no print relevant changes.
Client need to print such POs. Client expects a text like "item cancelled " for deleted PO items.
My understanding is that its standard SAP pre delivered customising however it is not working.
    Pls suggest.

Ask your ABAPer to modify the smart form, deleted materials wouldn't come for obvious reasons in standard system ... you need to get in customized/ developed.

  • Payment terms for Customer Invoice with a credit line item

    Hi all,
We have a business scenario where we create customer invoices on a weekly basis. The payment terms for these items are a certain payment discount if paid within 365 days. Included in these invoices are credit items which relate to refunds that are due to the customer.
Below is a scenario for Customer XXXX:
    Invoice 1 Baseline date 12.01.2007
    Invoice 2 Baseline date 08.02.2008
    Invoice 3 Baseline date 15.02.2008
I have set up a payment run for this customer to direct debit their items. In my scenario I only want to pick up the first two invoices.
Therefore I set up the payment run to pick up those items which are due up to 09.02.2009, setting the next payment run posting date to 10.02.2009. I would expect the system to pick up only the first two invoices.
What the system does is that it pays/collects the first two invoices in total, but then selects only the credit items of invoice 3. I would expect it to ignore Invoice 3 altogether.
In another example if I had the same invoices, but invoice 3 did not have any credit items involved, then it does ignore invoice 3 as
    expected.
I need to understand why for the credit items within a customer invoice are treated differently in relation to payment terms.
    Thanks
    Natalie

In the customer master assign a different credit memo term than the payment term.
Try changing the credit memo term for 3rd Invoice as such it do not fall in your selection criteria.
