I need to access my deceased Fiance' text messaging

Hello, I need to find out how I can get the passcode of a prepaid Verizon cell phone that I purchased in July 2011 for my Fiance (who passed away in September 2011), I activated the phone online and registered it in my name. I haven't been able to locate the phone.

Well, I'm not an expert but I hope this helps you. You say you purchased the phone and activated the phone online and registered it in your name. This would mean Verizon should be able to allow you to "reset" the passcode by e-mail once you answer the typical questions (i.e Date of Birth, name, answer the "secret question", etc).
Once you answer all these questions, verizon will send you an e-mail (to the e-mail account you used when you activated the phone online) with the option to "reset" the passcode.
You could also contact Verizon's Customer Support by phone and explain your situation, they might be able to guide you in the right direction, especially if  you are the ONE that pays for this cell phone service.
Best of luck
LM

  • Need Help ASAP. Backdating Draft text messages?

Accidently went into a message I wasn't supposed to be on, happend to be a draft message so it bumped it up to the most recent message. Any way to back date this or what is the best solution for correcting my mistake?
    Thanks

Once you edited a draft text message then that will appear at the top. I'm afraid there is no option to go back to the previous date.

  • Need to copy text messages from a specific person to PC

I am need to make a copy of text messages from a specific person that I currently have on my phone.  I am wanting to transfer them to my PC and print out copies from there.  How do I do this?  I installed Handsent and tried to retrieve them that way but was unable to.  Also tried SMS backup and restore from the Market.  I am anticipating needing these messages in court.

Try an sms backup application that sends to an email address.
Also the xml file created by sms backup & restore should be readable by excel or Internet Explorer.

  • Restoring old text messages vanished from BB protect

    Hi
I need to restore some important old text messages that I had automatically backed up to BB Protect (set to back up weekly). I did not dleete the text messages and have been using BB Protect over the time that I want to use the messages from. Previously I could enter a date that I wanted to restore my messsages to when using BB protect. Now it no longer offers me that choice, just 3 recent dates in a list, the first about a month ago. I understand the backup should have been stored with RIM as well so can anyone advise how I can access them please? Incidently I have already tried accessing BB protect via my playbook but this does not allow me any further. The messages I want to access go from end July 2012 to end October 2012. Do I need to contact RIM directly?
    Many thanks!

Thanks for your reply. What would have happened to the previous saved dates then? I understand the downlooads are stored at RIM. Surely I should be informed when the old backups are going to be deleted? Yes I can underrstand about making manual backups now, but there was no warning my backups on Blackberry protect would be deleted. That is what I understood blackberry protect was there for - to be able to restore from. The dates available now are only over the past few weeks yet I have been using blackberry protect for many months already. Hw could all my other backups just disappear? Thanks in advance

  • Can text messages in the incompletion log be found in any table?

We need to store and review the text messages found in the online incompletion log.  Does anyone know if these are stored in a table?  Or if they are always redetermined upon VA01 or VA02 transactions, does anyone know at what point in what program this happens if we need to build our own custom table to capture the messages?

The incompletion log table is VBUV - Sales Document: Incompletion Log
I think the table is filled in one of the following:
    > Function module - RV_CHECK_DOCUMENT_INPUT
    > Include - LV45FFUV: FORM FEHLER_BESTIMMEN
    I hope this helps.
    Gerard
P.s. Also look for structure VBUV_TAB as I think XVBUV comes for here.

  • Is there a way to set up unique alerts for unique text messages?

I have a need to be able to identify text messages from a specific sender.  I currently can only find one message alert sound for all messages and want to be able to give certain senders a unique sound.  Is this possible on the IPhone?

.. go into "Contacts" on your iPhone.. select a contact.. then scroll down and select the ringtone for either text messages and/or phone calls.

  • Iphone 3gs text message transfer

Hi, my little sister passed away at Christmas and I am trying to safe and/or transfer her text messages on my iphone 3gs, I have a 7 yr old MacBook.  Sorry I am a bit of a 'techno donut'!! Any advice greatly appreciated. Thank you, Livvy

    Hi Livvy,
If you need another option to save the text messages, I've used decipher text message in the past to save my mom's messages when she passed away. I also took screenshots at the time too just to be safe since I was afraid about losing the info. Hope whatever way you go that you are able to save your sisters info.

  • How can i retrieve old text messages

How can i access my old deleted text messages without using backup?
Are there any good and free apps that  can help??

If they are deleted and not in your backup file, then you cannot recover them.

  • How do I recover a deleted text message?

How do I recover a deleted converstaion?

Hello! You can recover deleted SMS directly from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS.
If you've ever synced your iPhone with iTunes before, there is also another way: to recover from iTunes backup for all iPhones including iPhone 5 and iphone4S. You just need the help from an iPhone text message recovery tool.
Tutorial 1: Directly recover deleted photos from iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS
1:Connect your iPhone to the computer
At first, please connect your iPhone to the computer and run the program after installing it.
2:Enter your iPhone's system and scan it (iPhone 5/4S users can skip this step)
After downloading the plug-in, you need to get into the device's scanning mode before scanning. You can follow the steps below:
1)Hold your iPhone and click the "Start" button.
2)Pressing the "Power" and "Home" buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds.
3)After 10 seconds, release the "Power" button, but keep holding "Home" for another 15 seconds.
3: Preview and recover iPhone messages
When the scan is completed, choose "Messages" to preview the detailed content. Mark those you want and click "Recover" to save them on your compute with one click.
Tutorial 2: Scan and extract iTunes backup to recover iPhone SMS
1: Scan your iTunes backup for iPhone 5/4S/4/3GS
After installing and running the program, move to "Recover from iTunes Backup File" and you'll get the interface as follows. All your iTunes backup files have been found and displayed. Choose the one for your iPhone and click the"Start Scan" button.
2: Preview and recover iPhone SMS
Only need to check the "Messages" option and hit the "Recover" to save all the messages on your computer.
    3:Do backup well

  • Is there a way to hear voice mail and see text messages online?

My Stratosphere fell to the floor last night, and I can no longer see the display. Nothing I or the Verizon support guy could do today restored the display. The phone has rung but touching the screen to answer it does not work. I have purchased a new Stratosphere on e-Bay - I don't trust the locals to repair the phone properly - but there'll be a few days until I can get phone service again. Is there any way to access voice mail and text messages through the Verizon website or another phone during this period?

If there are people with whom you are expecting to exchange text messages, you can contact them to let them know of your plight by sending an e-mail to their text message address. For instance, [email protected] or [email protected] Of course you have to limit the message to text-message length.

  • 7920 Text Messaging

I'm developing an application in ASP.Net C# to be used by physicians and nurses where they will be able to use a browser interface to send a text message to a specific 7920 phone.
I've done many hours of research, played with the SDK and searched the Internet for code samples - each of which has partially worked, but I still don't have a clear solution. Here's what I think I need:
    1. A sample of the XML needed to send to create a text message on a given phone.
    2. Code snippet for determining the current IP of a phone based on it's dial number so I know where to send the XML
    3. Any configuration information required for CM 4.2.
I've struggled with this now for two weeks...tried to get help from our Cisco Account Manager, but he says Cisco won't help with programming. I see from other posts that there are developers out there doing things like this now.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To get the current IP of the phone, you will need need AXL (SOAP) or devicelisx.asp (only supported in 3.3.x to 4.x). Once you get the IP address, you need to push CiscoIPPhoneExecute object using HTTP push. To display text on the phone, you need CiscoIPPhoneText object. Check out Cisco's IP Phone SDK. Let me know if you need more details.
PhoneTop Messenger product (won many awards from Cisco IP Phone Telephony User Group) does what you are looking for. It can push text and audio messages to all supported IP phones (7905/12/20/40/41/60/61/79/71/IP Comm). A fully functional eval copy for is available on the web site www.phonetop.com.

  • Is there any way to access my old my verizon account to retrieve old text messages from my own old account from 8 months ago?  I am getting a divorce and I need info off of that account for my hearing to prove what he did.

Is there any way to access my old my Verizon account to retrieve old text messages from my own old account from 8 months ago?  I am getting a divorce and I need info off of that account for my hearing to prove what he did.

What do you mean by "when I brought the messages up back in March"?
Were the messages on your phone? Simply because messages are on your phone does not mean they are still on Verizon's servers. You use internal phone memory to store messages on your phone. The messages do not stay on Verizon's servers until you delete them from your phone.
On the other hand, if you still have your phone and have not reset it since you stopped using it, the texts may still be on your phone. Good luck.

  • Need to access text messages that were stored on My Verizon before I switched phones

When I switched from a Gusto 2 to a Gusto 3 (both "dumb" flip-top phones), all of a sudden I could no longer load my "Send and Manage Messages" page at verizonwireless.com on my laptop. Every time I tried, I'd get an error message that said something about a "redirect loop." I need to access my text messages that were stored there. I have since downloaded a new version of Message+ and can do everything I did before on my laptop, but none of my stored text messages were there when I started using it. It was a clean slate. Is there any way for me to load the Verizon page that has my old messages? Maybe switching my number back to my old phone?

        Brooke1101,
Look no further help is here! I can definitely understand the importance of being able to retrieve your text messages.
You mentioned the text messages are still on your phone. Are you trying to print them? If so, you can forward them to your email and print them that way. Do you still have the phone with the text messages?
