I am working a site that is already created. I have all the info for it and the people really need me to add a link to the site. when I opened the Site in Dreamweaver it wont let me add what I need to. It opened in column form......but wont let me make changes................ They said i may need to import it or something Please Help me SOMEBODY!!! ASAP

Need to add a link to the masthead area of the Portal

I need to add a link to the masthead area of the portal. That link needs to be able to print the content of the current page.
Ihave downloaded the com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead into the NWDS.
Can anybody please let me know where exactly to modify the code.
i am guessing i may need to use window.print() to print the page.

Step 1: Adding new link in the masthead
1. Rename the par file to your own namespace and import the PAR using eclipse
2. To add your link - modify HeaderiView.jsp appropriately
3. Build the PAR and export using Eclipse
Step 2: Create an iView
1. Content Administrator -> Portal Content -> Select the folder in which you need to create the masthead iView. Right click on the selected folder and "Select New From PAR" -> iView
2. Select the PAR file name created by you in Step 1 a
3. Choose "default" in Portal Component Selection
4. Provide the properties for the iView and save
Step 3: Modify Portal Masthead
1. Add the iView created in Step 2 to the Framework Page of your application
2. Remove the existing Masthead iView from the framework page and add iView created in Step 2 in the framework page.
3. Note that the position should be the same where the previous masthead is removed.
Logoff and logon with the user who is assigned the framework page - you should be able to see the new masthead with links
Incase you are changing the default framework page and default masthead ensure that you have a backup so that you can revert.

I also had similar issue couple of months back when I was trying to access a remote URL from a Windows service when the site does not exists in the server where service resides.
You cannot access a remote url (even though it is SharePoint server and also in same network ) from server object model.
SPSite can look in the current server only. here what is happening is SPSite will look for this in the current server DB and it is not finding this errror.
So please dont use ServerObject model for accessing remote sites. You can use Client Object model for the code /requirement you have stated above.
I wasted lot of time in finding a work around to make to work. It did not. So look for other options.

Exactly! The password I used to log on here and write my post I figured was the same Apple ID password I would use to reset my computer login password. But my computer isn't recognizing it as the correct password so it wont let me update my login password. I have 2 user accounts on my computer.

What is the problem specifiaclly?
If the images are intended for web use I would recommend converting them to sRGB which could be done with Edit > Convert to Profile or with File > Save for Web, but as including a Save step in Actions and applying them as Batch can sometimes cause problems I would go with regular converting.
You could also try Image Processor Pro.

- Ho aperto il file e selezionato il Livello al centro per iniziare a registrare una azione che ho chiamato: Save with Name of Selected Layer
- Nuova azione
- Dare il nome e premere Registra
Ora salva…
- Menu --> Livello --> Nuovo --> Livello... e premi -ok-, (lascia il nome che viene mostrato)
- Ancora una volta Menu --> Livello... --> Nuovo --> Livello... e premi -ok-, (lascia il nome che viene mostrato)
- Menu --> Livello --> Ordina --> Dietro
- Menu --> Livello --> Unisci sotto

At this point, by executing this action, I have reached the goal partly because the files created in this way remain, unfortunately, the numerical prefixes to avoid possibly overwriting of files (I think without notice) in the place where they are created.
To achieve the goal we need a new step and thinking about this as follows:
WARNING - The operation described below should be made on a copy of the file, so :
- Duplicate the file
- Move the original folder to another
- Work on the duplicate file.
WARNING - This modification is performed at your own risk and the undersigned assumes no responsibility on what is done mostly by inexperienced hands.
WARNING - This change will overwrite any files with the same name as the selected layer plus the file extension of course.
However, the change is trivial and within reach of anyone.
Proceed as follows:
- Close Photoshop
- Open (in the specified path from the image ) file " Export Layers to Files.jsx " (Export Layers To Files.jsx 1.0.0.16) with a pure text editor.
- Search for the string (should be in line 1029 )

Do you experience this any particular PDF or happens with all of them?
Did you try the same with turning on the OCR ?Please check the same and compare the outputs .Does that help you in anyway ?

You can't backup the iPod t iTunes then. You will have to use an existing iTunes backup.
If iCloud backup is turned on and the iPod is still working (not disabled), the iPod will automatically backup daily if an internet connection is available and the iPod is connected to a charging source.

Trying to "Send Link..." from the File pulldown with Outlook

When I try and "Send Link..." from the File pull down another Outlook window opens up even though Outlook is up and running and that window has an error message " Navigation to the webpage was canceled" and an Outlook E-mail message is generated which is all in lower case including the title and the link which causes the link not o function if it requires upper case letters as well.

From your description, the issue may be related to the CAS server performance. And we can verify it by obtaining the performance log when the issue appears again.
To get the performance log, we can use Exchange 2010 performance monitor:

Then we can compare the values in the log file with thresholds in the RPC Client Access counters:

If there is great gap between the values and thresholds, it is the performance issue.
