I need to ADD and COMBINE parts of a Font or Shape the easy way...

I need to delete points, or parts of a font, or add to them in a really quick way, I have done it by hand, but it takes too long, plus, I have a lot of these to do.
It's actually deleting some of the font, then adding to it.
I have a LONG description in the link below, also an image that probably says more than I did... :)
I know it's probably way overkill in my description, but please bear with me on this, I'm honestly trying to word it to help, hopefully I am not scaring people off.

Shown are explicit steps, for clarity. Because you said you have alot of these to do, familiarize yourself with the associated keyboard shortcuts to make it quicker. (For example, Ctrl-clicking the top row of Pathfinder icons--which are not really Pathfinders, but Shape Modes (sigh)--applies them and expands them in one step.
You can further streamline the process with a little forethought. (For example, set up a Graphic Style for the red stroke/none fill.)
With a little cleverness, you can probably devise a Graphic Style and an Action or two to semi-automate the process further.
Think about the individual steps and see if you can batch-process them; for example, create all the text objects and rectangles first, then do the operations on the various groups. (That's where recording an Action could make this very quick.)
Note that the steps shown assume the laser engraver follows paths (as does a plotter), not mere display. If that is not the case, then overlapping objects may not be a problem, and some of the steps may not be necessary. In fact, if mere visual appearance is what drives the thing, then a Graphic Style including a couple of live Effects could yield the appearance, and the text could remain editable. The rectangle
could be added as an Effect (Convert To Shape), but its position probably needs to shift depending upon the text characters.
You are to be applauded, by the way, for taking the time to clearly and fully describe your problem. Better to go overboard than the far more usual "How-do-I-make-the-thing-I'm thinking-about-but-am-too-lazy-to-explain" kind of questions. ;-)

OK, now I see the difference. Since subdir.bak is empty, I get no output from DIR.
Asking for DIR subdir.bak* is similar to asking for Get-Item subdir.bak which does return the expected result.

Need to Add and Remove Columns of ADF Read Only table from Backing bean

I have a scenario where I am trying to Populate TransientVO which is shown has a ADF Read Only Table in page.
I have couple of Check Boxes Based on their selection I am trying to render and hide certain Columns.
But the Issue which I am facing is only the Column Header seems to change where as the Rows and Values doesnt..
even If I apply the expression language rendering condition on the outputText inside those columns.. ..
So I am thinking to add and remove VO Attribute columns to the table from backing bean.
Need some sample code snippet or a better design to achieve this. Its kind of urgent too...having an aggressive deadline :(

Need to add and manipuate text in slideshow.

I have created a slideshow in iDVD, but I need to add text to some slides. I know you can check an option to show the titles of the photos, but this isn't quite what I need. I only want text on some slides and I would like to be able to manipulate where the text is, how it moves, font/color, etc for each individual slide. Also, it's kind of an annoyance to have to name the photo what I want the text to say.. I'd rather just add a text box.
After a lot of experimenting and researching, I'm pretty sure this cannot be done using iDVD or iPhoto. I also have Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro, but am relatively new to these programs and haven't tried using either of them for this yet.
So, does anyone know what program I can use to add text as described above?

In such cases I go a different route.
I use Photo to Movie:

which not only does what you are asking, but heaps more besides.
Once complete it will transfer the project to iMovie for completion (chapters etc) thence to iDVD or Toast for burning.

I just updated itunes and a LOT of my movies and music disappeared. These are movies and music I owned already and did not purchase from iTunes. How do I find them or do I need to add them all again? Also what happened to the sidebar?

I just updated my iTunes software and have a lot of problems...
1. The sidebar option is gone. I LIKED the sidebar and it was easier for me to navigate that way.
2. Also no lists? I hate the icon way to view it. It makes my eyes go wonky and I have a harder time actually looking for what I want.
3. A LOT of my music and movies have disappeared. These are music and movies I owned that I did NOT purchase from iTunes so I can not re-download them.
How do I find the missing files? Do I have to readd them into iTunes? Is there a way I am not seeing to put thew sidebar back or make the files be viewed in list form? Can I undo this update to put it back the way it was. I hate this update...

Can anyone give me some useful information on the best ways to design and build a database/booking & dispatch system that can be intergrated through ical, address book and available on my macbook, ipad & iphone and all accessed through icloud.
I started my own chauffuer Service a year ago as an independent. it's becoming a massive bore that most of my time is spent taking down information, checking if i am available for clients and with alot of diary checking and repeatative entries and email ping pong and invoicing, what i want to do is concerntrate on advertising and marketing and using my time off for R & R
What i would like to do is access my information in an app and automate most of the processes like
assigning the job to the client with intergration through iCal and Address Book
be able to email confirmation through mail with an invoice produced through numbers or excel
payment is already done through payleven mobile and must be done in person so i'd rather keep that seperate to all processes apart from a tick box to say it has been paid for.
I have been looking at all options FileMaker, Bento, Automator, Apple Script. to be frank im no expert and am a little confused as to what to do any advice would be greatly recieved.

MY requirement is i need to add 10 custom fields in the standard program RM06EN00 whos tcode is ME2N.
i have appended the fields in the EKKO table and they r now available in the dynamic selection screen of the report RM06EN00.
But i need to display this fields in the output and these fields should also be available in the change layout of the ALV report which is displayed when u click on the change button after pointing the cursor on the PO number.
I am looking out for any enhacement though which this requirement can be met. however my second option is to copy the standard report to a z program and modify it. but i think it will not going to be east and it may take a lot of time..
Need both advice and answers for this soon.
